Uttara P.O.V

My eyes widened as it meet his green eyes, he looked at me blankly. I was happy that I finally encounter him, I have been gathering courage to talk to him, to tell him what's in my heart. "I came here to talk to you" I responded to him, he folded his arms across his chest and looked at me with an unreadable expression on his face. "What do you want to talk about?" he asked, I took a deep breath, this is my chance to fight for my happiness. "I called off the wedding" I started, he gave a short laugh.

"I know".

Oh, Prince Abhimanyu must have told everyone by now if he knows about it. I sighed "There was a reason I didn't want to marry because I am in love with someone else" I said, my eyes meeting his again, his eyes flashed with hurt but it was gone in a blink. "I already know that" he said blankly, my eyes widened, I thought Prince Abhimanyu won't share this information to anyone but I was wrong, maybe his kshatriya pride got hurt and he thought of getting back at me by telling it to everyone. I shouldn't care now, everything is out in open now and that is best for everyone. "So what is your motive of coming here?" he said and then his eyes slide down to my wet clothes and he raised his eyebrow "That too in this condition!" he questioned me, I glanced at my clothes and shut my eyes sheepishly. "It was urgent, I had to talk to you" I responded opening my  eyes. He looked confused "What is it that you didn't tell me when I met you?" he asked unfolding his arms and letting them on his side. Well because I wasn't certain about my feeling when I met him. He gave out a sigh "Okay, tell me now" he asked when I didn't respond to his previous question.

It's now or never! 

"I am here to tell you the person's name who stole my heart" I said taking deep breath and conjuring enough strength to tell him. He winched visibly but waited for me to finish. I was confused with his responses. Am I the only one feeling this? 

"Its--" I opened my mouth to say his name, just then Lord Krishna entered in the room interrupting me "Here you are son, your father wants to talk to you" he said smiling, then his fell on me and he gave me a smile, I smiled back slowly but internally I sighed at the intervention, I finally gathered the courage to talk about my feelings but I am not getting the opportunity. "What are you doing here, Princess Uttara?" Lord Krishna asked me. I looked at him, he seemed amused by something. "She is here to talk to me" Mysterious Prince responded before I could say anything to him. Lord Krishna turned his head away and looked at the Prince, smile still adorned on his face. "As you say son" he said, Lord Krishna looked at me smiling in joy "But finish it as soon as you can, Parth is waiting for you" he said and gave us both his divine smile and went out, I was still staring at the door from where he exit. 

He is Shrutakarma! son of Maharathi Arjun

"What is the name of the mysterious Prince?" Prince Shrutakarma asked again, my shocked eyes meet his, how will Prince Abhimanyu take it when he get to know that I am in love with his brother. I sighed, it is time, forget about the consequences and listen to your heart only.

"It's YOU" I finally let it out, my heart felt light as I told him. Different emotions crossed over his face- shock, confusion, happiness. He controlled his emotions and clenched his jaw "What are you saying?" he asked. I took a breath "I am in love with you from the day I saw you, you stole my heart and I only think about you that's why I broke the marriage with Prince Abhimanyu because I couldn't marry him knowing that my heart belong to you" I explained myself. 

"Have you seen Prince Abhimanyu ever?" he asked astonished. I slowly shook my head, I have never seen him, just hear his voice. Suddenly smile broke on his face and he started laughing. "It is unbelievable" he muttered under his breath. I frowned, my feelings are genuine for him.

"I am here to know about your feelings" I said, he stopped laughing and composed himself, I couldn't read his expression. "Do you know who I am?" he asked, dodging my question, I frowned and nodded my head "You are Prince Shrutakarma, son of Maharani Draupadi and Gandivdhari Arjun" I replied to him. A smile appeared on his face and he slowly shook his head. "So, Princess Uttara, you broke your marriage because you are in love with me" he asked again in confirmation, I bit my lip and nodded again. "What about you?" I asked him.

"What about me?" he questioned back with raised eyebrow.

"Do you have feelings for me?"

I heard footsteps coming our way, he does get lots of visitor. He looked at the door then at me "I will meet you at midnight in the same place" he quickly said and ran out of the room to see the visitor. I was confused with his behavior, why can't he tell me now. Is he confused about his feelings?

"Greetings, Mother" I heard his voice from outside. My eyes widened, if his mother sees me here in this condition, what will she think of me. I have to go. With that thought I hide myself in his room and waited for them to go away so that I can get out of here and go back to my home. I heard their retreat footsteps. I quickly walked out of the room and ran towards the front door, finally getting out of the city.

I just have to wait till midnight!

Abhimanyu P.O.V

"It's YOU"

I was stunned at her confession, my mouth opened in shock, then confusion took over, if she loved me then why did she deny to marry me but happiness overcoming other emotions. I was more than happy to know that she loves me the way I love her. My broken heart started mending by her words. I clenched my jaw to stop the smile that was threatening to appear on my face "What are you saying?" I asked her, I have to be fully sure about her feelings, my heart is tender right now. She took a long breath gathering her thoughts. "I am in love with you from the day I saw you, you stole my heart and I only think about you that's why I broke the marriage with Prince Abhimanyu because I couldn't marry him knowing that my heart belong to you" She explained, I frowned, Prince Abhimanyu?, why is she referring me as third person, Didn't she know that I am Prince Abhimanyu.

"Have you seen Prince Abhimanyu ever?" I asked her slowly, my heart was beating faster. She shook her head and the smile I was stopping finally appeared on my face "It is unbelievable" I murmured to myself, She loves me, ME and that's why she broke her wedding with me. Her face fell as she looked at me. She is thinking that I don't reciprocate the feeling but she is so wrong, I fell for her when my eyes met her for the first time. I asked her about my identity, if she doesn't know me then what I am to her, I chuckled internally when she told me that I am Shrutakarma, she thinks that I am my brother. 

"Do you have feelings for me?" She asked me in serious voice. She asked me this question before but I was in my own thoughts and thinking about all the encounter we had in past. When I went to her chamber, she was behind the curtain so she couldn't see me and she hasn't seen me before as well that's why she didn't know that the person she was marrying and the person she is in love with are same person. I opened my mouth to answer her, I will clear her confusion and then everything will be fine. Just then I heard foot steps and the fragrance of nature, Mother is coming this way. I have to talk to Mother alone as well. I looked at Uttara softly, she was looking at the door with a small frown on her face. Oh how much I love her. 

"I will meet you at midnight in the same place" I quickly said and moved towards the door without waiting for her response, I have to talk to Mother and if she sees Uttara here, she is going to burst out without hearing my explanation. When I went outside I saw Uncle Krishna talking to Mother just a little distance away from my chamber. I sighed in relief, he stopped her before she could come and see Uttara here. Uncle looked at me and gave me a subtle wink. He always have my back, I walked towards my Mother "Greetings, Mother" I said joining my hands together, she looked at me, her eyes were red, my face twisted in pain. I did this to her and now I am going to make everything better. But first we have to go from here so that Uttara can go to her home. 

"Mother, can we talk?" I asked her, she gave me a quick nod and started walking towards my chamber. My face paled and I quickly stood in front of her "Can we talk in your chamber!" I said suddenly, she looked at me in confusion "Little warrior, are you fine" she asked touching my forehead, I pulled her hand in mine "Yes Mother, I am fine" I said glancing at Uncle who nodded his head with a smile "Prakrite, Parth is there waiting for Abhimanyu, let's go, we should talk there" he said taking one of Mother's arm and pulling her towards her chamber. She looked at us and sighed "I know something is up with you two" she said which wiped the smile on my face, I forget my Mother is nature herself. I chuckled nervously "Everything is fine, Mother" I said.

"Yes, dear sister, everything is fine now" Uncle Krishna said in content and we started walking towards my parents chamber.

We reached Mother's chamber, she pulled her hands away from us and put it on her waist. She gave both of us 'look', Uncle Krishna quickly pulled innocent expression on his face. "What is happening behind my back?" she asked sternly, I looked at Uncle for help who was staring outside the window like he wasn't involve in this. I sighed and shook my head slowly, I opened my mouth to tell Mother everything, she put her hand in front of her. "I am not asking to you" she said then she turned towards Uncle. "Brother, you tell me" she asked him, he slowly moved his head towards her and looked wide eyed. "Prakrite, I don't know what you are talking about, ask Little warrior here" he said and gave me a quick glance. Mother scoffed at him "So, you don't know that you went with little warrior to Virata castle and then Princess Uttara came here to meet him and she is in his chamber that's why he didn't let me in his chamber" She said with raised eyebrow and with a small smirk. My mouth gaped opened as Uncle started chuckling in nervous.

"Nothing can be hidden from nature" he said with a smile. 

"Mother" I started saying, she came towards me and put her hand on my cheek careering it, I closed my eyes, tears appearing in the back of my eyes. I hurt her so much and she is still smiling at me. "It's time you tell me everything" she said as I opened my eyes and I nodded my head. I know she already know everything by now but she needs to know from me.

"It's started when I went to the Virata's garden" I started.

Finally, Abhimanyu got to know Uttara's true feeling and one part of confusion is over. Prakriti know something is cooking. We will see in the future!
