"I want to kiss you again."

Over the course of over a half hour, and a lot of pep-talks later, Jungkook found himself standing in front of the last bottle he needed to shoot in order to meet the condidtions of Jimin's deal. He had shot three out of the six bottles so far, but since he had missed his first shot there was only one bottle left for him to try to hit. No second chances, he had to be accurate.

It had taken awhile for Jungkook, but he had figured out that if he calmed himself down enough and focused clearly enough he could be accurate. After he had missed the first bottle, he took into account that he had missed it by a very slim margin. Luckily he was able to adjust his aim to fix this, because the longer he stood next to Jimin the longer he slowly felt himself going mad.

He needed to know what Jimin had felt when he kissed him. Jungkook knew that the older male had liked it, given how long they had kissed for, but that wasn't what he was so hung up about. He wanted to know if Jimin had felt the electricity and fireworks that he had felt. He had to know if Jimin was feeling the same feelings that he was, his heart ached every time he thought about it.

The words had left his mouth before he had time to rethink what he was going to say. He had been thinking about kissing Jimin, remembering what it had felt like to actually feel Jimin's lips against his, and soon enough his thoughts vocalized into words. He would have taken the words back if he had said them a few days ago, but he just couldn't find it in him to but back his emotions again.

Jimin knew that he had feelings for him. It was indisputable, and for a little while he believed that maybe the older male reciprocated them. Jimin had kissed him back, and touched him so gently, and spoke the sweetest words. It was no wonder that Jungkook wanted nothing more than to feel Jimin's skin under his fingertips once more.

"Excuse me?" Jimin's words sounded taken aback, and when Jungkook turned his head to look he noticed the pink hue that was rising on Jimin's cheeks. His eyes were wide, and his lips quivered as he tried to suppress a smile.

Jungkook wished that whatever barriers were holding back his emotions were breaking, and that soon enough his true feelings would push through.

"I want to kiss you again." Jungkook repeated, doubling down on what he had said. Jimin's face turned redder upon the realization that he hadn't heard the younger boy wrong, crossing his arms over his chest and looking away to try and hide the embarrassment on his face. "Can I?"

"You're stalling again." Jimin mumbled, gesturing to the last bottle that stood unbroken on he table. "You might think I can't notice, but it's obvious when you're just trying to kill time."

Jungkook chuckled softly, shaking his head and lowering his gun. He turned the safety on and stuck in the back pocket of his black ripped jeans, before taking a few steps closer to Jimin. The older male was clearly battling a swarm of emotions in his own mind, and Jungkook just wanted to hear everything that he had to say. His mind was just too stubborn on this topic, it just wouldn't let him move past until he knew what Jimin had truly meant when he pressed their lips together.

"If I was trying to kill time, I would have asked a really complicated question that you would spend the next thirty minutes explaining." He smiled cheekily, making Jimin narrow his eyes and wonder if the younger male had done that before. "I just stated a fact, and asked a simple question. I want to kiss you again, can I?"

Jimin gulped, his body involuntarily shuddering at the younger boy's words. It was almost agonizing, to front and act like he didn't feel anything as Jungkook pushed every single one of his buttons. The younger male had an aura about him that made Jimin sweat. It was like he knew exactly what words would seep into Jimin's brain the fastest, and precisely what touches would linger on his skin the longest.

Standing right across from him was the greatest test of willpower, and the longer that he kept up his act the longer he began to wonder if it was doing him more harm than good. If giving in to his feelings was the wrong option, then why did it feel like it would be so much easier?

"Shoot the last bottle, and then maybe we can talk about it." He answered shakily, looking into Jungkook's eyes. They were brimming with more emotions than Jimin could count, chocolate brown irises snagging him and pulling him in.

"I didn't ask to talk about it, I asked if I could do it again." Every word that left Jungkook's mouth was just another hit to Jimin's composure, the older male squeezing his eyes shut and looking to the side. If he looked at Jungkook any longer he would cave, and he knew that.

He took in a deep breath, trying to calm down his nerves. Why did Jungkook have to have this kind of effect on him? Every other time in his life that he was faced with romance he was able to brush it off and forget, because he knew that it didn't fit into his lifestyle. These feelings for Jungkook wouldn't go down easy, though. They poked and prodded at Jimin's mind, making his hands shaky and his legs weak.

Jungkook knew this too, and he was playing all the right cards.

"Why can't you just accept that I want to brush this under the rug?" Jimin sighed, his inner frustrations being directed at the male in front of him.

"Because your eyes are telling me that you want to do the exact opposite." Jungkook shrugged, his eyes glinting.

Jungkook turned back around, taking a deep breath before taking his gun out of his back pocket again. He flicked the safety switch off, breathing a deep breath before raising his arm for what felt like the millionth time that day.

Every time he aimed his gun now, it became less an less scary, more comfortable with each gunshot that rang through the air. It was almost unnerving, but his brain was slowly starting to realize that it was just a part of being with
Jimin.

Jungkook breathed out a deep breath, focusing his vision in on the last bottle that stood on the table. He willed his nerves away, trying to recreate what he had done to accurately shoot the other bottles before. He didn't want to think about it too long, knowing that he would end up overthinking and ruin the whole shot.

At the root of this whole issue was Jimin. If he didn't succeed, the older male might just shut him out from his emotions completely. Those were the conditions of his deal after all. Jungkook just wanted to know what Jimin was really thinking, what hid behind to barrier he was putting up.

Another gunshot rang through the air as Jungkook's finger sank down fully on the trigger, and the younger boy kept his eyes trained on the bottle in front of him. Jungkook watched as it shattered and splintered into hundreds of shards that crumbled onto the ground. The bullet had gone straight through it, leaving only the bottom of the bottle unscathed as the rest of it lay destroyed by the shot.

Jungkook stood frozen, his brain not completely registering the fact that he had actually succeeded. He hadn't just shot one target, he had completed exactly what Jimin had laid out for him to do. It stunned him, and it had taken Jimin aback as well, because the two of them stood unmoving in silence for a few moments.

"You actually fucking did it." Jimin whispered incredulously, breaking the silence between them. He took a few steps forward, a few scattered pieces of glass crunching under the soles of his boots. Jimin scanned the table, observing all of the shattered glass and half broken bottles that littered it. "I'm not even going to lie to you, I didn't think you would."

Jungkook exhaled, switching the safety on his gun and tucking it in his back pocket once more.

"I didn't think I would either." He admitted, looking down at his hands and observing how they were trembling. Probably from a mixture of adrenaline and excitement, he assumed. "I don't know how I just did that."

Jimin raised an eyebrow, walking closer to Jungkook until they were standing face to face.

"It's because you finally stopped getting in your head about it." Jimin spoke, Jungkook looking to meet his gaze. "You didn't overthink the last shot, I watched you, and it shocked me. Lack of hesitation is hard to learn, so it's kind of crazy how far you've come already."

Jungkook nodded slowly, bringing one of his hands up to rub his bicep. The compliment was bittersweet. To not hesitate before shooting a gun, was something he didn't think he would ever do.

"Can we talk now?" He finally asked, cutting straight to what he knew was on both of their minds. "I did what you asked me, and I did it right. I'm done training for today, come on Jimin."

Jimin sighed and ran a hand through his hair, his heart thudding in his chest as he realized that he had backed himself into a corner. He really didn't think that Jungkook was going to succeed, and so he thought that he was going to be off the hook and not have to talk about the kiss.

Like he had many times before though, Jungkook had surprised him.

"Fine."
