Powerpuff Christmas

It seems like all anyone ever talks about anymore is gifts and presents, especially during the holiday! People wanted to get more than give. Don't they understand what Christmas is really about?

The young red head, constantly had this on her mind, mostly with the holidays fast approaching. She couldn't seem to grasp the way everyone else was thinking. She had what she needed, and what she wanted was to do good for others who didn't have what they needed but no understood this.

She made her way downstairs to the kitchen, trying to make her pajama's presentable for breakfast along the way. She was first to arrive downstairs, usually meaning she was going to cook the others breakfast. She was an early riser while her sisters, not so much. Her father was always to busy working to be there most of the time so she took it upon herself with the parental duties.

She made french toast along with bacon. When she finished her sisters arrived, shoving eachother down the stairs as they raced to eat.

They started to gorge everything down, the blonde piping up, mouth still full of food, "Merry eve of Christmas eve!"

Blossom grimaced, avoiding to look at the young blondes mouth. To say she was grossed out was an understatement.

"I'm sorry, what?" She questioned.

The blonde took this time to swallow her food before speaking, "The Eve of Christmas Eve!"

"And what is that?" All the redhead wanted to do was eat breakfast but it seemed nothing was left.

Bubbles groaned as she rolled her eyes, "Today's the 23 which is the day before Christmas Eve! Which makes today, the Eve of Christmas Eve! Gosh, Bloss, I thought you were the smart one."

"That doesn't even make sense, stupid!" The ravenette pitched in, her mouth still full of food. She swallowed before sending a sickly sweet smile to Blossom, "Mind grabbing me a drink? Orange juice."

"Oh! Me too! Thanks!" Bubble's cried before turning to Buttercup, "And I'm not stupid! If anything you're stupid, buttface!"

"I'm smarter than you!" Buttercup snapped, yanking her glass from the redheaded heroine and chugging it down.

Bubbles did the same with her glass before replying, "Smarter isn't even a real word and at least I'm not a beastly brute!"

"At least I'm not a whiny crybaby like you! You couldn't even take me in a fight!"

This how their morning, afternoon and well evening went for the two sisters while Blossom had to put up with it, getting in between every now and then. When dinner arrived she finally brought up the topic she was hoping to bring up during breakfast.

"I was wondering, maybe this Christmas eve and Christmas we can go help out local shelters and hospitals. Dad won't be coming till late and we won't be doing anything till then plus I told you I only wanted both your help with this for Christmas." She smiled a little bit at the two, hoping the two younger of the triplets could put away their petty differences between each other for a little while.

"Sorry Blossom but I'm not doing anything with the dumb blonde!" Buttercup snapped before leaving the table and off to her room.

Bubbles growled low in her throat, "I'm not hanging out with someone who's gonna get coal for Christmas, sorry Blossy but Buttercup is not worth it!" With that said she ran up to her room as well. Both doors slamming shut.

Blossom bit her lip, glaring at the food left on the table, "All I wanted was to make someone else feel special on Christmas.."

The next morning, she woke up extra early, getting dressed and going downstairs to make the food for her sisters. She wrote a short note about her leaving before she placed it on the table. She made her way to the shelter, she had volunteered to help make food but she had also added her sisters.

She entered through the back, seeing two other ladies, she greeted them before helping get to work.

"Where are your sisters?" One asked, they didn't have very many hands to make food for all the mouths to feed but three super heroine's would change that drastically.

Blossom bit her lip one again as she finished her third batch of soup. She didn't want to make it seem like her sisters were horrible people but she was prone to telling the truth. "They're a bit busy today, some things came up and they send their utter most apologies..."

"Well I hope they are okay." They other lady spoke up as she made the cookies into different little shapes.

Blossom sent them a small smile before helping cook and decorate other things.

The day was long and hard, bouncing around the different shelters and hospitals. She needed a decent shower from all the running around, even with her super powers she was way worn out. She arrived home, seeing a mess in the kitchen. She sighed before starting to clean up, when she finished she noticed the milk, cookies and carrots along with a note left by the Christmas tree. She made her way over, Professor wasn't going to be here, (once again) to drink the milk or leave cookie crumbs and a letter replying. She smiled, while drinking some of the milk, taking the carrots and leaving crumbs to the chimney. She didn't want to read the letter because it was private but she was going to have to write a reply somehow.

Dear Santa,

My name's Bubbles Utonium but you probably already knew that. I know it's a little childish to write you a letter, especially when I said I'd stop two years ago... My sister, Buttercup and the Professor said I'm to old to still believe in you but my other sister, Blossom told me it was okay and that secretly she believed in you too. She's probably the reason why I still do this whole thing.

I don't want toys or stuffed animals or make up for Christmas... I just want to be together with my family, along with no fighting... Buttercup and I have not been getting along recently and I think it's affecting Blossom because she's the glue that's keeping all of us together. Can you just make her happy for Christmas?

Love,

Bubbles Utonium

Blossom smiled even more to herself.

Bubbles certainly did have a way with words.

She wrote a reply, slipping it under the blue eyed heroine's door after placing the presents from Santa under the tree. She did a quick shower before changing into some pajama's and setting an alarm for the next morning.

Blossom was supposed to be caroling with her sisters at the women's shelter right now but since they didn't feel up to it, she was alone. She brought cookies that she made yesterday and other small treats but when it was time to sing... Things didn't go as smoothly as she had hoped.

The songs were meant for three and their was no one their to play the other instruments. After she finished, she couldn't face the people waiting to greet her.

It was a complete train wreck! How could I let them down like that?!

She left through the back doors, running, she didn't know where but ended up at the park. She sat a bench, trying to keep herself from getting emotional but everything was falling apart right before her eyes and all she could do was watch. She gritted her teeth but that didn't stop the tears from falling.

"Crying on Christmas? That doesn't seem like you, Red."

Blossom glanced up after wiping away her tears, pink eyes meeting red. She gave a humorless laugh, "What are you doing here?"

"It's the park, Red, I'm allowed to do as I please."

She rolled her eyes, "No, it's Christmas, shouldn't you be with your family?"

"Butch ate all the food, seems like I have to go get some more," The fiery redhead lied through his teeth, "Shouldn't you be with your family?"

Blossom sighed, "The Professor won't be home till late and we don't do anything without him so I planned for us to do volunteer work at a few shelters... It was the one thing I wanted for Christmas but the girls didn't feel up to it."

Brick bit his lip, moving to sit next to the young teen, "Did you ever try telling them how important this is to you?"

"Tried but they didn't listen.."

Brick hummed lightly in his throat, "What if I get the boys to help?"

"Why would you help me?" She question, watching as the snow fell from the sky and into her palm.

He chuckled as he stood up, pulling her along with him, "It's Christmas, Red! Miracles always happen on Christmas!"

She sent him a weak smile, "I think you've been watching to many hallmark movies." Still she nodded as he clutched onto her hand, warming it up, "But yeah, I'd like that..."

When they arrived back at the women's shelter, the pink eyed heroine couldn't believe her eyes, "What's going on, exactly?"

"Like I said; Miracles always happen on Christmas.." Her counterpart whispered in her ear before guiding her to her sisters.

"MERRY CHRISTMAS, BLOSSOM!" They yelled in unison before pulling her into a painful hug.

Once they let go and Blossom could finally breath, she confronted them, "What're you guys doing here and what is all this?"

"Well..." The blonde started as she stared at the ground, "We were sorry.."

Buttercup rolled her eyes, "What she's trying to say is, we owe it to ya. You've always worked so hard and stuff, all the while putting up with Bubs and me... This is all you wanted from us, how could we not give it to you?"

"I love you guys.." She breathed out before pulling them into another tight hug. She turned to the three boys who were watching the whole thing, looking at one specifically, "You knew about this?"

Brick just shrugged, sending her a light smirk, "Maybe, but shouldn't we be throwing a party here?"

The girls and boys helped serve everyone before singing a few songs and then going to talk with everyone. Soon enough more and more people started to show up.

"Thank you." Blossom sighed as she cleaned up.

Her ex-arch enemy gave her a questioning glance, "For what?"

"I know you're the one who set this whole thing up... So thank you..."

He bit his lip as he made his way over to her, "You got it all wrong, Red. This is your sisters doing."

She shook her head, rolling her tired eyes, "They were to mad to even look at eachother, Brick... I know you did this but don't worry, I won't tell."

He chuckled, "Looks like you caught me." He looked up before noticing a certain leaf. He smirked catching an evil little idea, "Hey, Red?"

She looked up at him, but before she could even speak he pressed his warm lips against her cold ones. It felt like fireworks were going off as they pressed closer to eachother. Their skin tingled and it was as if they were in their own little world...

Miracles always happen on Christmas.

Happy holidays everyone!!! Be sure to stay safe!!! Have a great day!!! (:
