"SEARCH THE ENTIRE PERIMETER!! IT COULDN'T HAVE GOTTEN FAR!!"

Distant shouting could be heard as red blobs covered the land, spreading out like a virus. Swords raised above all their heads with the intent to kill their intended target, if they can find whatever the target was.

'I gotta hide these, I gotta hide these... where do i hide them?!' Running and panting as it sprinted across the heavy forest like it's life depended on it, never looking back. In its paws was a box filled of colourful gemstones. Philias-crystals to be exact.

The creature holding the crystals screeched as a blast hit a tree merely metres away from it, causing it to run faster.

"MASTER XYRATHAUL , I SEE IT!"

"THERE'S A LINE OF WATER UP AHEAD, DON'T LET IT GET ACROSS!"

Every step made it feel like the red blobs were getting closer each time. The water was now in viewing distance, appearing to be at least 20 metres wide. The creature skidded to a halt and looked back, eyes widening as it sees the blobs narrowing in on it.

Out of sheer panic, the creature reaches a hand into the box, picking up one of the random coloured crystals and pointing it towards the blobs. Suddenly, smoke appeared around the creature. The closer blobs had to cover their eyes from the cloud of grey but once it dissipated, Xyrathaul, the leader of the Hathalian Race, roared in fury that their once-prisoner has escaped with his most precious possession; the Philias-Crystals.

After the smokescreen appeared, the creature used the paw not holding the box to cover its eyes. Hesitantly, it uncovered its reversed black cat eyes and looked around in awe. Surrounding the creature was a giant waterfall hole that went down for about 20 metres, vegetation and plenty of beautiful flowers surrounding the area.

'This should be a good place to hide...' The creature thought before walking up to the waterfall's pond below. It placed the box in the water and took all the crystals into its paws. It held them to the air and closed its eyes. All of a sudden, the crystals each started to glow as they floated upwards a couple of metres before flying away, spreading themselves around the forest.

The creature let out a yawn before walking to the small grass patch in the centre, sitting down and closing its eyes once again. It started glowing a bright white that no human eye could look at for it was the equivalent of the sun and once the light was gone, all that lay there was a kiwi sized egg that had orange stripes covering the shell.

All that could be heard were footprints from the animals around, as the creature fell into centuries worth of slumber...

A/N: Honestly? It could've been longer but here's a small sneak peak and what I'm working with ;)

It is so hard to fucking writing something when:

- Ya can't swear

- The main creature doesn't have pronouns yet or a name

- Trying to stay as ominous as possible

It was hard by I managed -w-'
