Prologue

Soft little breaths littered through her neck, descending down to the nape while her breathing fastened to ease the pit inside her stomach. She clenched her eyes shut, feeling the subtle pleasure overtake her senses. His one hand surrounded her waist in a gentle grip, while the other hand moved the hair that covered her face.

Her body tensed when his hands descended down to the places which were restricted to any other men in her life. His lips slowly lingered in the crook of her neck while his hair strands tickled her cheeks. So many times, she had imagined him doing this to her.

She could still remember the countless times, she had imagined his lips on hers. Today, when it was happening, she felt as though they were too real. They haven't even taken their vows yet. How could they do this?

"Arjun..."

"Shh..." he shushed her before she could speak. His face was enough to make her heart skip a beat. He was so handsome that she felt her world spin around her. Arjun was smart enough to take advantage of her daze.

He quickly lifted her up and placed her on the bed. She leaned back on the pillow and rested her body flat on the bed. Now, her heartbeat was thudding ten times faster when she noticed the undeniable passion in his eyes. He was a mood... completely.

"Arjun, we shouldn't. If my parents caught us, we would be in deep trouble." She spoke in a hushed tone. Her eyes blinked with reluctance, but her heart didn't want to let him go. She could see the mixed signals she was giving him. She just couldn't help herself.

"You are always so uptight, jaan... You have to relax." he whined and her heart melted.

"But..... This is after marriage... We should be... actually-" she did not know why she was blabbering. Nothing she spoke, made sense. Her eyes were all the while distracted by his attractive features. His hands folded across his chest, showcasing his bulging biceps while he eyed her curiously.

When he rubbed his fingers over his messy stumbles, her breathing hitched. His jeans hung low on his waist while his blue t-shirt stretched over his muscular body. Damn god, he was so good-looking that her heart melted into puddles. He slowly walked forward until his body was close to hers on the bed. When he leaned forward, towering upon her small frame, every wrong in the world became right.

Her hands automatically went up to his shoulders. She looked at him as though he held the galaxy on his face.

"I want you." That's all he said and she understood his leftover unsaid words. There were no more questions nor answers after that.

After all, their marriage was only few months away. That's what she had said to herself to reduce the guilt.

Being madly in love with him, giving away her virginity, did not seem like a great deal. It was the rush of the moment, heat of the passion and unforgivable rush of hormones when they were together. It never felt right with any other person like it did, with Arjun.

Just a glimpse of his face had the ability to ooze in the life into her body. She was like a lifeless corpse who found a soul in his breath. He was everything she ever wanted in life. Whatever he said was like a prayer to her ears and whatever he did, became the only law in her rule book.

She worshipped him like he was the only man alive on this earth. Her love for him grew to a point where she thought she would never be able to breathe if he wasn't there. She loved him and the feelings that she had for him was beyond her soul.

Her only love, Arjun....

She forced herself to take a breath as he laid there, finishing his fill. He was sated after what seemed like a few hours. Duvet pulled up to his waist, his hot piercing gaze fell on her delicate body again. Her breaths still came in pants as she had difficulties to catch her breath in silence. It was hard to stay quiet, especially when she was living in a smaller house.

Desire was building inside her wildly as she tried to nudge him away. But before she could get him away, he caught her hands and pulled her to his chest.

"You know what I love about you the most?" he asked as a small smile lingered on his lips.

When she looked up at him, her lips naturally curved into a shy smile. Just seeing a smile on his face, made her life so satisfied.

"What?"

"You have everything that I have ever searched for, in life...."

"And what's that?" she asked, still wanting him to finish his cheesy lines. She was never a fan of romantic-cheesy dialogs. But after being in love with him, everything he said, made sense.

"This was always my dream. You, me, a small home and our peaceful place. I never thought that the first girl who I date, would eventually be my last too. You are the only woman I could ever imagine a life with. Trust me jaan, without you.... I will never be able to see the life that I have always dreamt about." He confessed, making her stomach flip inside.

"Well, feelings are mutual. Now, we are just two bodies.... But one soul. We are connected, physically and emotionally. I can never get over this Arjun.... I swear if there is ever a day that I have to forget you, I would choose to die." She said, taking Arjun by shock.

His eyes widened and his entire demeanour changed. He quickly sat up and held her shoulder in a stern grip.

"Jaanvi????"

--------------------

"Jaanvi?"

"Jaanvi?"

"Jaanvi?"

She felt like a pail of water was splashed on her face. She woke up in cold sweat and looked around the cell that she was imprisoned at.

Her hands touched her face and she could still feel his touch lingering there. How did the dream feel so real? Her face paled and she grasped hardly for air. It took her a few minutes to digest the fact that Arjun wasn't there anymore. The area there suffocated her as she struggled to overcome the pain of her shivering body.

She covered her mouth with her palms and swallowed her sob back. She couldn't even cry... Her tears had dried up the minute she realised that her life was going to be ruined within the four walls. Her heartbeat rose.

She needed him back...

She wanted her Arjun back. No correction... She needed him back.

His voice echoed everywhere she turned. The pain was much harsher than a terminal disease. The pain had an unpleasant warmth, eating up her intestines. The nausea was just enough to make her hold onto the table for support and breath slower.

Despite her struggles to keep silent, her emotions got the worst out of her. A loud, shrill left her lips in agony. An agony that no one heard. No one understood the kind of turmoil she had to go through during the darkest of the nights.

"ARJUNNNNN"
