A month had passed and I was going to visit my best friend Ella. Seeing her was what I hadn't done in a long time since the 'incident'. I was thrilled to come across her again!

"Click-click." My black flats were thunder on the grey glass floor. Sadly, I was late, that stupid Taiwan traffic. I should've taken the train. Anyway, I ran to Ella Kim's office. She was a detective, the job I wanted. Instead, I got to be an author. I still loved my job though.

"Creak." The quietest door I've ever opened, I thought sarcastically.

"Ella... Hello, I know you're in here!" Where was she? Ella specifically texted me that we would meet in her office. Wait, she said to meet at 'our place' what was that supposed to mean?
