Explaining The Multiversal Structure
Before we start the current chapter of the cosmology of my stories there's some things that I'll have to clarify at first as to why I decided to make this chapter :
A) First and foremost, I've decided to create this chapter since I've felt that the scaling of my cosmology from Multiversal to High Outer and then as many layers into Boundless as it's originally supposed to have been in the easiest of terms kinda wacky and I plan on fixing that.
B) This chapter was about to come since I've explained the universal structure earlier and parts of the dimensional structure as spoiler free as possible - since I was planning on expanding on it - and now, I'll explain what is considered to be a Multiverse or more.
C) The last thing was that this chapter along with the previous one fall under the In Verse Cosmology Scaling that I've done, so everything I scale here will once again be without the atomic scaling since let's be honest, it would be a nightmare to powerscale and explain both things at the same time. Also although this scaling will be without counting the atom scaling of the Raonverse, the same exact Multiversal structure is also used in atom scaling.
-----------------------------------------------------------
First of all, before I start with what types of Multiverses - or what is considered to be a Multiversal structure in the Raonverse - it would be wise if I started by explaining what is the terminology of a Multiverse.
A Multiverse according to the astrophysics is considered to be any hypothetical sum of four or more parallel spatiotemporal continuums that can comprise anything from a quote-on-quote small 4D cosmological structure to any higher finite or infinite alternate realities.
This theory is the result of M-Theory else known as Multiversal Theory which is part of the string theory.
The string theory being an astrophysical theory that says that basically any small 1D to 2D, unseen by us due to its size particle is a string and all the higher dimensions, including the 3D perspective of our world - since we can perceive, depth, width, length and height, but not our position in time which according to Einstein is the fourth dimension - are a result of how those small, spatiotemporal strings vibrate and interact with one another.
In a sense, we can see our universe and everything that we can perceive as music and these spatiotemporal strings as the strings of a musical instrument.
I can't explain further how the strings in the string theory interact with one another in greater detail since I'm no astrophysicist and I apologize to those who came here expecting this chapter to be a seminar in String Theory and astrophysics.
-----------------------------------------------------------
Now that this is out of the way, I'll explain to you every type of multiverse that exists in the Raonverse (Spoiler alert every Multiversal type exists in it) and where they scale it so without any further time to waste, let's explain them.
Level I Multiverse : Universal Extension : This type of Multiversal structure according to the famous cosmologist Max Tegmark is quite literally as it's name suggests, an extension of the universe.
This extension of the universe to other universes is happening because of two things, the theory of the universal expansion and the Hubble volume theory.
The theory of the universal expansion is basically that the universe we live in expands ad infinitum or in other words, basically forever which is quite simple to understand since it's the reason why when scientists - astrophysicists especially - talk about the universe, they separate it in two types, the observable and the non observable universe.
The Hubble volume theory on the other hand is quite tricky, but at the same time, equally important to understand. The Hubble volume theory basically says : "Since space is infinite and although there are infinite particles in it, due to the fact that the particle combinations are finite that means that the same combination of particles must have happened in another part of space.", that's the basis of the Hubble theory.
This according to Tegmark means that the universe itself is an ergodic, infinite universe that due to its size it has Hubble volumes that follow the same constants - physical laws and physics specifically - where each Hubble volume is basically a Universe.
As I've said before even the smallest universe in the Raonverse is infinite upon infinite times bigger than our irl universe - that the Type I universe of Tegmark is based on - meaning that due to its sheer size alone.
That means that the closest thing to an " irl universe" in the Raonverse quite literally qualifies for a Type I Multiversal structure since it's infinite upon infinite times bigger and the fact that infinite universes - or in this case Hubble volumes - get created in a time period of less than a fraction of a second.
A Type I Multiverse is scaled as a High 2C- cosmological structure, basically a Universal + cosmological structure since although there are many Hubble volumes/universes in each universe they're still technically one universe.
Although in terms of the Raonverse due to the fact that each pseudo universe is infinite upon infinite times bigger than the irl universe, a Type I Multiversal structure in the Raonverse can scale as high as a High 2B+ cosmological structure, basically an Infinite High Multiversal structure.
-----------------------------------------------------------
Now let's go a step further.
Level II Multiverse : Different Physical Law Universes : This theory is a quote-on-quote "daughter" of the universal inflation theory. The universal inflation theory quite literally means that the universe itself inflates - like for example a balloon or a loaf of bread in the oven - and expands accordingly.
The difference between Type I and Type II Multiverses is that the Type I Multiversal structure with all its Hubble volumes is basically the same universe since they follow the same physical laws whilst the Type II Multiverse on the other hand has bubbles on top of it like the foamy bubbles that appear on a bread whilst it's in its baking process or like a fizzy drink and the bubbles of Carbon Dioxide that happen when you pour it into a glass.
Those small bubbles according to Tegmark - since he's the one who wrote the theory about the types of multiverses - are embryonic Type I Multiverses with different universal constants.
The difference in scale is just massive if we consider that the Type II Multiversal structures also have within them John Archibald Wheeler's oscillatory universe and Lee Smolin's fecund universe theories.
Now, how does the Raonverse qualify for Type II?
It's quite simple. Don't you remember that back in the Explaining The Universal Structure chapter I've stated that only the observable universe of a "universe" in the Raonverse being as big as the irl universe?
This combined with the fact that each universe is transfinite - basically infinite upon infinite - times bigger than the irl universe and still expanding with more and more universes being created at a moment's notice, along with the fact that each one of those universes is basically a Type I Multiverse, puts a... for lack of a better term, pseudo universe into a Type II Multiversal structure.
Or if that isn't your cup of tea, you can interpret the existence of a Type II Multiverse differently by me stating that there are infinite Hyperbolic Time Chambers in each pseudo universe of the Raonverse. Those HTCs are all universe sized and not interconnected with one another since it also qualifies for a Type II due to the fact that those HTCs also follow different spatiotemporal laws from the main universe (For example in the Earth's HTC, one earthly hour is a year inside the HTC of Earth).
The Type II Multiversal structures are scaled into 2B or High 2B or in other words, a Multiversal + or Infinite Multiversal structure in the Codex Wiki, but in terms of the Raonverse - which is much bigger - they scale easily to High 2A+, in other words an Infinite Hyper-Multiversal structure.
-----------------------------------------------------------
Now that we've seen the basic two types let's see something more advanced.
Level III : Infinite Alternate Multiverses : This Multiverse type, despite its level and type, it's quite literally the type of multiverse that's mostly seen in fictional novels, comics, anime, series etc and I'll explain why in a bit.
This Multiversal Type is known by many names, Infinite Quantum Multiverses, Infinite Timelines, Schrodinger Multiverse, Everett's Multiverse and more.
This Multiversal type is a part of the quantum physics, especially the Schrodinger's cat quantum paradox and Hugh Everett the Third's Many World Interpretation theory or MWI for short. The Schrodinger's cat paradox basically tells us of a small quote-on-quote experiment in regards to Schrodinger's cat (Don't worry about it, no cats were hurt at the making of this experiment), the experiment was as follows :
- In that experiment they had a cat inside a box and then, after some time they killed the cat. The Schrodinger's cat paradox tells us that although this cat died in our reality, there should be anywhere from one to infinite others where that cat is alive -
The Hugh Everett the Third's MWI theory, basically states that there are many alternate realities are based on the universal wavefunction and the quantum mechanics in general, meaning that whatever different interpretation of them can exist in another "world" or in the case of Everett's Interpretation another parallel universes.
For the anime enthusiasts, think about it like the timelines of DragonBall. For example in the timeline of Future Trunks, Past Zamasu - a.k.a Goku Black - still lives, whilst in the "main" timeline - where everything else in DBS minus Future Trunks Arc happens - Zamasu got Hakai-ed by Beerus.
Or in even simpler terms think that you're basically throwing a dice that has six sides. By landing on one of the six sides in the main timeline, five other alternate realities got formed where your dice had landed on each other of the five remaining sides.
How does each pseudo universe in the Raonverse scale to that Multiversal Type?
It's via their timelines of course. Now before everyone starts calling my statements cap and no limit fallacies or anything else, let me explain a simple thing.
The thing is that I've clarified in a public announcement of mine that the SDBH cosmology, events, anime and scaling are Canon as a part of the Raonverse's cosmology which is the perfect solution for it.
Why exactly? Because in a quote of the game DragonBall Xenoverse 2 - the events and statements of which are Canon in the SDBH and Raonverse by extension since SDBH is a small fraction of it - it was stated that the Parallel Quests that the players are allowed to do are only some timelines within infinite others.
Also it's stated in the SDBH that :
A) the timelines are quite literally infinite and
B) that they're branching and extending infinitely.
Additionally, the greatest part of it is that the time patrol headquarters is located in the Living World of the DragonBall Universe 7 and not the Time Nest - since the time nest is above the concept of space and time all together - which means that those infinite upon infinite sets of branching timelines are part of the Living World.
Another way to prove that a Type III Multiversal structure exists in the Raonverse is by the Infinite Limbo - since as I explained in the In Verse Scaling chapter the Living World is an archetype, meaning that it's composed of many different pseudo realms such as the actual Living World, the Mind Realm and the infinite dimensions of Limbo - since although the Limbo is basically its own thing, it's also an infinite nexus, parallel to the actual Living World whilst at the same time, much bigger than the Living World is quite similar to it in terms of cosmological structure.
Think about the Limbo as not one, but infinite sets of infinite parallel realities much higher than the Living World itself that the higher one views the lowest as fiction so even if the actual living world is not a Type III Multiversal structure by its own, it's getting the Type III Multiversal Structure by the infinite alternate realities of Limbo.
A Type III Multiversal Structure is normally scaled at the tiering system under the tier of High 2B or in simpler terms Infinite Multiversal, but if we combine the fact that in the Raonverse we have infinite timelines with infinite branches for each one. This puts the sum of the actual Living World and the Infinite Limbo at High 1C+ a.k.a Infinite High Complex Multiversal and can even go as high as High 1B+ a.k.a Infinite Complex Hyperversal due to the fact that Quantum Mechanics and Hilbert Spaces are a thing and from them, the latter specifically needs infinite dimensions in order to exist since the Quantum Mechanics can be utilized in a non finite Euclidean space.
-----------------------------------------------------------
Finally it's time to go even further beyond what we've already stated and speak about the King of Kings, the biggest and most complex type of Multiversal structure existing in astrophysical theories.
Level IV : Ultimate Assembly : In the words of Max Tegmark this is the Multiversal Magnum Opus the highest possible Multiversal structure.
This type of Multiversal structure is massive beyond comprehension and used in high end fictional cosmologies and worlds like SCP, WoD, Cthulhu Mythos, Twin Peaks and as of now, the Raonverse itself.
This type of multiverse is known by many names such as Mathematical Assembly, Type Four, Type IV, Cantorverse, Mathematical Multiverse and in sertain cases even Outerverse.
This type of Multiversal structure theorizes every previous Multiversal type as existent and able to be proven by mathematical standards and mathematical equations.
Tegmark himself had even wrote about it this :
- Abstract mathematics is so general that any Theory Of Everything (TOE) which is definable in purely formal terms (independent of vague human terminology) is also a mathematical structure. For instance, a TOE involving a set of different types of entities (denoted by words) and relations between them (denoted by additional words) is nothing but what mathematicians call a set-theoretical model, and one can generally find a formal system that it is a model of. -
Which basically means that Tegmark himself stated that this is the highest Multiversal Structure possible, so it's impossible for... let's say Type V or Type VI or any higher types of Multiversal Structures to exist.
A Type IV Multiversal Structure is the highest possible Multiversal structure where mathematics and their laws define everything, even higher set theory types of higher realities.
Due to its incomprehensible size and complexity, a Type IV Multiversal Structure is scaled at the tier 1A or in simpler terms this tier is known amongst scalers with the names of Outerversal or Cantorversal.
How does the Raonverse scale to this monstrously incomprehensible structure then?
It scales with not one, not two, but three ways :
A) The Raonverse has the set theory existing within it, which was basically the Axiom of Inaccessibles that I was using throughout the scaling of the verse itself since the first ever scaling chapter in this book. The set theory is the key that can allow the verse itself to reach the status of a Type IV Multiversal Structure in the first place.
B) With the Mind Realm, which also has infinite upon infinite sets of dimensions and since via set-theory or in the case of my scaling, the Axiom of Inaccessibles itself it qualifies for any tier from as low as 1B+ basically Infinite Hyperversal to High 1B+or else Infinite High Hyperversal and even Baseline 1A.
C) The last and stronger information we have are the transfinite sets of Algebrical Dimensions that allow me to give you a further explanation about them and what they are.
The Algebrical Dimensions as stated in the Explaining The Dimensional Structure chapter of the book, are the second from the LOWEST types of dimensions in the Raonverse, but the thing that I forgot to mention is that their name isn't a Name Fallacy whatsoever, meaning that each one of these dimensions is the representation of the concept of Mathematics itself and every law, physical, mathematical, astrophysical or higher that exists. Basically every concept, every type of numbers from finite to higher cardinals and ordinals, every theory, every axiom, every paradox, EVERYTHING that can be explained and governed in its totality by mathematics exists in and below the Algebrical Dimensions, the metaphysical borders of the Living World.
The fun part in this is that it cannot be debunked as easily as others may think since theories like Set-Theory, David Bohm's Theory Of Implicate And Explicate Orders and R>F Transcendence exist within the Raonverse as well.
The Algebrical or Mathematical Dimensions put the Living World in its totality in the fabled 1A or Outerversal/Cantorversal tier by Codex Wiki Standards, but since there are basically infinite sets of infinite Algebrical Dimensions in the Raonverse, the Living World itself qualifies for High 1A+ else known as Infinite High Outerversal/Cantorversal since one of the Algebrical Dimensions by itself can be scaled easily to baseline 1A - else known as Baseline Outerversal/Cantorversal - due to the fact that every single one of these transcends the infinite sets of infinite dimensional hierarchies that exist within the borders of the Mind Plane.
Keep in mind that it would technically be even higher, but in terms of simplicity in scaling, I don't take the Mathematical Concept of Absolute Infinity as Boundless, just baseline 1A since anything higher than the concept of mathematics in its totality - including Absolute Infinity - is High Outer for me.
-----------------------------------------------------------
That's the end of this chapter for me since by now I've explained to all of you with as much detail as I possibly could the Multiversal Structures within the Raonverse itself and how to prove them.
All credits for the Multiversal types and the scaling that I'm following goes to the Codex Fandom Wiki since it's a scaling wiki that I call to be entirely faithful to its info and I recommend it to anyone who's new at scaling.
Keep in mind that I'll be working on my new powerscaling book some time later, I don't know when it'll be ready, but I hope that I'll have it to be as detailed in each chapter as possible.
Finally, I hope that all of you will enjoy reading this chapter as much as I enjoyed writing it and I wish you all a happy rest of your day until I meet you again in another book of mine.
