"Hello?" I answered the phone.

"Hey, it's me." I recognized Luke's voice.

"Oh hi Luke, why did you call me?"

"Luke's not my name remember? And I don't know I just felt like talking and you were the first person I thought of."

"Oh okay SoonOld, what do you want to talk about?"

"It's not SoonOld either... Anything really."

"Whatever, how's your fav group doin' lately?"

"We're preparing for a comeback and I've been very busy that's why I haven't called in a while."

" What? you're busy stalking them?"

"Won't you ever believe me?"

"I need a very good proof."

"Let's face call."

"But my face-"

"You don't have to show it if you don't want to."

"Alright then."

"Wait I'll add your contact number so I can start a call..."

"Okay."

"Alright I'll hang up and call you on FaceTime."

He hung up and just a few seconds later he called back. I placed my phone in a way we wouldn't see my face in the screen but I could still see him.

When the connection was made I could see Hoshi's face and I was like omg.

"Is it picture?" I asked in disbelief.

"Do I take that as a compliment?" he asked.

"I guess so? Move a little you look too unreal."

He smiled and moved his head side to side.

"Okay I believe you." I said.

"Really!?" He said excitedly.

"Yeah."

"Yayy!"

"Umm let's hang up now."

"Why?"

"I mean you probably have to practice right?"

I was actually regretting everything I said before. Like he's probably judging me right now. Oops?

"No I have a day off today since we worked so hard in the past week." He replied.

"Ohh... by the way, why did you say carat last time?" I asked.

"When?"

"I was like: go to sleep because it was 2am and you said 'I'll go to sleep for you carat' or something like that."

"Oh that? Carat are what we call Seventeen fans." He smiled.

"I'm not a fan..?"

"You're a soon to be fan :) "

"I've heard that once you get into the K-Pop fandom, you can't get out. I'm not sure if I wanna try.." I said

"Well that's not a complete lie" he laughed.

"But it's just because you'll be amazed by all the great artists of kpop. American pop has great artists too tho." He then said.

"I guess so? I should check out some more songs then." I replied.

"Yes yes you should."

"That sounded creepy."

"What?"

"You said it in a come-in-the-van-there-is-some-candies-in-there-don't-worry-it-won't-be-long way."

He started laughing.

"You have so much imagination omg."

"Yes I know I'm an artist."

"I know you didn't want to, but it's kinda boring to see your ceiling, would you mind showing me your face?" He asked

"Yes I would." I replied.

He did that 'are you kidding me' face. -> --'

"Do you usually answer or call fans just like that? " I changed the subject.

"No, well sometimes I do answer calls, but I don't usually call fans myself."

"Why did you call me today then?"

"Hmm I don't know? You're fun to talk to even if you're hard headed."

"Well that was a not-so-compliment in the end, but thanks anyway. It's not everyday that someone finds me 'fun'. " I said.

"Hmm? What about your friends then?"

"They're limited to like two person?"

"Am I counted?" He asked.

"Huh no."

"Why? I'm your friend!" He gave cute smile.

"We met like 2 weeks ago you know?"

"Yeah? That's enough to become friend with someone." He replied.

"That's when you're not me. I take a lot of time to give my trust."

"Oh I feel like that's familiar ..? Oh right, you wouldn't believe I was the actual Hoshi during 2 weeks." He said sarcastically.

"You still angry or what?"

"No, just saying I'm used to it."

"Huh okay?"

"And you know I'll be persistent right? I'll make you trust me so we can be friends. If you tell me one secret or something, that means you would trust me, is that a deal?" He said.

"I thought I said I'd buy you a new dictionary?"

"Nah I'm good, already have mine. So is that a deal?"
