Chapter Five: Training time
Ever since Sean joined the rangers in the last two days, he still had a hard time believing it. Until his present state, he was just an average YouTuber trying to make a living, and now here he was, being part of a team of heroes. He also had a hard time thinking that he didn't fit in anywhere and now here he was having to defend the world against a demon named Lucifer. They'd been living in the bunker for a few days now, and Dean had been going through and training them with all kinds of combat.
"Hey Sean." Mark called out, causing him to jump in fright and turn around.
"Mark!" Sean exclaimed. "Don't sneak up on me like that!" Mark shrugged, apologizing for what he had done and offered Sean to practice sparing. Last time Sean tried to fight hand to hand, he ended up landing on his butt and barely knew much about fighting. The two walked over to the gym as Dean was showing the girls and Sam how to fight. Kat had been practicing her archery while Tara and Sam were busy fighting with bow staff.
"Hey Sean," Dean said as he stopped guiding Tara and Sam with the bow staffs. "What took you two so long?"
"Sorry Dean," Mark said. "We're here though, and ready to learn."
"I'm not the best at fighting." Sean responded nervously. Dean shrugged and urged for Sean and Mark to step forward. Sean and Mark stepped across from each other, readying their stances to spar.
"You two are going to spar and I'll try to help guide you into improving." Sean nodded and told his friend not to hold out. In a flash, the two sparred. Mark made the first move and swung a punch at his friend, who blocked it with both his arms. Sean grabbed Mark by the arm and kicked him in the stomach. Mark fell over but used his feet to trip Sean and sent him sprawling onto the mat. Sean groaned and launched himself off his hands, getting back to his feet. Keeping his hands in front of his face to protect it, he fought back harder as Mark swung his leg to kick Sean, but he easily blocked that, then punched his friend. However, Mark saw it coming and grabbed Sean's arm, twisting it to the side and flipping Sean right onto his back, sending him to the ground as Mark kept his arm in place. Sean caved as Mark let him go and helped him to his feet. "You shouldn't let your guard down Sean, that's how Mark could stop you."
Even though Sean wanted to continue sparing, he had to get a break otherwise it would get messy and his confidence was weighing on him. Especially considering he had a hard time trying to keep up with his friend. How else was he supposed to deal with him? "I need a break." Sean said and walked out of the bunker. Ever since he became a ranger and saw how his friend handled it as the leader he wasn't sure if he was meant to be a ranger. The bunker sat outside of California, but it wasn't far from Los Angeles, whenever Sean felt overwhelmed, he'd always go on a walk while the rest of his team trained.

Lucifer watched through his glass ball and saw how the green ranger was all by himself, heading for the city. A thought occurred to him, and a smirk eventually appeared. If the ranger was alone, then it wouldn't stop Lucifer, nor could the ranger stop a monster.
"Azazel!" Lucifer called out. "Get in here!" The prince of hell came stumbling in, dressed in his royal attire with a goatlike cape and he held his staff in his hand.
"What is it, my liege?" Azazel asked.
"Send Bansheera to attack the green ranger." Lucifer ordered. Azazel took a step back, surprised that his master would ever decide to send Bansheera up to earth and attack a singular ranger.
"Bansheera?!" Azazel exclaimed. "You want Bansheera to go there and fight the green ranger? Alone?" Lucifer glared at his right-hand man, his bright red eyes shown sending shivers down Azazel's spine. "Yes, sir, I'll send the dark angels to battle. One puny ranger can't stop us. Her screams cause destruction and damage, it should be able to take out the green ranger." On cue, a hideous monster with wings, claws for hands and a long black dress entered, screaming at the top of her lungs. Azazel and Lucifer covered their ears as the screaming died down.
"Who has summoned me?" Bansheera yelled.
"I did," Lucifer said, stepping forward. "I need you to use your powers and defeat the green ranger and bring me the colt."
"Yes, my lord!" Bansheera exclaimed, bowing her head. She, along with Azazel and the dark angels, left hell in a dark cloud of black smoke.

Sean walked through downtown, heading toward a nearby coffee shop, when an unexpected blast sent him flying and onto the concrete with a groan.
"What's the matter, ranger? Can't take a hit?" A familiar voice said. Out of breath, Sean lifted his head as the smoke cleared, revealing Azazel, the dark angels and a weird-looking monster. He pushed himself to his feet and rolled his shoulder before readying himself for a battle. He'd been outnumbered and now here he was having to fight off the monsters before anyone else could get to the scene.
"You." Sean said, deadpan. "What are you doing here?"
"You and your buddies have gotten in our way. All we ask for is the colt, and you rebel against us." Azazel said.
"We will never let you get your hands on the colt." Sean said.
"We'll see about that," Azazel said. "Dark angels! Attack!" in a flock, the dark angels attacked Sean. Sean fought back against the dark angels, avoiding using his morpher unless he got overpowered. He fought hard, sending half the angels. What was supposed to be an easy fight turned out to be his worst nightmare. No matter how many times he defeated the dark angels, they kept coming and he couldn't figure out what the deal was. Halfway through the battle, a loud wail disrupted everything around him, causing citizens to scream in fear and run for their lives. The next thing Sean knew, they shot circular beams toward Sean, causing him to stumble and fall. Weakened, he became out of breath. The hideous monster he assumed was a banshee had caught him off guard.

The alarms went off throughout the bunker as the rangers raced over to the computer to see what all the ruckas was about.
"What happened?" Mark asked.
"Lucifer is up to his tricks again, and he's sent a monster to attack the city and Sean." Colby explained. The rangers watched on the computer witnessing their friend getting beaten. The monsters outnumbered Sean, and if they didn't act soon, their friend would fall.
"We need to help Sean." Sam said.
"Let's go!" The rangers said and ran out of the bunker, morphing into their suit and heading for the city.
