Potential :

Both Goku and Saitama have Infinite potential and many statements to back it up.

Also for those who say that Goku's potential isn't limitless there are scans one by Whis saying that he still has room to grow in terms of strength:

To fighting equally with Jiren :

So they both have an ever increasing power also in case you bring the fact that Saitama's strength is infinite or other similar fallacious statements I have four things to say:

- Firstly, they're debunked by this debate and a combination of No Limit Fallacy and Hitchen's Razor since you can't prove that Saitama has infinite strength when his strength increases based on his emotions.

If it was infinite it wouldn't even need to increase in the first place.

- Secondly most of the boundless statements of Saitama come from Bandwagon Fallacy and mistranslations mainly taken from Viz a website that has the worst tracking record with out of context translations.

- Saitama's adaptation isn't passive compared to Goku's since Saitama's adaptation was a result of an upsurge of overwhelming emotions as the scan says :

Meanwhilst Goku gets passively stronger during a fight without needing to rely on his emotions as given from his fight with Jiren :

They're literally having a chill talk whilst fighting ffs 💀

- Saitama's strength isn't infinite since if it was he'd legit one shot CF Garou instead of delivering an untold amount of punches to CF Garou.

Endurance :

Saitama :

Saitama had tanked most attacks up to now from his opponents with minor injuries. That's not so much due to endurance, but mainly due to the fact that he's literally a Main Character at the end of his journey so he's essentially a max stats player in New Game - difficulty.

Son Goku :

Son Goku's endurance is much higher than Saitama's since he flat out tanked a Point Blank Hakai from Golden Frieza :

Hakai essentially ignores durability to the point where nothing remains, basically if you're not immortal Hakai is the equivalent of someone Ctrl + Alt + Deleting your entire existence to the point where no form of resurrection or reincarnation (except if it's a wish in the Super Dragonballs) can resurrect you since there will be quite literally nothing left from you.

And fun fact, Goku tanked it in base for some hours until Beerus came to quite literally and figuratively blow away the Hakai.

Existential Dimensionality :

Although their Dimensionality via AP and DC is leagues apart in favour of Goku, both are 3D by dimensional existence since they both are affected by time and have past and present versions of themselves.

If you try to bring out the notorious "Saitama caught Hyperspace Portals" scan in order to prove that Saitama is 4D by existence I've got bad news for you it's hilariously easy to debunk since it's a Bandwagon Fallacy due to a translation error by Viz:

Hidden Ending :

If we don't take away from them their personality and don't make them bloodlusted for the fight, Goku and Saitama's fight would still happen but mostly as a friendly sparring match between the two of them since Goku would be surprised that there's a human with so much untapped potential.

Saitama on the other hand would be overjoyed since he finally found what he wanted....

An opponent that can push him further, one that can take on his full power and not back down or get one shot.

Yeah.... he'd still be relatively annoyed that Goku basically mops the floor in terms of power compared to him by many infinities in terms of overall stats, but he'd respect Goku mutually since the latter would respect him as well as a friend, a sparring partner and a fellow hero.

It would be the start of a beautiful, mutually beneficial friendship...
