Next day at Luthra house.

Preeta and Karan decide to put their plan against Prithvi and Sherlyn into action.

They were about to leave when Rakhi calls them to have breakfast.

Preeta: Maa late ho gaya hai...mein office mein kar lungi...

Karan: Koi late nahi ho raha hai...academy meri hai...jab marzi jaye...chalo breakfast karte hai.

Karan pulls Preeta and makes her sit.

Rakhi serves Karan while Kareena serves Preeta.

Everybody is shocked especially Preeta.

Karan (murmurs): Abhi kuch der mein mujhe dil ka dohra padne wala hai!!

Preeta lightly hits him and he shuts his mouth.

Kareena (smiles): Khaana shuru karo no...tumhare favorite pohe hai na...

Preeta smiles back and haves her breakfast. Then they leave.

In Preeta's cabin.

Preeta is thinking about Kareena's changed behavior and a lone tear escapes her eyes.

Just then Karan enters.

Karan: Babydoll, tum ro kyu rahi ho...(wipes her tears) 

Preeta: Nahi Karan yeh toh khushi ke aasun hai...tumne dekha tha aaj subah Karena bua ko....(she smiles while crying)

Karan (smiles): Haan dekha tha...bua ka changed behavior dekh kar mujhe bohot achcha laga...

He pulls her into a hug.

Preeta: Mujhe bhi...

Just then they hear Preeta's phone ringing and break the hug.

It was Prithvi's call.

They nodded. Preeta took a deep breath and picked up the call and put it on speaker.

Preeta: Hello..

Prithvi: Preeta ji...meine aapka message dekha...urgently call karne ke liye...kya hya sab thik toh hai na..

Preeta (fakes crying): Nahi Prithvi ji, kuch bhi thik nahi hai..

Prithvi: Kya hua Preeta ji aap ro kyun rahi hai?? Kahi uss Karan ne toh kuch...

Preeta: Haan Prithvi ji....

Karan glares at her and she chuckles softly.

Preeta: Prithvi ji..woh...actually...woh...mein.......
Karan se pyaar nahi karti....

Prithvi is happy to hear this while Karan is annoyed. Preeta gets sad saying this.

Preeta is unable to say the next line and looks at Karan. He gives her an assuring look and she takes a deep breath.

Preeta: Prithvi ji mein aapse pyaar karti hu...

Karan turns around while Preeta closes her eyes.

Prithvi is overwhelmed hearing this.

Prithvi: Kya Preeta ji, sach mein.

Preeta: Haan....

Prithvi: Preeta ji kya hum milke baat kar sakte hai??

Preeta: Kaha par??

Prithvi ji: Preeta ji ek kaam kijiye...aap aaj shaam ko mere ghar aa jaiye.

Preeta agrees and cuts the call. She loos at Karan who was not looking at her. She keeps her hand on his shoulder and he turns.

Preeta: Karan woh.....

Karan (keeps his finger on his lips): Shhh...kuch mat bolo...

Pal ek pal mein hi tham sa gaya

Both were equally hurt, she didn't have the guts to say this and he didn't have the courage to hear it.

Tu haath mein haath jo de gaya

He bends closer to her, their foreheads, touching. Tears were visible in their eyes.

Chalu mein jahan jaaye tu

Karan (crying): Jaanta hu meine hi tumhe yeh karne ke liye kaha tha...par pata nahi mujhe kya ho gaya tha...ek ajeeb sa dard mehsoos ho raha tha...yaha par...(keeping her hand on the left side of his chest)...pata nahi mujhe kya ho jaata hai...nahi dekh sakta mein tumhe kisi aur ke saath...dar lagta hai ki mein kahi tumhe kho na du...jab tum uss Prithvi ya uss Shiv ke saath hoti ho...mujhe achcha nahi lagta...jalan hoti hai mujhe...

Hasu mein jab gaaye tu
Roun mein, murjhaaye tu

Karan: Mein tumhe khona nahi chahta...mein tumhe kho nahi sakta...I can't lose you...

Bheegu mein barsaye tu
Saathiya...

Preeta (wipes his tears): Mein kabhi tumhe chodkar nahi jaungi...You will never lose me...

Tu ishq ke saare rang de gaya

Karan: Pakka??

Phir kheench ke apne sang le gaya

Preeta: Tum chahoge na...tab bhi nahi...mein sirf tumhari hu Karan...mera wajood sirf tum se hai...Preeta Arora sirf Karan Luthra ki hai...aur Karan Luthra sirf uska...hum dono ko koi alag nahi kar sakta...maut bhi tumhe mujhse nahi cheen sakti....

Kahi pe kho jaaye chal

Karan hugs Preeta and the two of them get emotional. They tighten their grip on each other not wanting to leave each other...wishing the time stops there forever.

Jahan ye ruk jaaye pal
Kabhi na phir aaye kal
Saathiya...

Just then they hear a knock on the door and break the hug. Shiv enters the cabin.

Shiv: Hi Preeta, actually mein chahta tha ki tum aaj puri team ke saath lunch karo. If you don't mind...

Preeta looks at Karan who looks upset.

Preeta (smiles): Thank you so much Shiv for the invitation...but actually aaj mein apne husband ke saath coffee peene jaa rahi hu...(she says looking at Karan)

Karan is surprised to hear that and smiles seeing her.

Shiv (upset): Oh, okay...No problem.

He leaves her cabin.

Preeta: Toh Mr. Husband, chale??

She chuckles and Karan smiles seeing her and they leave for their first official date.

Malhotra House.

Prithvi is dancing in the hall thinking that Preeta is in love with him.

Prithvi: Preeta ji mujhse pyaar karti hai!! Ab mein unhe uss gilli danda player ke paas kabhi nahi jaane dunga. Prithvi ki Preeta ji aaj shaam ko uske ghar aa rahi hai!!

He goes to pick the best outfit for himself.

In a cafe.

Preeta and Karan reserve a table for themselves, secluded from the open area.

Karan: Kaisi lagi yeh jagah?

Preeta: Bohot achchi hai...kyun ki tum mere saath ho...

Karan smiles and looks into her eyes. They share an eyelock.

Waiter: Excuse me sir, your order please.

Preeran: A cappuccino with three tablespoons of brown sugar and two tablespoons of coffee powder.

They both look at each other and smile.

Waiter: Anything else, sir, ma'am??

Preeta: No, thank you.

The waiter leaves, leaving them alone. Karan then removes beautiful orchids from his coat and gives them to Preeta.

Karan (handing over the flowers): Beautiful flowers for a beautiful lady.

Preeta (surprised): Tumhe kaise pata yeh mere favorite flowers hai...

Karan (holds her hand and entangles their fingers): Mujhe toh woh bhi pata hai tumhare baare mein jo tumhe nahi pata....tumse behtar tumhe jaanta hu mein...

Preeta blushes. They finish their coffee and leave for Prithvi's house.
