[new york.]

(let's pretend the guy in the gif is matt ok? ok.)

"My feet hurt so bad." She groaned as her and Matt entered their hotel room, after a long day out sight seeing. It was their final day in New York, therefore Matt decided to take Aria was a day long walk around the parts of New York that they hadn't seen before, and were definitely worth seeing.

Matt, who immediately slipped off his shoes, shrugged his jacket off and plonked onto the bed, curling into the sheets and covers, chuckled. "Well you better rest up, because I have reservations."

Aria whined. "But my feet are so tired."

Matt rolled over onto his side so he was facing his girlfriend. "How about, I fix you a bath, you can rest, then we can get changed and have a nice dinner."

"So now, you decide to be totally clichè? After what? 2 months?" She replies, heart warming at his sweet gesture.

Matt grinned. "You know you have a soft spot for the typical, fancy restaurant date."

Aria shrugged with a sheepish smile. "Maybe I do, as long that it's not Italian. That's just totally and utterly clichè."

Matt winked playfully, "Don't worry, it's not."

Aria leaned forward and planted a light kiss on Matt's nose. "You know me so well."

"Well, you are my girlfriend, it's my job to know everything about you and to make you happy."

Aria inwardly cried to her self, heart clenching at the sweet words that always leave his lips. No matter what he says, whether it be a simple compliment or just a 'how are you', she found her self falling deeper and deeper in likeness with the boy. "How are you so perfect?" She whispered, her fingertips lightly tracing the outline of his lips, his jaw, his cheekbones. He really was perfect.

"I'm far from it." He lowly mumbled, before slowly parting his lips and bringing hers to his. His hand was resting against her chin, softly kissing her lips, as he relished the feeling of her against him. He loved being with her more than anything. The sense that she was his, and only his, and that he could be the one to hold her and touch her this way, overwhelmed him.

Reluctantly, he pulled away. Her eyes were still closed, wanting to relish the small and quiet moment. To break the comfortable silence, Matt said, "I should really fix you that bath."

A small laugh bubbled from her lips, as her eyes fluttered open. "Fine, then we'll get ready and you can take me to the reservation."

Matt got up with a grin, as he circled the bed and entered the bathroom. Moments passed before Aria heard the water running. "What's the restaurant called anyway?" Aria called out, playing with a strand of her hair.

"The jade wolf." He said simply, not wanting to reveal it's actual name.

"Haha, very funny." She joked, standing up and going into the bathroom. Her bath — as quick as it may seemed — was full, bubbles imploding from the surface. Aria sighed dramatically at the sight, the back of her hand resting against her forehead. "My very own little spa day, or hour, how sweet."

"As if you actually deserve it." Matt said, joking.

Aria gasped and mocked hurt. "That is so mean."

With the small pout playing on her lips, looking like an adorable puppy, Matt sighed and walked the few steps over to her. Placing his hands on her shoulders and looking down at her, he said, "I'm only joking. You deserve it and more." Before Aria could reply to his kind words, he quickly kissed her on the forehead and thrust a robe in her arms. "Now have your well deserved relaxing bath, and then we can have a cheesy romantic dinner and be a cheesy and romantic couple."

Aria smiled and ushered him out of the bathroom. "Fine, I'll relax, then I'll get dressed and be all pretty."

"You're always pretty." He simply replied before closing the door, seperating them both.

Aria smiled to herself, loving the way he always spoke to her when they were alone. Yes, he acted like his usual childish self, but he also had that hidden romantic and sweet side of him, that only Aria got to see. And she loved it.

As Aria's body was submerged in the warm, bubbly water, her thoughts yet again wandered to her relationship. It had been strongly going on for about two months, and their friendship for many more. At first, Aria would have never seen herself dating someone she met online. She would have never believed that the actor who played a character in one of her favourite books would be the one she ended up being in a relationship with.

The connection that she shared with Matt was strong. It was to the fact that she couldn't bare to be parted from him. Whenever Kat and Em would occasionally pull her away from him for a 'girls night out', taking her drinking or wherever, her body would be with them, but her mind would be elsewhere. Before Matt, her phone would usually be left to the side. It wasn't always in her hands. But now, it hardly ever leaves her fingertips, with her constantly texting him.

Although two months may have seemed like a short time; like a flower just beginning to grow out its shoot, a small spark before the big explosion, she already felt like her feelings towards Matt weren't just a likeness anymore. It was more than that. Much more.

The feeling she got inside of her whenever she was around him, practically teared her insides apart. Her heart was constantly fluttering, it's beating erratic.

With all the relationships she had been in before in her life, even the ones where she thought that they were the one, she had never felt like this before. She had never felt this strongly towards someone before.

There was only a single explanation for it.

Aria loved Matt. She was in love with him. She was in love with the childish, yet grown man. The one who was obsessed with kinder eggs, the one who was so devilishly handsome, the one who's dark eyes would captivate her in a stare that would make her go weak at the knees.

She was in too deep, and she couldn't see herself coming out of it anytime soon.

With a sigh, Aria stood up, the cold air hitting her skin as soon as she left the warm bath. Trickles of water cascaded down her bare body, and into the bath. She stepped out and grabbed the robe hanging on the wall, and wrapped herself in its warmth.

Opening the bathroom door, she saw Matt standing shirtless infront of the mirror, holding a shirt up against his body. He stood oblivious, not hearing the bathroom door open. Aria couldn't help but stare at his glorious body. The way the small of his back curved in or the way his biceps bulged, it could send any girl in a frenzy. Although she had seen him shirtless countless times before, she never could get enough of it.

Shaking her head to snap herself out of her daze, she quickly cleared her throat to indicate that she was there. Matt's gaze instantly snapped to her's, eyes widening once he that she was there. "Sorry, we're you waiting long?"

Aria shook her head, her damp locks sending droplets of water to her surroundings. "No, I just came out."

"Well uh," He paused to quickly shrug on a plain tshirt, then turned back to her. "I could leave?"

"No, no it's fine, you can stay, I'll change in the bathroom or something." She rushed to reply, not wanting to kick him out of the room.

His eyes widened at what she said. "What? No way, I'll leave."

Aria groaned. "You know what? Just stay in the room, I don't care if you see me naked or not."

Matt's eyes widened considerably at the last line, his face going red. Flustered, he said, "W-wh-"

Aria sighed. "If it makes you so uncomfortable, or if you would prefer, you could turn around until I atleast wear my underwear and bra. You've seen me in a bikini so what's the difference?"

Matt lightly nodded, body spinning around to face the wall, eyes covered by his hands.

Aria shook her head whilst chuckling at his innocent behaviour. From the bottom of her suitcase, she grabbed the wrapped up bag, that contained the — in Kat's words — underwear for special occasions.

Of course, Kat was insinuating other things.

Aria had decided to wear them, not knowing where this date would take them. You never know, maybe it could happen after all.

After hooking the bra safely in place, she decided that maybe Matt shouldn't see the set of lingerie after all. So, with an apology to Matt for keeping him waiting, she rushed to grab the dress that hung in the
closet, and slipped it on.

(dress will be at the end of the chapter, in case you wanted to see it.)

"Okay, now you can finally turn around."

"I was getting accustomed to the darkness. I was actually beginning to see coloured dots on the inside of my eye- Oh, holy shit."

Aria didn't see Matt's facial expression, as she was busy with getting started on her hair. Fiddling with the hair dryers cables, she stopped in confusion when she had realised that Matt— for once — was completely quiet. With furrowed brows, she twirled on a foot to face him.

His eyes were transfixed on her, mouth slightly jutted open. Aria looked at him in confusion, "Babe? You okay?"

As though he were in a trance, he lightly shook his head at her voice and cleared his throat. "Uh – yeah, I-I'm good. You just look. . . so amazing."

Aria cocked a brow at him, "I look like a mess, all I did was wear a dress."

Matt huffed at her reply. "Let me compliment you."

Aria laughed, shaking her head. She took a seat at the dressing table and began to dry her hair. "What ever you say, baby."

After endless minutes of Matt complaining about Aria taking too long with her hair, Matt complaining that he was hungry, and Matt finally deciding to get changed and wait for Aria to finish getting ready in the lobby, Aria was finally done. She placed her phone, some gum, lipgloss and hotel room keycard in a purse, and turned the door handle to exit the room. She then walked down the hallway and boarded the elevator which took her down to the Lobby of the hotel.

As the metal doors slid open, there stood Matt with a cute grin on his face, and a large bouquet of roses clutched tight in his hand. Aria's face brightened at the cheesy, yet sweet gesture. Once she had stepped out, Matt handed her the bouquet.

"You looked like a bellboy, standing there." Aria remarked once she took the flowers and laced her hand with his.

"Well, I did play one, on-"

"No kiss list, yeah I know." Aria interuppted. Once she saw the shocked look Matt had given her, Aria shrugged. "What? I binged watched all the things you're in with Kat once."

"I feel so special."

"Don't. I binge watched all your sisters movies and shows for days." She remarked jokingly, a laugh rippling out of her once she saw the offended expression across his face.

"Well maybe you should date my sister." He finally said, as they stepped out of the hotel doors and into the night's cold air.

"Oh Matt, the only reason I'm with you is so I can meet your sister and date her. I don't really want you."

With one hand on the black, rented car door's handle, a raised brow and a challenging smirk on his face, he said, "We'll see about that."

"Have I told you how beautiful, you look?"

"Only about a thousand times."

"Well I'll say it again, you are the most beautiful girl I have ever sight eyes on."

With a blush and raised brow, Aria countered, "Ever?"

Matt shook his head with a grin. "Ever."

"So," Aria said, crossing her hands on the table infront of her. "You've never looked at a girl and said, 'wow, she's hot'?"

Inputting a couple of bills into the black leather book, he looked up and shook his head. "I mean, sometimes I say, wow, she's pretty, but not hot or beautiful. Like Em, she's pretty, Kat, she's pretty, but you? You're hot. And besides, most of the time, when I see girls, my mind is on other things."

Aria cocked her perfectly arched brow and bit her lip, refraining her self from smiling. "Like your cows?"

Matt gasped and pointed a taunting finger at her. "Hey, do not mock my love for cows and my dream of having a farm."

"All right, I'm not." She said defensively, hands up in surrender. "Although I'm pretty sure people followed your Instagram for pictures of you and not your farm animals."

"Actually, they follow you for pictures of me because you post so many." He countered.

He and Aria stood up from their seats, bid goodbye to the doorman and walked back out to the chilly air outside.

She laced her hand with Matt's as they walked back to the car. "It's our last night here." She said with a sigh, head leaning against his arm.

"I seriously needed this trip with you. Em and Kat are always stealing you away from me." He said with a sigh.

"Well for a week you've had me, and only me." She stopped as they reached the car, Matt insisting on being the gentleman and opening her car door, then soon rounding to get into his seat.

The drive back to the hotel was sat in a comfortable silence, with the occasional talk here and there. As Matt was solely focused on the road, Aria's gaze was focused on him.

Maybe because she was too busy with eating, or fussing over her dress and whether it was dirty or not, to realise how hot he really looked in the suit he was wearing. Or how hot he looked right now period. He grew out his stubble, which Aria always loved way more than his clean face, the couple of top buttons were undone, revealing small amounts of his chest.

Suddenly, she feeling of desire and longing washed over her. Shifting in her seat, she coughed awkwardly and turned her head to look out the window instead of at him.

"Are you okay?" Matt asked, his gaze shifting from the roads ahead to her.

She nodded, a little too quickly, and sank down in her seat. "I'm fine."

The rest of the car ride was spent in silence, with Matt softly humming to the song playing on the radio, and Aria trying her best to refrain herself from ripping Matt's clothes of right then and there. She didnt know what was with the sudden desire, or why this had never happenef before apart from tonight, but she didnt care.

After all, that is why Kat went out of her way to buy her the very lingerie she was wearing tonight.

The elevator door dinged and it's doors slid open. The couple stepped out into theor hallway, their hotel room door merely a couple of feet away. "So, um, I was thinking," He said, slotting in the keycard which simultaneously opened the door. "Maybe tomorrow we could-"

Aria wasted now time in fulfilling her desires, but immediately pushing Matt against the wall as soon as the door opened, and smashing her lips against his. In surprise, his hands lay limply by his side, lips unresponsive. But soon, his hands gripped her hips, lips moving roughly against hers.

Unlike the usual passionate kisses they both shared, this one was different. It was filled with hunger and lust, their bodies curving into one another's for more friction, needing each other.

Her hands pushed the black blazer off his shoulders, fingers soon beginning to undo the buttons of his white shirt. His hands lowered down her hips to under her dress, gripping the bare skin of her thighs. She moaned lowly against his lips, curving her body even closer.

Next thing they both knew, Aria's dress was on the floor, along with Matt's shirt and trousers, leaving the pair in just their under garments. "Are you sure?" Matt softly asked, as Aria, who was straddling his lap kissed his jaw.

Her head came up, her piercing grey-blue eyes staring into his. "I love you, Matt. And I want you. I want this. I want to take our relationship to another level."

Matt's heart clenched at the 3 simple words she had just uttered. Three simple words, that held so much meaning. Those three words had just changed everything between them. Their relationship now seemed more serious; with more love and more passion.

He too, loved her. He knew it for a long time, but in this moment, he was sure of it. He knew, from that moment when they first met at Emeraude's party, that this girl would change his life. And she did.

With a hand on her cheek, and another on her bare back, he whispered, "I love you too."

And so, for the rest of the night, their sweaty bodies grinded against each other, moans of love and pleasure filling the air, without a care in the world whether the people in the rooms next door heard them or not.

In this moment of intimacy, everyone was blocked out.

It was just the both of them.
