Everybody reaches home and Karan takes Preeta to their room. He makes her lie on the bed and kisses her forehead. He goes downstairs and the girls decide to  cook. 

Shrishti (crybaby face): Par mujhe khaana banana nahi aata!!

Sameer laughs and she glares at him. 

Sameer: Tumse achcha khaana toh Rishabh bhai bana le!!

He again starts laughing.

Nisha: Achcha!! Toh ek kaam karo tum ladke hi khaana bana lo aaj!!

Karan (crybaby): Bhabhi meine kya kiya mujhe kyun phassa rahe ho!! Mein nahi banaunga khaana!!

"Tumhe banana hoga!!"

Preeta comes downstairs. The girls smirk. While Karan makes a crybaby face.

Nyra: Matlab aaj hume khaana nahi milega!!!??

Preeta laughs. Karan smiles seeing her laugh but then glares at her.

Karan: Princess, yeh aap kya bol rahe ho!! Aapke dad ko aapki mumma se bhi achcha khaana banana aata hai!!

Preeta glares at him.

Preeta: Tumhara kya matlab hai bajarbattu!!?? Mein achcha khaana nahi banati!??

Karan: Nahi, mera matlab tha ki mein tumse achcha khaana bana lunga!!

Preeta (angry): Oh really!! Thik hai toh phir cooking competion karte hai!!

Everybody slaps their forehead.

Sherlyn: Matlab aaj hume khaana pakka nahi milega!!

Shrishti: Di, rehne do na...

Karan: Aise kaise rehne do!! Aaj toh competition ho hi jaaye!!

Sameer: Bhai, bhabhi chodiye na...

Preeran: Bilkul nahi!!

They glare at each other and then go inside the kitchen.

Nyra sits on Mahesh's lap.

Nyra: Aap log hotel se khaana mangwa lo...

Shrishti: Haan...

Nisha: Mujhe bhi nahi lagta ki aaj hume khaana milega!!

Later.

Karan and Preeta are in the kitchen, making dinner. Preeta looks at Karan's dish. She sees that it looks lovely and smiles. Karan sees her looking at his dish and immediately goes towards her. 

Karan: Dekho kareli, meine itni mehnat se khaana banaya hai...tum isse apni kadwahat se kharab mat kar dena!!

She glares at him.

Preeta (angry): Already kharab cheez ko aur kya kharab karu mein, huhh!!

He glares at her. Meanwhile, Nisha and Rishabh, were seeing all this from outside and gulp. They go back to the family, which was looking at them with hope. They look at each other and sigh, nodding in no. Everybody sighs.

In the kitchen.

Preeta and Karan finish cooking. Karan looks at Preeta who was busy garnishing her dish.

Karan (in mind): Chalo achcha hai, kam se kam iski tabiyat toh thik hai...ek min, iski tabiyat toh thik hai, par teri tabiyat ko kya hogaya, Karan Luthra!! Tu apni babydoll ke saath hai, aur woh bhi akele...aur tune 1/4th teaspoon romance bhi nahi kiya!! Not fair!!

Preeta sees Karan lost and looks at him, confused.

Preeta: Karan??

Karan doesn't respond.

Preeta (a bit loudly): Karan!???

Again, he doesn't respond.

Preeta (shouts, making whole of Luthra house to shake): Karan Luthraaa!!!!

Karan stumbles, while the other family members get scared.

Nyra (outside): Aaj toh papa gaye...

Sherlyn: Nahi, nahi, Nyra...himmat rakho tumhare papa bohot strong hai!! Par...

Shrishti: Meri di ke saamne nahi...

In the kitchen.

Karan (scared): Y...ye...yes, babydoll...

Preeta: Kiske baare mein soch rahe ho!!??

Karan (innocently): Tumhare baare mein...

Preeta smiles. Karan is happy to see her smile. They take their dishes outside, where everybody had been sitting, almost half dead.

Rohan/Nyra: Finally!!!

Everybody gathers at the dining table to eat. Preeta serves the biryani and curry, made by her. Karan has made the sweet dish, so he waits for everyone to finish. Everybody praises Preeta. Preeta looks at Karan, who was making a face. She laughs silently. She takes the kheer prepared by him and starts eating it. She realizes something.

Preeta (in mind): Uffo!!! Yeh bajarbattu bhi na!! Kheer mein chini daalna bhul gaya!! Agar kisi ne kuch kaha toh kitna upset ho jayega...ab mein kya karu!!

She starts eating all of the kheer. Everybody looks at her, confused. 

Karan: Babydoll maana ki mein ek achha chef hu, but hume bhi toh taste karne do!!

She glares at him and continues eating it. Karan tries to take the bowl but she doesn't give it to him. He finally snatches the bowl and eats it . He makes a disgusting face and glares at her. She looks here and there.

Karan: Kya zaroorat thi yeh khaane ki!!!

Everybody looks at them confused. 

Preeta: Woh...actually, mein...woh...

Karan: Isme toh chini hi nahi hai!!! 

Everybody looks at Preeta. 

Nisha: Pree, tune yeh kyun khaya??

Sameer: Haan bhabhi, aapko pata nahi chala kya??

Karan: Sab kuch puch rahe hai...jawab do!!

Preeta: Agar nahi khati toh tumhe bura lagta na...tumne itni mehnat se banaya tha...

Karan is touched. He looks at her, emotionally. He smiles and she smiles, seeing him. Everybody smiles. 

Nyra: Kal diwali hai!! Aur mein apne mumma papa ke saath isse dhum dham se manana chahti hu!!

Karan/ Preeta: As you say Princess/Jaan!!

They all go to sleep. 

Meanwhile.

Mahira is secretly hiding in the out-house. Clearly, not happy wih the outcome of her plan. 

Mahira: Ab kya karu!! Yeh Preeta toh mere Karan ka picha hi nahi chod rahi!!

"Karan tumhara nahi hai!!!" 

Mahira turns behind and is shocked to see Sherlyn. 

Mahira: Tum!! 

Sherlyn: Haan mein!! Aur mein tumhe tumhare maksat mein kamiyab nahi hone dungi!! 

Mahira (smirks): Tum aisa kuch nahi karogi. Jaanti ho kyun...kyun ki tum Nyra, Rohan aur Kartik se bohot pyaar karti ho!! And I am sure unn teeno ka mara hua chehra na tum dekhna chahogi aur na hi tumhare yeh so called parivaar wale!!

Sherlyn gets shocked. 

Sherlyn: Yeh tum...tum...tum aisa nahi kar sakti...

Mahira: Kyun nahi kar sakti!! Bhulo mat Sherlyn, meine yeh sab tum hi se toh seekha hai!! 

She laughs. Tears flow down Sherlyn's cheeks. 

Sherlyn: Dekho tumhe jo karna hai karo...but please bachco ko kuch mat karna... please...

Mahira (smirks): Thik hai toh phir tum tayaar ho jao. Jo mein bolungi, woh tumhe karna hoga!! Nahi toh...

Sherlyn (immediately): Thik hai!!

Mahira smirks. She calls someone. He  comes  after sometime and Sherlyn is shocked to see him. 

Sherlyn: Tum!!

He lowers his head, feeling guilty.  Mahira laughs. 

Mahira: Haan aur yeh bhi bechara tumhari tarah fasa hua hai, mere saath...woh kya hai na ki yeh bhi apni behen se bohot pyaar karta hai!! Aur jab tak mujhe mera Karan nahi mil jaata...tab tak mein iski behen ko nahi chodungi!!

Aditya and Sherlyn look at each other, helpless. Tears flowing down their eyes. Mahira asks them to leave. Without saying a word, they leave the out-house. They reach outside the Luthra house, without uttering a single word. Both are lost in thoughts. Aditya and Sherlyn look at each other. Unable to control, Sherlyn hugs him and bursts into tears. He too hugs her back. Both cry their pain out. 

Preeta and Karan see them from their room and smile. Karan back hugs Preeta. She smiles.

Karan: Kitne achche lag rahe haina dono saath mein...

Preeta just hums. 

Preeta: Karan tumhe kuch ajeeb nahi lag raha...

Karan asks her to relax and says that she is just overthinking. She hums and both of them go to bed.
