Prank Nine

Pranker: Death

Victim: Fury

Let's begin.

It had been a few hours since War's prank, giving plenty for Strife to laugh about as he later left afterward to answer a summons from the Council. Death, War, and Fury were now left with the rest of the day without Strife's laughing echoing throughout the house. Death had a trick up his sleeve, not really caring who he set his plan into motion on.
The only problem with it was he didn't have a very convincing plan for who to spring it on, and he lacked the chance to think it over because of War and Strife's earlier scheme. He felt it would be right for him to use his prank on War, but he still wanted a better revenge than a jump scare on Fury for her makeup job on his mask, it was the only reason she had a point on the chart after all. He smiled softly to himself as he thought of a simplified plan for it.
He would wait until tomorrow to put it into action, but Death felt now was a better moment to strike.
"Fury, may you join me to the courtyard?" Death called out from the doorway that led to the area he was requesting her presence in. Fur looked over at him, a flash of suspicion seeming to appear in her eyes for a moment, but she rose to join him regardless of her concerns. She stepped outside with him and he awaited her at the table they always had outside to relax at.
"What is it, Death?" Fury asked curiously, being mindful of the world around her. Death was sitting down at the table in the courtyard, looking down at a book in his lap, he only offered her a curling finger in reply. She came closer to him as he wanted and she spotted the vacant seat across from him.
She eyed it, glad to see there was no visible gags that could trap her. She decided to trust her brother and took the chance of sitting in the chair, even though ever part of her screamed not to. Even if it were a clever trap she had confidence it wouldn't be anything humiliating.
As she placed weight onto the chair to join Death in conversation, the wood and small pieces of steel shattered under her and she plummeted to the ground, landing hard on her rump against the stone floor. Fury had squealed in surprise from the fall, watching Death now give her eyes that told her he was smirking under his mask.
She sighed as she made her eyes stop widening, running a hand through her hair as she giggled.
"I wanted to discuss the strength of our furniture. I believe you can agree we should have it replaced." Death said at last, a rusty chuckle slipping out of him. Fury looked up at him in disbelief as she grinned at his terrible joke.
"I can agree you're inquiry is right, brother. I'll have to tell the others then." She stood up with a small laugh, spotting War peaking into the courtyard to see what the prank had been when he heard Fury squeal. Fury rolled her eyes and offered a small punch to Deaths arm as she passed him to return to the house.
When she got inside, War was already adding a point to Death's box.
