when i graduate, i'll buy a car.
and get a tattoo,
pierce my ears.

i'll run, but not too far.

i'm gonna ride through the night.
climb to the top
of the summit or building.
then i'll swear at the world,
and get drunk on life.
then i'll sleep through the day,
so that i'm energized by midnight.

after that i'll travel the world,
swim in the oceans,
scream on a mountain,
and skinny dip in central park.

maybe i'll find my soul,
in the city,
or someone else's eyes.
and i'll know i'm home.

i'll remember every moment.
the memories saved in my heart,
for i will live to see tomorrow.

i will chase every sunset.
i will dream of the cities that captured my heart.
but then i wake up from the dream,
and remember I'll do it all someday.
