Chapter 1
Hair blowing backwards. Knocking noise of shoes hitting the floor.
It was me against the school.
As I was rushing through the pale purple corridors of my high school, I passed by people that glanced in my direction for a split second, just to go back to what they were doing.
I moved my black glasses up, back to their normal position, so that they wouldn't fall off my nose any time soon.
My black blazer was floating in the wind, on my back, and my red tie was almost at the back of my neck.
Hot sweat was dripping down my forehead, and my breathing started to become more heavier, making my mouth burn, as the cold air filled my mouth.
My brown hair, tied up in a pony tail, floated in the air, as well.
Hot tears dripped down my pale cheeks. I couldn't take it anymore.
Why?
Because of the pressure I am put into.
I am running away from my teachers who just so happened to give me multiple things to do, at a time.
They think my brain is as strong and as powerful, as a genius brain.
However, they are wrong, I am an average human being with 160 IQ.
I turned right, pushing the wooden doors of the corridor, open, as they made a slight squeak sound.
I quickly took another turn and pushed another double doors open, revealing a stair way, that went up.
I rushed up the white stairs, trying my hardest not to fall on them, as I usually do.
As I get to the first floor, I push the next double doors open and run through pale orange corridors, into a little bridge that connects one side of the first floor of the building , to the other side of the first floor, on the other side of the building.
From there you can see the huge white walls of the school. You can see the top of all the tables that people sit by, while its lunch.
You can also see the huge stage not too far away from the tables, with its black curtains, and a huge sign on one of the walls , which says "Harmony High".
I must say, it's pretty unique but weird name for a school, especially this school, which is ironic, because this school has nothing to do with harmony.
I leaned against one of the sides of the bridge , looking down at the ground, and the people that seemed to pass by, under the bridge.
Tears dropping down on the ground, as I seemed to break into a soft sob.
I couldn't take the pressure any longer. I couldn't take the people either.
Either people put pressure on me, or make fun of me, or they are simply jealous of something I don't seem to have.
And that is Knowledge.
You may look at me, like I am some kind of a weirdo, saying that I have no knowledge.
Unfortunately, it's true.
Deep down, I feel like, even tho I might pass tests and be all great in my subjects, etc.
I don't feel the passion, I don't feel the knowledge.
It feels like it's not actually there, and something just takes control over me, when I do my tests.
Knowledge isn't about just knowing important stuff and all that, it's wanting to know thouse stuff, to actually feel that you know them, and feel proud that you do.
And I seem to lack knowledge, I seem to lack the passion for it, like it's missing.
People avoid me because of the fact that I am weird to them, or boring, or just too "smart" as they like to call it.
That's mostly why I have no friends. People think I don't deserve to be "so smart", and I must say, I think they are right.
As I went back down, I kept my eyes to the ground and my hands on my black and red bag handles.
My shoes making a knocking sound every time they hit the ground.
People's voices seemed to fade away, as my steps echoed in my ears.
I have always been jealous of other people. They didn't have so much pressure put on them, they didn't have to deal with jealousy of others, and loneliness.
They don't know how that hurts.
My black and red bag seemed to become more heavier, with each step I took.
I felt like I was becoming weaker.
A sudden force on my shoulder, made me gasp in suprise, while I fell backwards onto the ground.
I rubbed my shoulder, and proceeded to look up,to see what made me fall.
As I knew it, it was my bully Jordan. He is a bit overweight, with his brown hair, and brown eyes that stood out from his pale face. He disgusted me more than anyone in this school.
He had no shame in anything he did, and he was just the most disgusting human being i have ever met.
I stood up from the ground, and looked at him with my emotionless face, trying my best not to hit him.
"What are you doing nerd!?" He asked laughing, knowing that I don't like that nickname he gived me, since it doesn't describe me at all.
"I was walking" I said simply, and as I did, I felt a sudden force pushing me against the silver lockers, on one of the walls, that were behind me.
I winced in pain, as I felt hot liquid going down my arm.
Hot tears streamed down my face, as the pain became stronger and hard to bare.
"No one speaks to me, unless I tell them" Jordan spat, as he laughed and went away, with his little friends following behind.
I could sense the stairs of others. Some where in shock, some were smirking, and some didn't even care.
My feet seemed to pick up speed, as I rushed to the P.E department.
I opened a red door, and runned in.
The room was filled with lots of tubes and vires, that either connected water through out the school, or electricity.
I know that it seems bad to put thouse two things together, but don't question me, I didn't make this school.
I sat down in one of the corners of the room, and I hid my face in my knees.
I was sobbing, from pain, but also because of my stupid life.
I wanted to be gone, I just wanted for all this to end, but unfortunately my wishes were never coming true.
I stood up, sighing in defeat, knowing that if I go out there, Jordan might attack me or people would laugh at me as always.
Something made me suprise, as I heard soft dripping sounds.
I turned around to look at what it was, and my heart skipped a beat when I saw a big pile of water, not only everywhere, but also on me.
Somehow I haven't noticed sitting down on it, and now I was all wet.
I quickly took my bad who was resting on one of the tubes and took a run for it, but unfortunately for me, I tripped over one of the wires, accidently braking it.
A blue sparks came out of it, which was odd, but I didn't hesitate to stand up and run. However, I didn't realise that one of my legs was tied in that wire and I tripped over, as the electricity went through water and I felt sharp pain through out my body.
No one's POV
Her whole body started to spark, as she yelled in agony. She looked up, and her eyes turned from blue to silver, and her hair changed to lighter, with blonde, dark blonde and even slightly ginger highlights.
Her hands lost strength and her hair bubble snapped, making her hair go to both of her sides, as her curls dropped down onto the wet floor.
Back to the previous POV
I was slightly weaker, and my head seem to be really sore. The electricity stopped affecting me, and I quickly stood up, knowing that in a minute I might fall again , but that didn't stop me from grabbing my bag and running out.
It seemed as if no one was in the P.E department so I went and runned into the clothes room, where they keep all the clothes for any kind of subject.
I went through a lot of clothes, finding a nice black skirt, white shirt, the same tie as mine, black tights, and some black shoes.
However I couldn't find any blazers.
When I looked around, I finally saw something that would do for now, with the logo of my school.
It was a white scientist coat. It looked pretty neat on me.
When I leaned down to put my black shoes on, my glasses fell off my nose, and before I could catch them, they shattered. However, something suprised me, my vision was super sharp and I could see everything even better without the glasses.
I couldn't believe it. The electricity seem to change my eye sight. As I looked down on me, I saw my hair cascading over my shoulder, and once again I gasped.
My hair changed from dark brown to lighter with highlights.
I quickly runned to a mirror and I looked different. My skin was super pale and my blueberry eyes were now grey.
A sudden bust of things came into my mind and I felt the urge to get a pen and a paper and start writing.
It was all to do with physics, and it seemed to send happy vibes. I enjoyed it.
I smirked to myself, as I placed the things in my bag, and went out. I pushed the double doors open to the big place where everyone hangs out, and I placed my bag against the wall as I stepped once, showing myself to everyone confidently.
Everyone gasped and whispered, who am I.
"Everyone in the Harmony High, I am your new Pupil Concil, and your school captain, as Victoria Omega has left the school. I am...." I paused as everyone were shocked and some of the even smiled, as I smirked.
"Vicky Snow!"
