Today, I'll be sharing the story of the new Powerpuff Girls. Well, my new version, Version 2.0! 😄

Here are the parts of the story that wouldn't fit in the blurb area. 🙂

Professor Utonium didn't want his three little girls, Blossom, Bubbles, and Buttercup, to stay 5-year-olds forever; he wanted to see them grow up like the other children of Pokey Oaks, their Townsville suburb!

To fulfill his biggest wish for his angels, he invented the "Age Master" ("AgM"), a machine that could add or subtract years from a person or animal's genetic makeup, making them older or younger.

Unfortunately, a certain "Chemical X" was the cause of his daughters' inability to age, so he made an adjustment: he removed 99% of the chemical from their little bodies, allowing them to age a year. However, since the chemical played a major role in their creation, the 1% wasn't enough and the girls' DNA began to unravel, nearly destroying them.

Nearly in tears, The Professor made a huge adjustment: he increased the amount of Chemical X to 50%. The 50% was enough to stabilize the girls, but The Professor realized he would have to give them 20% doses of the chemical for the rest of their lives if he wanted them to outlive him.

Once the girls' aging process was done, he told them about the side effects of the process, about how they'd have to take Chemical X like its medicine to survive.

Strangely enough, the girls did not protest. They were just happy to be alive.

9 years later, the Powerpuff Girls are 15, alive and well¹.

Over the summer of 2015, several significant things happen:

-Princess Morbucks is bailed out of Townsville Juvenile Correction Center - AGAIN - by her father.

-The odd, special, magic-like abilities Buttercup acquired at age 11 (which includes Electrokinesis and Electromagnetism) destroy part of Downtown Townsville when she gets mad at Blossom for the millionth time, getting her sent back to "Anger Masters" (the group The Professor put her in at age 12 for angrily throwing Blossom through a wall with her powers while Ms. Keane was visiting).

-After years of planning, and stalking Professor Utonium for a while, Mojo Jojo sneaks into Professor Utonium's basement lab, activates the "Age Master", recreates the Rowdyruff Boys², and uses the AgM to age them to 15! All to annoy the Powerpuff Girls.

Now the PPG have to deal with the RRB, more of Princess' revenge plots, the fact that they could die if they miss a Chem. X dosage, and normal teen issues.

To add to their problems, Princess is plotting something huge, w/ the help of Brick of the RRB and the PPG have no clue what to do until Princess' plan is revealed!

Footnotes:

¹The PPG are surviving off of 1 bottle of Chemical X a day (w/ breakfast). The bottles, containing 20% Chem. X, carbonated water, flavored w/ individual flavors reflecting each girl, and colored w/ the girls' favorite colors (to tell each bottle apart), are locked in a fridge in the basement.

²While following Professor Utonium, Mojo saw him present the AgM and explain how he aged the PPG to everyone who attended Inventor Con. He used this information to recreate the RRB.
