I was sitting in my room quietly when Badi maa entered.. I greeted her and asked her to have a seat... She then told me that she had brought a gift for me and wants me to wear it.. It was a beautiful pair of gold earrings.. I took that as she said it was her blessings , and wore it.. She then left my room...
It was after sometime that Raghbir sir entered my room.. He was in not such good mood.. He came to me to have some talk.. But when he saw those earrings, the colour of his face changed.. I don't know what happened to him but whatever it was, it hurted me..

Raghbir - Tumhe ye earrings kaha se mile.. Ohh mere wardrobe se.. Right... Pragati tumhaari himmat kaise hui ye jhumke pehenne ki.. Tumhe pata bhi hai kiske jhumke hai ye.. Are ye earrings maine Misha ke liye rakhe the.. Mai ye use humari shaadi waale din dena chahta tha..!!! But you.. I didn't expected ki tum kuch bhi kahi se bhi utha lo..!! Kholo isse abhi ki abhi.. Did you understand..?? Kholo..!!!!!

Raghbir's pov.

I love her.. And I know very well that she cannot do anything wrong. But she did.. I am so angry on her that she wore Misha's earrings.. Misha was my girlfriend to whom I was marrying. But that girl didn't loved me..She just loved my money so she fled with some other guy on the day of our marriage..I was heartbreak but then Pragati came into my life.. I was married to her forcefully... But she is such a sweetheart that she made a stone hearted man to fall for her... I am not shouting on her because she wore Misha's earring and hurted me..It is just that I cannot compare Pragati with Misha.. I don't want to give Misha's place to Pragati because the place that Pragati holds in my heart is the topmost of all..

Pragati - I'm sorry...(opened the earrings and kept on the bed) Mai ye jhumke nahi pehenti agar mujhe pata hota ki Misha ke hai.. Mujhe nahi chahiye apke Misha ki jagah.. Aree aapko itni hi problem hai na mujhse... Theek hai toh lo mai chali jaati hu... (took her purse and started left the room crying)

Pragati without answering anyone's question ran outside the house and directly went to her house where she lived with her uncle aunt before her marriage..

Raghbir was in her room.. He went to his room and started drinking... After he was completely drunk.. Someone entered his room.. It was Badi maa.. She has some papers in her hand.. She went to Raghbir..

Badi maa - Beta... Ye kuch papers hai sign kar de...

Raghbir - (alcoholic tone)Badi maa abhi peene do kabhi aur...

Badi maa - Raghbir zaroori kaam hai karde na sign...

Raghbir - Do yaar...(He signed the papers)

Badi maa - Ab tu rest kar...

Pragati's side..

Pragati entered the house crying and told her uncle aunt everything..

P/a - Aree maine toh kahaa hi tha ki tumhaara vo Raghbir pagal hai... Ab lo nikaal diya ghar se kaha jayegi ab...

P/u - Aree humare paas rahegi..
Aur agar tujhe uss insaan se chhutkara chahiye toh hum teri shaadi kahi aur tay kar dete hai..

Pragati - Nahi chachu aise kaise kahi aur shaadi karlu.. Abhi bhi Raghbir sir husband hi hai mere...

Suddenely there was a knock on the door.. Pragati opened the door and found Badi maa standing there..

Pragati - Badi maa aap..??

Bm - Haa beta mai...

Pragati - Badi maa sorry vo mai aise aa gayi par abhi mai wapas nahi aaungi.. Abhi mujhe thodi der akela rehna hai..

Bm - Koi baat nahi beta.. Mai jaanti hu tum wapas nahi aaogi aur mai chahti bhi yahi hu..

Pragati - Mt..Mtlb..??

Bm - Ye lo..(giving her some papers) Sign kardena aur phir tumhaara hum sab se rishta khatam.. Are pata nahi devraj aur aditi ko kya bhoot chadh gaya tha jo Raghbir ki shaadi tum jaisi middle class ladki se karaa di.. But now... Sign this paper... Aur phir tumhaara aur Raghbir ka rishta khatam..!!

Pragati - Divorce papers..(shocked expression) Wo bhi Raghbir sir ke sign ke saath..

P/a - Haa toh theek hai hume bhi nahi rakhna koi rishta... Sign karde beta..!!

Pragati (thinking) - Agar Raghbir sir iss rishtey mein rehna nahi chahte toh mai unhe zabardasti kaise baandh sakti hu.. Agar isi mein unki khushi hai toh yahi sahi...

Pragati takes a pen and signs the paper...

Bm - Mubaarak ho.. Ab finally mai Raghbir ki shaadi ek high status wali ladki se karaa sakungi... Toh ab ye papers apne hi paas rakho kyuki mujhe iski koi zaroorat nahi hai...

Raghbir was sleeping when suddenely he felt something bad and got up with a jerk.. He looked around and saw that he was in his room..Sleeping...
He remembered that he shouted badly on Pragati few hours ago.. He thought of apologising to her when Nakul entered his room..

Nakul - Bro bhabhi abhi tak nahi aayi.. Dopeher ho chuki hai...Aapne bina kuch soche samjhe unhe itna kuch bol diya.. Bhai aapko pta hai Badi maa ne bhabhi ko vo earrings diye the... I understand ye baat jitni chhoti lagti hai utni hai nahi.. Aapke emotions jude hai isse.. But bhai aapko bhabhi ke bhi emotions ke baare mein sochna chahiye tha na.. Now aap jaa kar unhe manaa kar laane waale ho...

Raghbir - Mai jaa raha hu Nakul wait... Pata nahi uss time kya hogya tha mujhe jo maine itni buri tarah se react kardiya..
Usse maafi maangni hai aur usse kuch batana bhi hai mujhe...

He got up and took the car's keys and went out...

Raghbir pressed the bell ring... Pragati's uncle came out...

Raghbir - Uncle vo Pragati kaha hai mujhe baat karni hai usse..

Uncle - Kis haq se baat karni hai.. Ab aapke paas koi bhi wajah nahi hai usse baat karne ki.. Koi haq nahi hai jo aap Pragati se baat kare... Use nahi karni hai aapse baat toh please yaha se chale jaaiye... (shuts the door)

Raghbir - Yaar ye log kya bol rahe hai.. Pragati biwi hai meri mujhe uspar poora haq hai.. Mujhe Pragati se baat karni hogi...

Pragati's pov.
Shaam ho gayi.. I can't believe ab mere aur Raghbir sir ke beech koi rishta nahi reh gaya hai.. Kitna accha tha kal tak sab. Bhale hi husband wife jaisa nahi par dost jaisa rishta toh ban gaya tha na humara.. Ye sab (crying)

I didn't realized when I slept while crying.. I was hurt, indeed hurt and I decided to move on.

Suddenly Raghbir got inside her room sneakingly and he found her sleeping. Her face was strained with tears and his broke his heart.. He moved forward and suddenely Pragati got up..

Pragati - sir aap? (Stands up)

Raghbir - Pragati meri baat suno..

Pragati - Chale jaaiye yaha se.. Koi baat nahi sunni mujhe aapki..

Raghbir - Pragati please listen to me.. Ek baar meri baat sunlo.!!

Pragati - Kyu sunu mai aapki baat?!

Raghbir - I am sorry Pragati.. Mai uss time gusse mein tha toh pata nahi kya kya bol gaya.. Please mujhe maaf kardo..

Pragati - Gusse mein insaan sach bolta hai.. Vo bolta hai jo uske dil mein hota hai.. Aur waise bhi inn sab baato ka ab koi value nahi reh gaya hai sir..

Raghbir - Pragati tum jaisa samajh rahi ho waisa nahi hai.. Please mujhe maaf kardo aainda aisa kabhi nahi hoga.. Please wapas chalo mere saath..

Pragati - Kis haq se wapas chalu? Na hi mere paas koi haq hai na hi koi wajah.. Aapko maaf karne ki.. It's all over..

Raghbir - What do you mean.. Pragati mai tumhara pati hu..

Pragati - (crying) The.. And aap hi ne iss rishtey ko khatam kiya hai.. Toh mai ab koi nahi hoti aapko maaf karne wali ya aapke saath wapas chalne wali..

Raghbir - Ye kya bol rahi ho Pragati.. Ek behes se humara rishta khatam ho gaya?!

Pragati - Wahi toh mai bhi soch rahi hu.. Ek behes se jo rishta khatam ho gya usme takat hi kitni hogi...Aapko pata hai sir jab sablog aapko mean bol rahe the na, toh mujhe aap mein ek selfless insaan dikh raha tha jo bohot accha hai.. Aur maine socha tha ki koshish karu ki aap ke andar ka vo insaan bahar aaye.. Par I think I am not the right person for this.. Aap please chale jaaiye ab..

Raghbir - Pragati you are my wife..

Pragati - Not anymore.. (takes the divorce paper from the bed and hands it to him) Not any more Mr. Malhotra.. You deserve to be happy in life aur mai bhi aapki khushi mein khush hu.. Please mujhe move on karne dijiye.. Mai bhi kisi aise ke saath jeena chahti hu jo mujhe khush rakhe mujh par bharosa kare aur mujhe samjhe..

Raghbir was shocked to see the divorce papers and what shocked him more was his signatures..

Pragati - Aap sach mein ek high class ladki deserve karte hai.. At least mujhse acchi ladki hi deserve karte hai so go for it.. All the best for your new life sir.. I mean Mr. Raghbir Malhotra.. (goes out of the room crying)

Raghbir - Divorce papers.. Maine toh sign nahi kiye.. (remembers badi maa made him sign some papers) Shit yaar.. Ye badi maa.. Kya dikkat hai yaar sabko meri zindagi se! I don't understand.. But mujhe ek cheez samajh nahi aa rahi.. Ek divorce paper se Pragati ne ye decide karliya ki humara rishta khatam? Feelings, emotions, in sab ka kya?! Ye kya ho raha hai meri zindagi mein..!! (Goes back to his home)

The next day..
Raghbir woke up and saw the place beside him empty.. Not just that he saw it, he felt empty. And he was feeling something is going to happen today..
He thought of calling Pragati but his head was aching, he drank too much yesterday after fighting with Badi maa.. All he needed now was his Pragati. He called her and she received the call at once...

Raghbir - Pragati.. (he was not in much sense)

Pragati could make it up that he was drunk as always.. She replied with a heavy heart.

Pragati - Maine sirf ye batane ke liye call uthaya ki ab aap mujhe call mat kariyega. We have nothing to say about, talk about!

Raghbir - But we do have everything to feel about. I am sorry. Wapas aa jaao na.

Pragati - I..(controlling her tears) All this doesn't matters sir. Bye. Don't call me ever again.

Raghbir - Pra..(Pragati cuts the call) Damn it!( Keeps the phone on bed angrily)

He went inside the washroom and came out after sometime feeling a little better.. He heard Nakul banging his rooms door,so he opened it..

Raghbir - Kya hua Nakul?

Nakul - (teary eyes) Bhabhi shaadi karri..

Raghbir's pov.

I expected Nakul to say something related to Badi maa but the news he gave me made me shocked. I didn't believed my ears at once so I asked his again to confirm but the news remained the same..

Raghbir - Tujhe kisne bola?

Nakul - Bhabhi ke vo uncle aunty ne badi maa ko call par bola aur maine sun li baat.. Vo log nikal chuke hai.. Koi nahi rahega she's getting married pata nahi kisse but xyz jagah pe jo Mandir hai na waha..

Raghbir - (went inside the room and sat on the bed) Ab?! Ab hoga confrontation. Mai bhi dekhta hu kisme kya takat hai!

Screen shifts to the mandir..

Pragati's pov.
Everything is set for the marriage.. Pandit ji is here, the man my uncle aunt wanted me to marry is here, I am here all ready in bridal costume but there was no glow on my face, but all of a sudden we saw one more guy coming.. I didn't expected him to be here..He stepped out of his car and stayed there.. He didn't came close to us, instead he stood there at distance looking directly at me..

P/u - Ye yaha kya kar raha hai! Pandit ji jaldi shaadi shuru kariye! Pragati baith yaha..

Pragati's pov.

I sat beside the man but my eyes were on my man. He.. He was my man but no more..I need to start a new life but I cannot marry someone else in front of the person I love, looking straight into my eyes..

Tears made there way down my eyes but I wiped them instantly before anyone could really see it..

Pandit ji was chanting mantras but suddenly Pragati's glance fell on Raghbir's hand. His palm was bleeding badly. He took a glass in his hand. Pragati looked at him in disbelief and shock. Before she could even react she saw him deepening his wound with the glass. He seemed like playing with it and this disgusted her.. Tears started flowing down her eyes as they both maintained an eye contact.
Raghbir gave her a smile and continued doing that.

The wedding was going on and he was hurting himself with each mantra!
He suddenly pricked his hand and hitched in pain. This was it! Pragati got up from the wedding and came running to him.. She took the glass from his hand and threw it ! She without speaking anything, opened the car's door and took out the first aid box and did dressing of his wound while Raghbir smirked all the while.

Pragati - Kya mazaa aata hai aapko mujhe hurt karke! Kya bigada hai maine aapka?! Kis baat ka badla nikaal rahe ho aap?!

Raghbir - Hurt kiya tha na maine tumhe? Toh usi ki sazaa bhugat raha hu..

Pragati - Haa toh yaha kyu aaye. Jo karna tha ghar par karte! Mujhe meri nayi life toh start karne do shaanti se (crying)

Raghbir - Mai nahi dekh sakta tumhe kisi aur ke saath!

Pragati - Aone saath bhi nahi dekh sakte aur kisi aur ke saath bhi nahi. Dikkat kya hai aapki! Khud hi zindagi se nikaala na aapne mujhe! Phir kyu nahi dekh sakte kisi aur ke saath?

Raghbir - ( holding her by shoulder) Kyuki tum meri ho! Meri zindagi ho!

Pragati - Galat! Mai aapki thi.. Aur rahi baat zindagi ki toh aapko bhi bohot acche se pata hai aapki zindagi kaun hai! Everything is over between us Mr. Malhotra! (Jerking his hand)

Raghbir - Ek paper ne decide karliya ki humare beech sab khatam? Feelings ka kya? Un sab emotions ka kya jo tum mere liye feel karti ho aur mai tumhare liye feel karta hu!

Pragati - Kuch nahi feel karti mai aapke liye!

Raghbir - Accha.. Theek hai phir jaao na kyu aagayi shaadi chhor kar.. Jaao. Maine toh nahi bulaya tumhe. Kyu fark par rha hai! Insaaniyat ke naate? Mat dikhao insaniyat. Go get married and start your new life! Don't care about me.. Mai jeeyu ya maru!

Pragati - (crying) Kyu kar rahe ho mere saath aisa! Sab kuch aap hi decide karoge kya! Divorce dena tha ye bhi aapne de..(Raghbir cuts in between)

Raghbir - Divorce papers par badi maa ne bina bataye mere sign le liye the jab mai nashe mein tha! maine khud se sign nahi kiye the vo Pragati..(calmly)

Pragati - P..par chahte toh aap wahi ho na.. Aapki vo girlfriend.. Aap usse pya..(again Raghbir cuts off in between)

Raghbir - I love you Pragati.. Tumne mujhe bolne di ye baat? Khud hi sab decide karliya? Mai tumhe vo earrings iss liye nahi dena chahta tha kyuki mai tumhe kabhi Misha se compare bhi nahi kar sakta! Pragati you don't deserve the place that Misha used to have kyuki tum usse kahi zyada acchi ho. In fact Misha ki jagah tumhe dekar mai apne pyaar ka dobara mazaak nahi banana chahta tha! You took me wrong..

Pragati - (crying) No! You are wrong! Aapne mujhe itna hurt kiya.. Sab ne mujhe hurt kiya

Raghbir pulled her towards him and engulfed her into a tight hug to calm her down.. Pragati hugged him and buried her face in his chest, crying!

Raghbir - I never wanted to. I'm sorry baby.

Pragati - (still in his arms crying)Aapne humesha sirf mujhe sideline kiya! Mujhe bhi bura lagta hai! I felt so bad. Jaise aap nahi dekh sakte waise hi mai bhi nahi dekh sakti aapko kisi aur ka naam lete hue! Par koi nahi samajhta meri feelings. Sab ko sirf apni pri hai!

Raghbir - I am sorry Pragati. I know mai bura hu but I promise I won't do that anymore. Chalo mere saath please..

Pragati - No (breaking the hug) mai nahi aaungi aapke saath! Badi maa, aao sabse zyada pyaar karte ho na unse! Vo nahi chahti ki mai aapke saath rahu. Jaao aap! Unki pasand se shaadi karo! Kisi high class ladki se, jo aapke standards ko match kar sake! Meri jaisi nahi!

Raghbir - Pragati mai sabse zyada tumse pyaar karta hu! Aur ab agar tumne ek aur baar aisa kuch bola na toh mai bol raha hu mai tumhe utha kar le jaaunga. Sab mile hue hai yaha! Tumhare ye uncle aunty.. Badi maa.. Sab mile hue hai!

Pragati - I don't care..!! Aap chale jaao yaha se (wiping her tears)

Raghbir - If you really don't care toh kyu aayi bhaag ke bolo? And if you really want me to go toh ek aakhri baar boldo ki mai chala jaau aur tumhari kasam mein laut kar kabhi nahi aaunga aur tumhe tumhari nayi life mubarak ho..

Pragati - (hugging him and sobbing) Mat jaaiye naa!

Raghbir - Jaaunga toh mai zaroor.. Par tumhe lekar! Chalo ab..

Pragati - Mai kaise jaa sakti hu ghar..

Raghbir - Bharosa nahi hai?

Pragati - Hai na.. (goes and sits inside the car and Raghbir drives away)

Raghbir - Mere shouk hai yaar.. Ye vo saare shouk hai jo mai uss insaan ke liye Karna chahta tha jiski importance mere zindagi mein sabse zyada ho..
(Back hugging her) kaisa laga tumhara ghar?

Pragati - Humara ghar! Bohot beautiful.. Lekin hum rahenge family ke saath hi!

Raghbir - As you say mam.. Par filhaal kuch din I just want you me and love together.. No work no friends no family. Just u and me!

Pragati - Raghbir sir.. (Raghbir tightens his hold) I mean.. Raghbir.. I love you..

Raghbir - I love you more Pragati..

Pragati - Ab mujhe change toh karne do itna bhaari lehanga hai..

Raghbir - Hayee kitni sundar lag rahi ho Pragati rehne do naa..

Pragati - Accha.. Kisi aur se shaadi karne le liye pehni thi..

Raghbir - Par kar toh nahi saki na.. Aakhir Mai hu hi aisi cheez.. Koi door jaa hi nahi sakta..

Pragati - Koi ka toh pata nahi par mujhe door jaana bhi nahi hai! I want to stay forever in your arms!

Raghbir - Accha ji (picks her up in bridal style) Chalo phir..

Took her to the bedroom and Pragati went to change.. She came out wearing a very light pink frock and Raghbir was mesmerized by her look..

Raghbir - (pinning her to the wall) Agar aise shock dogi toh wapas uss ghar jaa nahi paayenge hum!

Pragati - (blushing) Mr. Malhotra.. Surprise dene sirf aapko hi nahi aata hai..

Raghbir - Accha ji..(smiling and moving close to her)Aap bhi apna talent dikha dijiye phir..

Pragati kissed his forehead and cheeks and then his jawline and then looked down blushing..

Raghbir - Itne pyaar se kiss karogi toh phir toh mai tumhe dekhta hi reh jaunga bas.. (kissed her forehead and then went directly to her neck)

Pragati gasped as soon as his lips touched her skin. A shiver went down her spine as he kissed nape..

Raghbir - Nervous?

Pragati didn't replied.. Just kept her eyes closed..

Raghbir chuckled at her expressions and then started leaving wet kisses and love bites on her skin.. Pragati clutched his shirt tightly..

Pragati pulled him back and slowly looked at him, Raghbir was waiting for her to say something. Instead, she just smiled and pecked his lips, backed off and shut her eyes tightly..
Raghbir chuckled at her actions and then kissed her lovingly.. Pragati at first was stunned, but then she eventually started responding. Her hands went round his neck, and his hands were round her waist pulling her into the safest and most loving embrace..

Raghbir - Zindagi ka hissa nahi, meri zindagi ho tum!
