Big One passes through the skies above the Pacific on a mission. Besides Evan, the people aboard were Enterprise and Illustrious. The three of them were going on a mission to save Javelin, Laffey, Z23 and Ayanami who were being held hostage by some unknown individual

*flashback

*Evan's Azur Lane base

*Evan POV

Evan: still no news about them?

Illustrious: I'm afraid so Evan sama

Illustrious frowned as she placed a stack of papers on my desk

Enterprise: I apologize Evan. I will double my search now

Evan: no. you have done enough. go get some rest

Enterprise: but

Evan: that's an order

I said, making Enterprise silent

Enterprise: I understand

I nodded before going back to my desk to see that I have unread email

Evan: unread email?

Enterprise: what is it Evan?

Evan: I just got some unread email

Enterprise: I see

Illustrious: you should open it Evan sama

Evan: no need to tell me illustrious

I clicked on the email, opening it to see some sort of video attachment. I clicked on the video to play it. Once I opened the video, I let out a gasp

Illustrious: Evan sama?

Enterprise: what's wrong Evan?

My two secretaries asked before going to my side, seeing the video

???: Hello Evan, my darling I hope you are doing well in the navy. I heard that you were looking for some of your precious girls right? well here they are

The camera shifts to show Javelin, Laffey, Z23 and Ayanami behind the unknown individual, struggling to break free

???: if you want me to set them free, come meet me at these coordinates I've sent in the email. Alternatively, I also sent you mail containing the coordinates as well. make sure you check your mail often. I hope  to see you soon Evan dear, otherwise these girls will get it

The unknown individual threatened before motioning the soldiers behind her to start aiming their guns at my captured shipgirls

???: This is Major ??? signing off

The unknown individual said before the video ended

Enterprise: I'm checking the mail

Enterprise said before running out of my office

Illustrious: Evan sama, who was that just now?

Evan: I'll explain about her once Enterprise comes back. I think it's time for the two of you to know a bit of my backstory

After awhile, Enterprise came back holding a letter

Enterprise: just as she said, there is an unopened envelope in your mail

Evan: okay

illustrious: Evan sama

illustrious coughed to get my attention

Evan: right. you two sit down. it's time for you to know a bit of my bckstory

I said as Enterprise and Illustrious sat down on the chairs in front of my desk

Illustrious: so Evan sama

Enterprise: who was that girl just now?

Evan: that girl who kidnapped some of the girls is my ex girlfriend

Enterprise and Illustrious: Eh?!

*Evan POV

inside the bridge of Big One, I was wearing my Sirius Platoon captain's coat Wataru Yuuki version with the railway peaked cap as I drove Big One towards the coordinates given to me by my ex girlfriend. Once we're close, I got up from my seat and went to the coach that Enterprise and Illustrious were in

Enterprise: Evan

they stood up once they saw me coming

Evan: we're approaching's the location. I'm going down there alone

Illustrious: Evan sama, that ex girlfriend of yours probably has a squad of soldiers waiting for you. Beside she didn't mention that you have to go alone

Illustrious giggled at this fact

Evan: come to think of it, ??? never stated that I should come alone

*third person POV

On the ground, ??? was waiting for Evan with the captured shipgirls tied up behind her, soldiers aiming their guns at their heads

???: Are they coming yet?

Just as she said that, she hear a train whistle before Big One descended on the ground, revealing Evan, Enterprise and Illustrious on the other side once Big One has passed by

Evan: Release my shipgirls now

However, ??? smirked

???: Not so fast Evan darling, if you want me to let these sluts go I have one condition

Enterprise: That is

???: come back with me Evan darling, I have changed

illustrious: Evan needs to come back with you?

???: That's right. If Evan comes back with me, I will let these sluts go. Otherwise I'll instruct my soldiers to take them down  

Evan looked at ??? before shaking his head

Evan: No. I'm not going back to you

???: What?

Evan: Do you seriously think that after everything you've done, you'd expect me to go back to you? Also, what happened to the guy you cheated on me with?

???: I broke up with him. Please come back Evan darling

Evan: No. I'm still not coming back to you

??? looked at Evan, Enterprise and Illustrious before speaking

???: Very well

She summoned some sort of Halbert and points it at Evan, Enterprise and Illustrious

???: Let's fight. If I win, you'll come back to me. Take this!

??? jumped up into the air, trying to land at where Evan is standing. Fortunately, Evan, Enterprise and Illustrious leapt out of the way, making redacted crash into the ground

Illustrious: Evan sama! Summon your Staff of First Dawn!

Illustrious instructed as ??? recovered from her attack

???: quick but not good enough

Evan: if I win, you stop bothering us and let my shipgirls go

Evan said as he summoned his Staff of First Dawn. The two then clashed blades at each other

Enterprise: Evan is losing!

Illustrious Evan sama!!

Enterprise: Don't give up!

Hearing Enterprise and Illustrious' cheers, Evan gripped his Staff of First dawn tightly before getting up

???: what?

Evan then attack redacted with all sort of magic before it time for the final blow. he slashed his Staff of First Dawn, creating ghostly figures of Big One, Flameswallow and Iron Berger before all three SDF trains rushed forward and hit ???, defeating her. The soldiers aimed their guns at Evan

Enterprise: Evan look out!

Enterprise and Illustrious summoned their riggings and launched their aircraft at the soldiers, killing them with machine gun fire

*Evan POV

In the aftermath of the battle, ??? was arrested by the police of her military. Javelin, Laffey, Z23 and Ayanami were freed and rushed to hug me

Kenneth: Evan

I turned around and saw the rest of  Task Force Zero Fire standing behind me

Jabil: That was one crazy ex you got there

Mashkur: Good work comrade

Kenneth: That was one hell of an ordeal you've been through

Evan: Yes sir

Kenneth: Go back to your base and rest. We'll cover your duties

Kenneth replied as he and Evan saluted each other

Evan: Thank you sir

Evan: Potential Ryuusei No Bifrost moment. Anyways, sorry for the bad and random stuff you see here

Enterprise: Basically, before joining Azur Lane but after discovering  Big One, Evan had a relationship with a girl

Illustrious: However, said girl cheated on him and now she's kidnapped the starter squad in hopes of bringing Evan back to her

Evan: little did she know she failed.  I got this idea after spending some time on character.ai. Also, there's a new finisher for me which I haven't named it yet. It involves creating ghostly figures of three SDF trains, Big One, Flameswallow and either Iron Berger or Hiryu. Anyway I need to rest up to drive Big One tomorrow since I promised Alfredo that I'll be taking her on Big One. Goodnight

Evan: Figured you'll escape eventually but never would've expected you to stoop this low to force me to be in a relationship with you again

???: If you've just accepted my love,  this wouldn't have happened

The two of them fought with Evan defeating her using the same triple SDF train finisher

???: Not again

??? then flew away, leaving Evan behind who then summoned Big One to chase after her
