*Evan/My POV

After giving the carriers permission to launch aircraft to search for the attacking Siren Fleet, I went back to my temporary office and grabbed the communicator. After that, I went back to the others.

"Midway Island to Admiral Kenneth." I spoke into the communicator once I sat down on the sand. Like before, there was no reply. Just static.

"Hmm... Now this is interesting." I heard Ticonderoga remark.

"What is it, Ticonderoga? Did you manage to track down the attacking siren fleet?" Enterprise asked.

"Not yet. I'm still tracking the enemy aircraft." Ticonderoga remarked.

"It's going pretty far from us. I don't think I can keep track of it any longer." Aquila spoke up.

"But there's good news. I think I got a pretty good clue of who we're up against." Ticonderoga added in, causing everyone to look at her.

"Who is it?" Veneto asked.

"Are we facing the actual Sakura Empire or just a siren pawn?" Maestrale asked.

"I can't tell just by looking at the planes. They've been too weak." Ticonderoga replied.

"Any more good news? I'm not exactly the greatest at putting things together." admiral Kenneth's New Jersey asked.

"The sea fog. When the fog is this dense, the easiest way to find where the ships are is to observe where the fog dissipates. From what I can see, the trails in the fog indicate that we're after a single ship." Ticonderoga replied.

"Do you think it's a pawn?" I asked.

"Most likely. it seems extremely unlikely that the sakura empire would send a lone ship by itself, knowing that this fog is a siren weapon." Ticonderoga replied. "Perhaps these pawns are instrumental for moving the siren's reenactment." Ticonderoga added in.

"Reenactment... I see, so that's why they attacked AF... Nobody would have a good reason to launch an attack on AF... except the Sirens. First, they strike at us using Pawns that resemble the Sakura fleet to provoke us into retaliating against the actual Sakura fleet. The more successful their Reenactment is, the more the Sirens would be empowered." Admiral Kenneth's New Jersey realized something.

"As for the "script" they're using... We are all quite familiar with that." Ticonderoga added in.

"except for a few people here. Mostly Iris, Vichya and Sardegna girls." I corrected her.

"The question is. What is their ultimate purpose of their reenactments?" Admiral Kenneth's New Jersey asked herself.

"I've been following the trail for quite awhile now. But I still haven't seen this pawn we're after yet. I'm still following the aircraft for the time being, but." Ticonderoga said after awhile before stopping.

"What is it Ticonderoga?" Enterprise asked.

"Wait, hold on! Something's shooting at the aircraft! Are those our colors? What's going on?" Ticonderoga asked.

"Eagle Union Planes? Fleet Admiral Evan, Do you have any other ships deployed?" admiral Kenneth's new jersey asked me.

"No. The only carriers that I deployed from my fleet are Enterprise, Illustrious, Aquila and Ticonderoga. The airfield on this island is pretty badly damaged so don't expect any land based air support anytime soon." I shook my head and replied.

"If the attack didn't come from a real allied plane, then that means." Admiral Kenneth's New Jersey started concluding before I interrupted her.

"There might be Eagle Union Pawns involved." I interrupted Admiral Kenneth's New Jersey before getting up. "Are there any other planes you four are able to track?" I asked my carriers.

"No. The ones I've been tracking have all been shot down." Ticonderoga replied.

"I see. Well change of plans. Track those Eagle Union Planes instead." I instructed.

"Roger!" Enterprise, Illustrious, Aquila and Ticonderoga acknowledged
