Third Person POV
Sun shine.
Beautiful breeze.
Store front.
This was all outside. The boys were inside, getting the final items for their joint apartment that they are now in for college. They were looking at lamps and lights.
"Oh this one is cuuuuuute." Josh said, letting go of Tyler's hand to pick up the curly-looking lamp. "How would this one look on my desk?"
"Is there one in black? I think that would suit you better." Tyler replied, looking at the other ones for him.
"Ooh great idea! I think they do." Josh squatted down to find that there were, in fact, black curly-looking lamps. "Found one!" He exclaimed.
"Perfect." Tyler looked up and smiled sweetly at his boyfriend. "It suits you perfectly. Now," he turned back around to grab two very different lamps. "This one," he lifted his left hand a little, showing a black and red wall lamp. "Or this one?" He lifted his right hand a little bit to show a pastel blue faucet-ish looking desk lamp. "I can't seem choose."
"Well, what color are you painting your room? And what colors will your room have in it?"
"It going to be a pastel pink with black trim and the closet doors will be pastel yellow. I think I'm going to go with the blue one then."
"Great idea, babe." Josh leaned over to kiss his amazing, perfect boyfriend. Tyler, of course, kissed back.
When they pulled away, Tyler offered, "Hey, we should finish our shopping and go out for lunch? How does that sound?"
"Perfect. As long as I get to pay." Josh didn't like it when Tyler paid for things for him.
"Fine, you can pay." Tyler pretended to be exasperated, but it didn't work because he quickly broke out into a smile. "I looooooooove you, JishJish."
"And I looooooooove you, too, TyTy. You make me so, so happy. I couldn't ask for a better boyfriend." Josh smiled and kissed Tyler on the cheek. "Thank you for choosing me." Josh whispered the last part into Tyler's ear.
"I'm glad, too, Josh. A wise choose on my part. Though, I don't understand why you're still with me. I feel like a bother sometimes."
"You definitely are not a bother. I feel like I'm the bother. Why do you put up with me?"
"I don't 'put up' with you. I love you, Josh. I couldn't ask for anymore from you because you are just too perfect and pure for this world. I can't wait to start college with you."
"Me neither. Okay, so let's get back to shopping. All we need now is, um," he looks at the list, "ah, yes, curtains. They are right this way I think." He heads in the direction of the curtain isle.
"Hey, wait up!" Tyler called as he started pushing the cart after Josh.
Once they got to the isle, Josh found the perfect curtains. They were red blackout curtains that matched his room's theme perfectly. Tyler had gotten pastel purple curtains. Man, he had an obsession with pastel things.
"Alright, where are we going to eat, Mr. Joseph?" Josh asked once they left the parking lot.
"How about Chick-fil-a?" Tyler looked over at Josh and squeezed their intertwined hands.
"Perfect" was all Josh said as they headed in the direction of the nearest Chick-fil-a.
Once they got there, they headed inside. Josh asked Tyler what he wanted and if he could please go find a table. Tyler told him what he wanted and went off to find a seat. H saw the perfect high chair window seat facing the road.
"How's this?" Tyler asked when Josh came over.
"I love it." Josh smiled as he got into his seat.
The food eventually came and the two ate, exchanging glances and little hand squeezes. They finished eating and headed back to their apartment, setting everything up and went to the living room to watch a movie.
"You pick tonight since I picked yesterday." Josh told Tyler before he sat down.
"Okay, how about Pete's Dragon?" Tyler picked up the DVD.
"I love that movie. Let's watch it." So, the boys snuggled
on couch, almost asleep when the credits started rolling.
"Hey, Josh, I'm going to head off to bed. Ill see you in the morning, okay?" Tyler said, getting up.
"Okay. Good night, snuggle bug. I'll see you in the morning. I love you." Josh planted a short but loving kiss on Tyler's lips. Tyler kissed back.
"Goodnight, Joshua. I love you, too." Tyler winked at Josh and headed to his room.
Oh. My. Gosh. That dam boy. I love him so much. Josh thought to himself as he drifted off to peaceful dreamland.
