Chapter Thirty-Eight: Affected

"You're going down!" yells Mark the rangers attacked the monster as she started to fight back, she had her own sword and was practically fighting against the rangers. The monster knew this was coming and she especially knew that since Sean had been bit it would only be a matter of time before he gained the vampires' weaknesses. Vampiress just had to hold off until the sun would rise, and Sean would collapse and be completely weakened from the onslaught of sunlight. Sean called on his daggers as he attacked the monster striking her in the chest, she stumbled back and when it was clear that she was going to be destroyed; the rangers called on their final weapons to combine.

"Weapons combine!" they said at once. "Lightning Strike cannon, charged!"

"Rifle crossbow!" says Sammy and Dean. "Charge!" but the sun had just started to rise above the horizon, and it struck Sean which made him cry out in pain and lose grip on the cannon. Distracted, the rangers turned around to look at Sean wondering if he was okay.

"Sean?!" exclaims Mark.

"Are you okay?" asks Sam.

"Ah yes, looks like my plan is starting to take effect," says the monster.

"What plan?!" yells Tara. "What are you talking about?!"

"Ta ta rangers, hope you don't survive," with a burst of light, vampiress' wings appeared in her back and she took off into the air. Sammy and Dean knew what was happening and quickly dimorphed, the others followed suit as the brothers helped bring Sean back to the bunker. Upon arriving at the bunker, Sammy and Dean laid Sean on the couch.

"What happened?" says Colby as he came running in. "What's wrong with Sean?"

"And what did that creature mean when she said her 'plan' was in effect?" questions Katrina.

"Guys, it's not just any creature," says Sammy. "it's..."

"A vampiress, the queen of the vampires to be exact," finished Dean. The rangers looked at each other with worried expressions. They were unsure about how to react and had to figure out what to do. "I believe, that Vampiress had done something to Sean,"

"Either way," says Sammy. "We have to be careful; we don't know what plan Vampiress has and what she has done to Sean," he continued. "She might have turned him into a vampire,"

"A vampire?" says Mark with his eyebrows raised. "You really think that Sean is a vampire?"

"There's no possible way," says Sam. "Vampires don't exist," Colby looked at his friend and rolled his eyes like he had heard all this before.

"Really Sam? That's what you have doubts about?" he said. "You're fighting demons and ghosts but the only thing you don't believe is vampires?" he continued. "You were literally just fighting one not a few moments ago,"

"It doesn't matter if you believe it or not you two," responds Dean. "There's an easy way to test this theory out," Dean broke away from the group and made his way over to the kitchen at the same time Sean began to stir. Katrina looked at her friends and her boyfriend as they followed Dean into the kitchen.

"This is ridiculous," says Katrina. "Dean, there's no way that Sean is a vampire,"

"Trust me sweetheart," spoke Dean. "I know a vampire when I see one," Dean walked over to the fridge and pulled out a red Gatorade as well as a glass, setting both on the counter, Dean pulled out a sharp blade and placed it on his hand. Tara gasped as she watched Dean cut his hand with the sharp blade.

"Are you crazy Dean?!" exclaims Tara while she was trying to stop Dean from cutting his hand. Dean winced as he quickly wrapped a bandage around his hand and poured the Gatorade in the glass.

"Don't worry," says Sammy. "We've been doing this for years, and it's easy to tell who the vampire is,"

"I don't know about this you guys," spoke Mark. Dean flashed the rangers a smirk as he made his way back into the living room to see Sean was awake. As Dean walked over to Sean he held out the glass.

"Hey Sean, I take it you are thirsty, so why don't you have this," Dean handed Sean the glass as Sean's eyes went wide, quickly, he grabbed the glass and took a drink only to spit it out in disgust making the rangers back track.

"What is this?!" exclaims Sean.

"It's not blood if that's what you're getting at," answered Dean. "It's red Gatorade, only a vampire would be fooled into thinking this is blood," Lucifer, and Vampiress watched from the glass ball to see that Sean was turning into a vampire. Though they were slightly worried that Dean must have started to figure it out. Lucifer's face turned into a snarl as he watched the rangers try to figure out if Sean was a vampire.

"Vampiress," says Lucifer. "Tonight, I want you to finish that spell of yours so we can have that green ranger under our full control, as soon as possible, we must eliminate Sammy and Dean Winchester otherwise our plan is going to fail,"

"Yes, your majesty," says Vampiress as she called forth her wings and flew to the human world. Morgana watched from the sidelines and made her way over to lucifer. She was shaking her head as she crossed her arms over her chest.

"What?" spoke Lucifer as he turned to see Morgana standing not too far from him.

"I hope that this plan of yours actually works Lucifer," said Morgana. "How about to ensure that your plan doesn't fall apart, I could go out there and distract the rangers," spoke Morgana with an evil smirk on her face. Lucifer seemed to contemplate this for a few minutes then dismissed her.

"But sir!" exclaims Morgana.

"Morgana, when I need you to attack the rangers I will call you," said Lucifer cutting Morgana off. "Until then you're dismissed,"

"Yes sir," says Morgana as she bowed.

Meanwhile back at the bunker the rangers were all trying to figure out what was really going on. Dean knew this was going to happen and he was certain that he and his brother knew what happened to Sean. However, it was going to take a lot of convincing to get the rangers to understand.

"You think I'm a vampire?" says Sean in shock. "Why would you think that?!"
