KALEBS P.O.V

When I saw what Berry did rage, and anger, immediately started coursing through my body.

Berry was standing over Pyra's body, blood filled up around her, Astrapes had run to her and dropped to her knees crying.

Jane and everyone else stood back, and me and Layne walked up to Berry and trapped him, I was standing behind him, and Layne in front. We had moved Berry away from Pyra and Astrapes.

Layne's eyes were red with fire, and before I knew it, his body went up in flames.

Berry started to laugh, an evil laugh, "HAHAHA," he also held up Layne's sword.

"You think this is a game!" Layne roared and fire spits out of his mouth when he talked.

I looked down at my hands, lighting sparked in between my fingers.

"Now I will kill you both!" Berry yelled, then charged Layne with the sword.

Layne grind, "You can try"

"I'll do more than that," Berry said. And at that moment I realized that Berry's voice no longer sounded the same, it sounded evil, like a demon, but no matter what, he still killed Pyra, and for that he'll pay.

Berry didn't even get a chance to hit Layne, when he was blown back from fire, and his body was coming at me. I side stepped and dodge him, and his body hit a tree. Some leaves fell on his head.

I formed a lighting ball in my hand and threw it at berry, he tried to get up and run but I threw it too fast.

The ball landed on the Berry's chest, and his whole body jumped when it hit him.

But his eyes were still open and he grinned, "Is that all you've got?"

I smiled. But didn't say anything.

Then Layne walked up to me, "Let's finish this," he said.

I nodded, "For Pyra!"

Me and Layne both charged Berry, but he was ready for us, he had a big shield in front of him, I was running too fast to stop, and I hit the shield.

But Layne didn't, I hadn't even realized that he was flying and he had time to stop.

I don't even know where he got the metal to make that shield.

I was laying on the floor, from berry pounding his shield into my face, luckily he didn't break my nose.

Layne was up exchanging hits with Berry, it looked like an even fight, but I could tell Layne was getting tired, I was too. We had both just got out of those tests, for who knows long we were in there, fighting, crazy creatures, and now we are back to the real word fighting again.

All the sudden, when I was getting up I heard a scream. But it wasn't Berry, it was Layne. And Berry was standing over him with the sword in the air, about to take the final blow to fish him.

"No!" I scream, and without even thinking about it, I formed a lighting bolt and threw it, at Berry.

At the moment it was like time stopped, and I could feel the sweat beating down my face, and the little bit of air, brushing through the cuts I had on my shirt. And I could hear every one of my heart beats.

And the lighting bolt went straight threw Berry's heart, and he dropped the sword, and fell to his knees, his eyes shot wide open, but the eyes changed instead of gray and lifeless, he now looked alive.

I stood there stairing,

"Th-th-" Berry started to stutter and cough blood, tears running from his eyes and down his cheeks "th-thank you-" 

I ran to him and Layne, Berry laying on the floor on his back, his eyes lifeless, and holding were the hole was in his chest.

Blood leaked into his shirt. He was dead, and I tried not to think about what I had just done.

Layne got back to his feet, and got over to Berrys body.

"Layne no!" I yell, but Layne ignored me.

He knelt down and held a fist up over Berry.

"Layne don't, he's dead, it's over!" I yell.

Layne hesitated, then dropped his fist to the floor.

I walked up to him, his face had some cuts, but nothing that wouldn't heal quick.

"Its all my fault dude, if I was just paying attention, Pyra wouldn't have.." he hesitated for a moment, "Have died"

"You can't blame yourself dude, we could all sit here and blame ourselves for not seeing him do it, but we can't, we gotta keep moving," I say back.

I see a small tear roll down laynes face, "Alright, I'll try," he said then reached his hand out, and I pulled him up.

We turned around to face everyone, it had been so long, and out of the corner of my eye I saw Layne wipe his face.

I saw, no it can't be, it's Derek, holding Emily, but why? And then I saw my parents, my mom smiled at me, and so did my dad. But they also looked at me a little weird, probably because of the clothes I had on.

I wanted to run up to my parents and hug them, but I couldn't, I saw Astrapes knelt down on her knees next to her sister, crying.

So I walked up towards her, my parents' expression changed when they say me She they saw me walk in the other direction.

Rebel, had run up to me, well, hobbled, she had some kind of glass cast on and some nasty wounds. Her short docked tail wagged, and before I went to Astrapes, I knelt down and pet rebel. She licked and jumped at me rapidly, it was good to see her.

"Missed me, huh girl?"

She barked back like she could talk.

I put my hand over her back, and focused on her wounds, they healed up. Jane must of been watching because they glass, cast like things broke when I was done.

I looked up, "thanks for watching out for her!" I yell.

She smiled, then everyone started walking to Astrapes.

Now everyone was around Astrapes, and Pyra, it was a horrible sight, and I heard Derek throwing up from the distance.

"Astrapes, we have to go," I say.

She was still crying, "No, I can't leave her, not like this!"

"Then we could, um bury her"

"But how? We don't have anything?"

"I can make a glass coffin," Jane said.

"O-ok," Astrapes said, but she had a hard time getting it out.

Right there jane made a glass coffin, I could tell she had gotten better at using her powers.

Then I heared someone run up, it was Derek, "Hey guys I thi- nope nver mind," he turned right back around, and threw up again.

"Since when did he come along?" Layne asked.

"Ill tell you later," jane said.

Astrapes finally stood up, her eyes were red with tears, and she looked like she wasn't even done yet.

She nodded her head, and me and Layne walked up to Pyra, and picked up her body.

Layne eyes had tears in the, but he was fighting them back.

We picked up her body and placed it inside, but the hardest part was when I had to pick up here head.

I couldn't believe that someone I was just talking to a little while ago, was no dead.

Her eyes were still open, and I made it a point not to look inside them. But I closed them.

I set her head inside the coffin, and walked to Astrapes she was still crying.

The silents around us got to an awkward point, untill Layne finally broke it.

"Now how are we going to bury it?"

"Already got that covered," Derek said, and he had dug a hole in the floor witb his bare hands, kinda like a dog.

"This is weird," I whispered to layne.

He nodded, "You could say that again,"

Then me and layne walked and picked up the coffin, we walked it to the holw and dropped it in, luckily tbe glass didn't break.

Then before anyone could do anything else, Derek dug the holw back up.

I walked up to Berry, "Now what to do with him?"

"I got that one too," Derek said.

He then ran over by Berry and dug a hole, and he dug it quick. When he was done he kicked Berrys body in tbe hole, and dug it back up.

"Good?" He asked.

I put two thumbs up, "Yeah, good job buddy"

"Thanks bro"

Don't call me bro, I think tk myself.

I walked back to the group, my parents immediately hugged me.

My mom sqeezed me, until I couldn't breath.

"Ok, I get it you missed me," I say gasping for air.

She pulled away, "Sorry,"

"Its okay"

"Alright family reunion is over. Its time to go through our door and get back home," Layne said.

Ouch, I winced,

And I looked to him, he was standing in front of all three doors.
