Chapter Fifty-Six: Christmas Present

While the rangers went to battle one of Lucifer's monsters, Dean was suddenly woken up to the wind blowing and a pillow smacking him in the face. Dean groaned and opened his eyes to see a man with a strange crown that resembled a Greek or Roman crown.

"Let me guess," says Dean. "You're the ghost of Christmas Present, am I correct?"

"That is correct, I need you to come with me," responds Christmas Present, he held out his hand toward Dean who reluctantly took it and stood up. "Before we go anywhere, I need you to drink this," the spirit handed Dean leather flask, Dean hesitated briefly but the spirit reassured him that it was safe. Dean took the flask and opened it, then he allowed the metal tip to touch his lips and poured a cool liquid into his mouth. The minute the liquid entered his mouth he felt calm and slightly happy which terrified him. It was like something out of a Jim Carey movie, once he handed the flask back to the spirit; it placed the flask in its coat pocket.

"Now come with me," says Christmas Present, Dean took his hand at the same time the world around him started to become wavy. Dean stumbled slightly; he had felt like he was about to fall over but Christmas Present seemed to reassure him that nothing was going to happen. They traveled through walls until they arrived at the living room. He saw his fellow rangers coming down the stairs in a hurry as the alarm had gone off.

"What the hell?" says Dean. "Why are we here? This seems like it's happening right now?"

"That's because it is Dean Winchester," answered Christmas Present. "Your team is about to go into battle to fight against one of Lucifer's soldiers,"

"What?! Why didn't they wake me up?!" exclaims Dean in anger and astonishment. "How had I not heard that alarm go off?"

"Be quiet and watch," Christmas Spirit held his hand up making Dean go silent.

"Should we go and wake Dean up?" asked Sean.

"Yes, you should!" yells Dean trying to get their attention.

"Nah, we can handle this thing, let him sleep," answers Sammy. Dean was in shock; his brother had allowed him to sleep when he knew well that Dean had to go into action. They were a team after all and as a team you never leave someone behind.

"Guys, the monster is attacking Los Angeles!" yells Colby. The rangers nodded and left the bunker while at the same time morphing into their ranger suits.

"What's the point of you showing this to me?" exclaims Dean.

"To show you what is happening, if you don't change your ways then something bad might happen to you," Responds Christmas Present. "Or worse to your team, come," the spirit grabbed Dean by the arm, disappeared and reappeared on the battlefield. Dean gasped as he saw Lucifer's monster, Greed fighting his team. The monster was dressed for battle he seemed to be wearing a toga and was carrying a large trident. From the way the battle was unfolding, the rangers were being destroyed. The only one who seemed to be doing some damage were Mark and Sammy. Suddenly things went from bad to worse as the rangers tried to summon their weapons.

"Silver bow!" exclaims Katrina as she summoned her weapon. "Crossbow mode!" her weapon turned into a crossbow as she tried to shoot Greed in the chest. Greed knocked each arrow like it was nothing, at the same time his weapon began to glow so bright that it nearly blinded Dean. Immediately Katrina was hit with the trident, she flew back and dimorphed. Dean's reaction did not go like he had planned, his team was losing each time one of them tried to attack they were struck by the trident until only two rangers were left standing. Sammy and Mark saw what was happening, they walked over to their friends and quickly fled from battle. Greed laughed evilly as the rangers had gone back to the bunker.

"This can't be happening right now," thought Dean. "They were doing so well, what's happened to them?!" Christmas Present hadn't said anything but instead Dean found that they were right back where they were. They were inside the bunker and standing by the Christmas tree, he looked down at the tree and saw that his name was on one of the packages his heart plummeted, but he focused on what was directly ahead of him. Mark, Sammy, and Colby were trying to keep the rangers from killing each other over stuff that they wanted. It hadn't been working out too well for them. No matter what they tried to do the others would not do anything.

"Sam," says Colby. "This isn't you talking you've never been this greedy before!"

"Shut it Colby! You don't know anything; our channel is meant to be mine! That's why my name is always first!" exclaims Sam.

"Sean, you are one of the kindest people I know! You would never do something like this!" says Mark.

"Mark! I think we know who should have the most subscribers, it should be me!" yells Sean. Dean couldn't watch this anymore, he turned toward Christmas Present wishing that he could go back to bed and curl up.

"I can't watch this anymore, let's get out of here! Please!" yells Dean. Christmas Present sighed and nodded his head. He pressed his hand on Dean's forehead sending him right back to bed and therefore allowing the last spirit to arrive.
