55. Dessert
Sunhee's point of view
My eyes roamed around, letting it sink in that I was standing inside such an expensive restaurant. It screamed rich money, the way royal blue curtains fell at each side of the windows, the way a huge chandelier hung from the ceiling, and the way everyone looked so fucking rich.
Of course, it was Restaurant Cher.
One of the most expensive restaurants in Paris. It was bound to be fucking classy and expensive to fit the taste of these rich people.
I did my research on a few things during the time I rot in bed. A list of restaurants happened to be one of them, and no matter how much I heard and saw this restaurant all over the internet, I never expected to come here.
A beautiful olive dress fitted perfectly on my body, as if it was made for me. My hair was kept loose as usual, and my makeup consisted of minimal eyeshadow and bold lipstick— just how I liked it. The diamond choker and YSL heel I bought earlier completed the look.
I glanced beside me, and the second I looked at my handsome boyfriend my stomach convulsed and my eyes became heart shaped, not literally but yeah. God, he looked so handsome— he wasn't wearing anything new. Just his usual suit with tie, and leather shoes. As usual, he smelled like English roses and I was getting addicted to his smell.
I was getting addicted to him.
I know, it was too early to say something like this but fuck it. I was raised by Zade Meadows, what do you expect from me?
We stopped in front of the reception, the receptionist greeted us in French, and my boyfriend said something, pretty sure, regarding our reservation. She nodded and led us to our table. Once she was gone, my boyfriend looked at me, and gave me a smile that melted my heart, melted me and if I was in those old Tom and Jerry cartoons I would have been a melted puddle of mess.
Seokjin pulled my chair, motioning me to sit. I gave him a soft smile as I sat, masking how my hammering was heart felt. It dawned too late that I was smitten, especially ever since I started dating him like 48 hours ago.
How pathetic can a human be? Ask Master Sam Sunhee.
Seokjin sat in front of me, and he opened the menu. I copied his action, opening the menu. I tried to decipher what was written on the menu, and gave up.
Why bother to stress myself when I've my translator?
While Seokjin was going through the menu, a waiter came and poured us water. And he stood there, expecting us to order.
“What would you like to order, love?” Seokjin asked, so innocently. But it made my eyes wide. Wide as fuck, and my mouth parted as my brain scrambled. My heart hammered and my stomach convulsed, butterflies flapped their wings and caused a storm all over my body. If I had the power to stop time, I'd do it right now and then scream my heart out while dancing and crying and laughing. All together, at once.
“Anything is fine.” I let out, my voice a little high pitched. Seokjin looked up from the menu, his eyes met mine and I swear to god I stopped breathing.
“They're serving raw steak, would you like to indulge?”
“Sure, I like raw.” I realized my words after they escaped my mouth. Seokjin's eyes widened, and I saw his knuckles turning white, poor menu.
I wish I could be me.
“Sunhee.” There was a warning in his voice, which made me scared, and made me curious about what would happen if I just simply ignored his warning. It turned me on too but we are not talking about it since it's not the right place and time to be horny.
What the fuck, I'm Sam Sunhee. I don't care about the time, and place of being horny.
“I meant food.” I replied, “I swear I didn't mean to put it that way.” I covered it up with nothing but truth.
“Steak or chicken or seafood?” He asked.
Your steak. “Chicken please.”
He nodded and gave our order to the waiter. He put the menu aside and looked at me. His intense stare flustered me.
“What are you looking at?” I asked.
“My girlfriend.” If only I could scream my heart out. “She's looking so pretty, I can't help but stare.”
“If you haven't been in my pants, I'd say you're trying to get in my pants.
“I'm trying to get in your head. Does that count?” he grinned. Out of all the shades of Seokjin I've seen, the flirt one was the really hard one to handle.
“Jeez,” I looked away, my cheeks flushed and my body hot.
“What? Out of all witty remarks?” He asked, knowing he was winning this little game.
“Careful Mr. Kim, you'd be out of all witty remarks and this attitude when I get under the table.” Hearing my words his grin disappeared, and what was left on his face was a surprise.
“Sunhee,” another warning, which made me wonder if there is a 3rd strike rule like all those smut oneshots I read. Hopefully.
“What?” It was my turn to grin in victory. “Can’t handle a simple threat?”
“It surprises me how your life revolves around one thing. This is what youngsters do nowadays instead of doing respectful and sane things. Like perhaps indulge in a heartfelt conversation once, have you tried it?” He asked me as he unfolded the napkin and placed it on his lap.
“Wow, that was offensive.”
“Nu apologies, I didn't mean to be offensive while stating something so obvious.” The sarcasm was so obvious it made me smile.
“Matter of fact, I do engage in heartfelt conversation the best when my airflow is restricted.” His cheeks went red, and I grinned again. “So much dirty talking for a man who made me cum eight times in the span of twenty four hours.” I teased and Seokjin's ear went red.
God he's the same man who fuck me to heaven and back.
“God, sometimes you infuriate me.”
“Do I? Does that turn you on?”
“Sunhee.”
“It means it does.” I smirked, while he glared at me with his red ears. I don't why he was so
“What will it take for you to talk like a normal person?” He sighed, a small smile playing on his lips.
“Hmm,” I hummed as I extended, slowly intertwining my fingers with his. His eyes slightly widened, my sudden action took him off guard. I smiled, finding it hilarious. “I don't know, do you have anything in mind?”
His fingers tightened, his thumb caressing my hand. “I don't usually go on dates,” He said. “And I’m not a person who'd ask people what their favorite color is.” I playfully scoffed.
“You look like meet and fuck type of dude.” I rolled my eyes.
“Are you calling me a fuckboy?” He grinned and pulled our intertwined hands— and kissed my hand. And my heart stopped. It completely stopped, and restarted. I let out a shaky breath when he looked at me with those eyes. “Do I look like a fuckboy?”
Please lord, have mercy on me. Please I'm not your strongest soldier and I will, most definitely, sin if this man keeps testing my patience.
“Yes,’’
“Come on, that's not entirely true.” He smiled.
I rolled my eyes, looking away from him because I couldn't handle how beautiful he looked when he smiled. I always say I love to see him smile, how his plump lips stretched, and how magnificent he looked, shining like a moon in a dark sky, beaming like a star— he was like a yellow in the sea of blue.
He was my yellow.
Made me realize, once again, how deeply I was in love with this man. I haven't defined the love I've for him, for I believe there is no definition of love and we define our love. But I still love this man. I just love him, I was knee deep in the quicksand of his love. Sinking deeper I spend time with him, and love every second of it.
Wow, when did I become a poet? Damn, this is what love does to you? Make you a simp?
“Ask me a question.” I asked, moving my gaze away from him or else I'll keep staring at him. “Anything you wish to know.”
“That's basically 20 questions,” He said.
“Well, genius, what do you want to do on this date?” I shook my head.
“Hmm, tell me your favorite core memory. Can be from your childhood, or teenage or anything.” He asked, and that dumb smile I had on my face vanished as my mind played those memories. As if his harmless words trigger those awful memories to unleash.
Flames. Smokes. Cries. Screams.
“I— I actually grew up at an orphanage.” I lied, trying hard to forget the taste of smoke and ashes. “I don't have much memory of my childhood.” Another lie. Seokjin's smile fell, his fingers tightened around mine, and immediately withdrew my hand.
I didn't need sympathy I didn't deserve.
I didn't look at Seokjin, knowing well his eyes would be filled with this disgusting sympathy.
“Sunhee—”
“Oh look, the food is here.” I cut Seokjin, and didn't want to talk about this at all. The waiter placed starters in front of us, and without looking at him, I dug into the food. I hummed at the taste of food. “This is delicious.” I tried to talk, hoping to make up for the awkward atmosphere I created.
“It is, I love this restaurant.” I looked at him. His face was devoid of sympathy and it made me feel much better. I took a sigh of relief and dug in my food.
I mean, it's not everyday you eat at a 5 star restaurant.
“Tell me, what else do you love?” It was an effort to get us back in the lovey dovey mood I ruined.
“Not many people know, but I love eating food. I love it when I try different dishes and cuisines. Also, I love photography, occasionally playing piano.” I smiled stupidly as he listed out the things he loves, and for some reason I felt so special because I knew this was a side of Seokjin not many would know.
“Not me?” I asked teasing.
“Especially you.”
If I die right now, I die stupidly happy.
“Awfully cheesy but I love it.” I smiled as I ate my food. “I guess romance is in the air.” I looked around to see couples, so many. I looked back at Seokjin, who lost his smile and a neutral look resided on his face.
“Better enjoy this date, because this might be the last time we would be having a public date, unless we are out of Korea. That also depends.” My face fell at his statement.
“Why?” I asked, drinking the wine.
“You're a model, under my label. We can't be seen together, especially just the two of us. And, soon you'll be popular, and your popularity won't be limited to Korea. That's why we won't be having any public dates anymore.” Seokjin announced. And as much as his words made absolute sense, it made me feel hollow at the thought of not being able to freely spend my time with him.
“You're right,’’ he was, he was mature. Of course this idea crossed him and not me because I was too high in love.
“That does mean we won't be having any more dates.” Seokjin must have been disappointed in my tone. Once again he held my hand in his, “They just have to be planned, and private.” I smiled. “We need to make sure we have the least possible dates so the chances of getting caught ultimately lessen. And the dates either need to be private with no to less public eye.” I frowned. I sometimes hate how correct he was.
“Yeah.” I nodded absentmindedly and cut the piece of chicken, eating it as I thought of so many things.
“You can't afford to have any scandal, that also a dating scandal with the CEO of the modeling agency you're in.” He grabbed my hand, “I hope you're understanding where I'm coming from.”
“I'm, I know where you're coming from.” I nodded.
“Also, I know you're smart enough but I still feel like mentioning this.” He put the fork down, picking up his wine glass. “No one should know about our relationship. This should have included your two friends but you were too fast to spread the information.” Seokjin looked at me and I narrowed my eyes. “I'll make them sign an NDA either way, but I can't do that for everyone. So be mindful of who you share your private details with.”
“I trust them,” I said. “They would never do anything to break my trust.” Seokjin raised eyebrows, making me roll my eyes.
“This is a serious matter, and you might trust them but not me. I don't even trust them regarding Hayoon and Taehyung.” I shook my head.
“Look, if they wanted nasty things would have happened. But it didn't, so you don't have to worry about them.”
“I'll make them sign an NDA. And the only people who should know about us are your three friends, mine, and Hayoon. Our relationship should be private at all costs, I know my friends are artists themselves with their private lives. I'm not worried about them, and Taehyung is dating Hayoon. What I'm worried about is the others.”
“You talk as if I have more friends.” I rolled my eyes.
“Sunhee.” I looked at Seokjin, and at that moment he sounded like someone who'd like to be in control, and not in a good way. I know he was right, and he needed assurance. I understand why he was so pressed on this matter because it was crucial. One slip out and it can ruin my newly born career. And I was the one who'd get the most damage if anything happened.
Fuck him for being right.
“Fine.” I replied, even though I didn't want to agree with him. “I'll have a proper time with them too, just in case.”
“Good.” He sipped his wine. “And please, learn how to keep your gossip low.”
I scoffed. “You're pissing me off.” I grabbed my fork a little too hard.
That serious look was wiped off from his face and a lazy grin played on his lips. “Do I? Does that turn you on?”
I scoffed as he used my words on me. I looked at him, wanting nothing but to wipe his sly grin off his face by any means, by pulling his hair or grabbing his jaw and kissing him.
He is turning me on.
I smirked as I grabbed my wine glass, sipping as I looked at him. “You are.” Seokjin's smile was flattering, he wasn't expecting me to flirt back. Impossible.
“Oh yeah?” He asked.
“Yeah,” I replied, slowly moving my leg under the table, until my heel touched his leather shoe. I trailed my heel on his leg, smiling when his smile disappeared. He grabbed the edge of the table as he looked at me with wide eyes.
“Cut it.” He spoke as he trailed my leg up, touching his thigh.
“What will you do if you don't?” I asked as I made lazy patterns on his thighs.
“You'll regret it.”
“Oh yeah?” I asked and dug my heel into his thigh, enough to make him hiss.
“Sunhee.”
“I love it when you say my name,” I grinned as I moved my leg dangerously close to his crotch. My smirk widened, “My my, are you hard Seokjin?” I taunted as my foot met his semi hard erection. His ear flushed red, as he glared at him. “Just with my heel?” I asked as I pressed his hard on.
A choke moan almost escaped his mouth, but he hid it behind a curt cough. His eyes scanned around, looking around to see if anyone noticed. And once he was sure nobody saw anything his eyes settled on me.
“You're in so much trouble?” He hissed, I couldn't figure out if he was horny, angry or embarrassed.
“Aw, I'm so terrified.” I mocked him, and rubbed my foot on his hard on, feeling him growing harder as the seconds passed. He groaned, and his hand found his face, covering his red face. Another went under and grabbed my leg, moving away from his bulge.
“That's enough.” He ordered, his voice graveled.
I pouted. “That's it?” I taunted, barely able to hide my smirk. He glared at me. “Eat the rest of your dinner with a very uncomfortable erection.” I laughed at Seokjin, who, if animated, would have fumes coming out from his ears.
“Dinner ends here.” Seokjin announced, making me confused. Before I could say anything he called the waiter, telling him to bring the bill.
“But dessert—” I tried to speak but he cut me off.
“I'll be having it soon.” It was my turn to flush. I remained quiet as I saw him paying the bill, I didn't even ask how much it was, too busy to imagine how I would get fucked in a few minutes.
Or should I fuck him?
“Get up.” Seokjin ordered, and stood up. My eyes immediately went where they shouldn't and I laughed.
“It's all your fault,” he hissed as he grabbed my arm, and led me to the exit. A little too fast, and I knew why. We soon reached the limo, yes, a fucking limo. At this point nothing fazed me.
He opened the door, and I got inside, followed by him. Once we said that, the driver started the car, moving towards our hotel room. I looked at Seokjin who was removing his coat, while looking at me.
“What are you looking at?” I asked, knowing well what the answer was. He didn't reply but removed his tie, and grabbed my hands. My eyes were wide when he tied my hands, enough to restrict their movement.
“Dessert.”
