Brick/ Takashi POV

Everything's in place for Momoko. It's not that extravagant. She always comes to school early, so I come earlier, bring her down to the lake, and ask her out. Simple, right?

Is she on her way?~ Red head

Just got here. I just hope she doesn't get mad at me for bringing her down to the lake~ Red head

I'm sure she'll be find. Do expect some emotion though~ Cutely Blue

I jump into my desk and pick up the book just as Momoko comes in. She stops in the doorway and stares at me oddly.

"Something wrong?" I ask, without removing my eyes from the book. She walks forward and sits in the desk in front of me. She turns and stares at me.

"Yes, how'd you get here before me?" she responds curiously. I smile to the book, but have to restrain the excitement from my voice.

"Couldn't sleep. Decided to come early. Maybe get some stuff done so I could sleep later on in class," I shrug. She laughs, man she's so cute.

"Toco, we both know you could care less if you missed assignments, and your reading that book upside down," she says smugly. My focus zooms into the text and I realize I am reading it upside down, oops. "What's going on?"

I put the book on the table and look at her. She had on black skinny jeans, pink high tops, black tank top, and a pink leather jacket that ended at her ribs. Surprisingly her hair was down with a single braid lying on it, which only completed her look. She looked amazing.

"How would you like to go somewhere?" I ask quickly before I loose my train of thought. She raises an eyebrow at me suspiciously.

"Where is 'somewhere' exactly?" She asks. I smile and get up, offering her an open hand.

"Only one way to find out," I suggest. She smiles and grabs my hand. It's warm against my freezing and sweaty palm.

I take her down to the school courtyard and start towards the lake. She looks at me curiously as we walk.

"I know where we're going, but I'm curious why?" she asks. I shrug.

"Let's find out shall we?"

She smiles. "We shall."

We got to the lake and she joined me on the dock cautiously.

"Never thought id ever bring someone else here with me," she sighs and touches the water with a finger, sending ripples through it.

"Never thought it would be me," I suggest. She gives me a laugh but it's humorless.

"Actually, I don't think there's anyone I would rather show it to," I smile at her. I reach into my pocket and grab out a box. I hand it to her. "What is it?"

"Just a little gift," I shrug. She smiles and opens it up. When she sees it she smiles bigger. Inside the box is the white half of Yin and Yang. I pull out my black half. "I know it's nothing special, but you're the good that defeated my evil. Just thought it made sense."

She looks up to me, her eyes full of happines. "Thank you, toco. It's beautiful." She gets up and hugs me, digging her head into my chest. I wrap an arm around her gently and lead her to the edge of the dock. We sit down and I place it on her neck.

"Perfect," I assure her. She smiles. "Momoko, it's not a coincidence that I got here before you. In fact none of this just happened. I planned it, and I just wanted you to know I care about you Momoko. So, will you be mine?" I ask quickly. She stares at me, stunned and then frowns. She gets up and looks to the lake.

"I'm sorry Takashi, but I cant," she whispers. My heart breaks.

"W-what?" I stammer, but I'm not confused. I've been rejected.

"It's not you! Takashi you're amazing!its me, you..." she pauses.

"I what?" I sound mad, I didn't mean to. She looks at me and her tears start to gloss her eyes.

"You don't know who I really am. I'm sorry, I can't date you," she turns and runs off from the dock. I sit there stunned, taking in the realization...
