Somewhere within a place that looked like it was underground, laid ancient castle ruins.

Inside were swarms of Hidiacs and other creatures called Styxoids who held staff/spear weapons, had skull-like heads, wore brown boots and gloves, and had knights armor around their waist.

Suddenly, all the Hidiacs and Styxoids around the place muttered and growled, when a Styxoid approached a Hidiac who had returned from somewhere, pushing two Hidiacs away as it did.

 "Ah! You failed Morticon!" The Styxoid growled, grabbing the Hidiac. "For that, you will pay!"

It threw the other grunt down towards the center of the throne room, before it landed on its back.

"Uh!" The Hidiac grunted before it got up and clutched its shoulder, staring at a figure, who sat in a throne, holding a large bronze sword.

It was a monster resembling an undead cyborg, had machinery around the bulk of his body fused into his blue skin, and had a muffler pointing up on the right side of his head. This was none of other than Morticon, a past enemy of the Mystic Force.

"I sent you and the other Hidiacs to the Surface World to bring back the source of the powerful magic that I have sensed, and you return with nothing? Explain yourself, soulless mutant!" Morticon began as he stood up from the throne.

"But wait, Lord Morticon! There was these color-coded wiazrds that interfered with our mission and the source got away!" Hidiac explained, getting Morticon's attention.

"Color-coded wizards?" Morticon repeated, before realization hit him. "Did these wizards have matching uniforms?" he asked the grunt.

"Yes... though they called themselves the 'Power Rangers'." the Hidiac replied.

Morticon looked on in disbelief before anger overtook him. "Power Rangers. That miserable, infuriating, stubborn Mystic Force!" He roared out with rage as he then slashed his sword at the Hidiac, destroying it in an instant, before stabbing his weapon into the ground which unleashed a powerful shockwave that caused parts of his throne room to collapse and destroy a few other Hidiacs and Styxoids.

"Listen up, my undead warriors!" He roared, walking forward. "After Queen Alsatia revived us, you have all wanted revenge against the Mystic Force for destroying the Master many years ago. And now, our time to avenge our fallen master has come! After we find the source, we will use its powerful magic to destroy the Mystic Force and anyone else that dares to get in our way!" 

 All of the Hidiacs and Styxoids in the throne room roared and cheered with their weapons raised. The motor on the side of Moritcon's head spun around and revved up, shooting smoke from the muffler.

""We underestimated the Rangers and paid for it dearly, but no longer. We will be victorious. We will finally rule over the Surface World!" Morticon finished his speech with his sword raised high into the air while the Hidiacs and Styxoids roared and cheered much louder than before.

Magnolia Station

After deciding to help Eclair and Momon together, the Rangers and Team Natsu joined the pair at Magnolia's train station to take a train to Rose Garden. Now they were waiting for the train to arrive to the station. Lucy, Momon, Wendy, Ayumi, Happy and Carla were waiting on a bench, while Eclair sat a bit farther from them. Sora, Reina, Cyrus and Kiba all stood nearby as Natsu and Gray were arguing for something irrelevant, and Erza wasn't there because she wanted to pick up some things before leaving.

But there was one thing about this world that got the Ranger's attitude as it was more than just the kingdoms. It was a world of Magic, as unbelievable as that sounded.

Magic has been around for centuries in Earth Land and Fiore and is used in everyday life for various needs. And there were those who used magic in life as their occupation. They were referred to as wizards, more commonly known as Mages. The wizards belonged to various guilds and performed jobs on commission. There are a number of large guilds within the country.

The majority of the advanced technology and machinery in this world is powered by Magic, such as weapons, transportation, and everyday conventional tools, all powered by Lacrima or a Mage's own Magic as its power source. The minority of this world's technology relies on different power sources, reminiscent of the Industrial Age, such as steam locomotives and horse-drawn carriages.

"Shouldn't someone stop them?" Cyrus asked as he and the other Rangers watched Natsu and Gray.

"I don't think that would be a good idea..." Wendy said awkwardly.

"Yeah, they're always like that." Lucy waved it off.

"Just wait until Erza gets here," Happy added while eating a fish.

"I must say, it's good to have at least more members in the guild who don't take part in the brawls," Carla said as she looked at the Rangers. "Those two could learn a little from you all."

Sora chuckled. "Well, we don't look for fights...usually fights find us instead."

"Ain't that the truth?" Reina snorted as she leaned against a pole.

"By the way, what kind of magic do you use?" Kiba asked the FT group. "I'm kind of curious."

"I'm a Celestial Spirit Mage," Lucy said proudly as she showed her keys to the Rangers. "Celestial Spirit Magic is a magic in which the user summons Celestial Spirits of the Zodiac by opening their gates through the use of Celestial Spirit Gate Keys."

"Carla and I can use Aera," Happy joined in before a pair of angelic wings appeared on his back. He started flying around to show the Rangers what he could do with Aera.

"Oh, so you can fly on your own," Cyrus said, really impressed before turning to the blue-haired girl.

 "And you, Wendy?" Ayumi asked, turning her attention to the youngest girl.

"I use Sky Magic," Wendy replied Wendy. "I am the Sky Dragon Slayer."

"Dragon Slayers!?" Sora asked with a surprised tone in his voice. He remembered that one member of the guild mentioned that Fairy Tail was unstoppable now that they had 5 Heroes apart from three Dragon Slayers.

"Y-yes," the little girl said. "I know it might be difficult to believe, but-"

"Wow, that's amazing!" Sora said, surprising Wendy, who smiled and blushed a bit as she was getting embarrassed by Sora's praise.

"Natsu is also a Dragon Slayer," Happy said. "He's the Fire Dragon Slayer."

"Hardcore." Kiba commented. "How many have you guys slain?" Lucy, Carla, and Happy all sweat dropped as Wendy deflated.

"Uhh... well. Zero," She said sheepishly.

"Oh? How are you Dragon Slayers, then, if you don't mind my asking?" Cyrus inquired.

"It's more of a... uh... well, it's more of a name only kind of thing, I guess," Wendy said lamely. The Rangers nodded at this, deciding not to press the point any further for the moment.

"Wait, wasn't there a third one?" Reina recalled, curiously.

"Gajeel," Carla replied. "Didn't you talk with him when we were in the guild?"

"I don't think so," Ayumi replied, who didn't remember having talked with anyone called Gajeel. 

"What about Gray? What kind of mage is he?" Sora asked  while pointing his thumb at the still-arguing duo.

"He uses Ice-Make Magic," Lucy answered. "It's a type of Molding Magic which utilizes the element of ice. He can create a variety of objects out of ice to be used for offensive, defensive or miscellaneous purposes."

"Fire and Ice," Cyrus said, while looking at the two mages who were still arguing with their fists. "It makes sense why those two are rivals. And what kind of magic does Erza use?"

"Requip," someone replied, and the others could tell that it was Erza. "My magic allows me to store a lot of weapons and armors in pocket dimensions and summon them during battle."

"Oh, Erza, you're-" Sora stopped talking when he saw the amount of luggage the redhead mage brought with her. He wondered why she would need so many things.

"Wow..." Reina uttered in surprise. "That's a lot of luggage for one person."

"Let's get along together today!" Gray cheered as he and Natsu suddenly started dancing together.

"Aye, sir!" Natsu agreed in the same manner.

"'Aye'???" Sora, Ayumi, and Kiba blinked in confusion.

"Their attitude changed drastically when she arrived," Cyrus observed with surprise.

"That's Erza for you," Happy said, and then the train arrived.

"Blegh..."

Sora and the other Rangers soon found themselves on a train. Sora and Ayumi were sitting one side of a seat with Eclair and Momon (the latter being in the former's arms) while Lucy and Wendy sat in front of them with Carla in the middle of the girls.

Across from them in another seat was Reina, Cyrus, and Kiba on one side with Natsu, Gray, Erza and Happy on the other. Though the Dragon Slayer was hunched over in pain.

"As usual, you look horrible." Gray muttered to the pink-haired mage.

"Uhh, is he okay?" Ayumi asked, looking over at the Dragon Slayer.

"Aye, he has trouble with transportation." Happy said.

"You mean motion sickness?" Sora asked.

Happy nodded. "If Natsu gets on some form of transportation, then he gets sick."

"Well, that's a weakness that is..." Well, uncommon." Cyrus commented.

Happy then looked over at Wendy. "Can't you use your magic, Wendy?" He asked, while patting his friend on the back comfortingly.

"The more I use it, the less it works. So, I probably shouldn't." The young Dragon Slayer said, apologeticlly.

"I'm gonna hurl..." the pinkette moaned as he looked down, causing Cyrus, Kiba and Reina to slightly life their feet up in alert.

"Please don't." The Yellow Ranger muttered.

"Isn't there spell for that? Cause I really don't want Pinky throwing up on my shoes." Reina whispered to Cyrus.

"Well, since we have the Mystic Morphers, I suppose I could try something." Cyrus whispered back. "I just hope it works."

He then pulled out his Mystic Morpher and looked over at the groaning pinkette. "Hey, Natsu? I think I can help with your motion sickness." Cyrus said surprising everyone except for the Rangers.

"You can do that?" Wendy asked in curiosity.

"I think so, give me a sec," Cyrus said with a nod as he pointed his Morpher at the Dragon Slayer. "Here goes. Finishio!" He cast as blue magical energy surrounded Natsu as the EL group looked on in interest.

"What's he doing?" Gray asked Sora as Eclair looked over at the scene from the corner of her eye.

"He's using the 'Finishio' spell. It heals injuries, prevents allergic reactions, and hides from evil." Sora told him.

Natsu quickly sat up with a bit of surprise and couldn't feel any stomach pain anymore. "Whoa, I feel so much better now!" He exclaimed in joy. "It's like I got hit with Wendy's Troia spell!"

"Wow, that's amazing!" Lucy said with awe as she gazed at the Morpher. "I've never seen a magic item heal someone of motion sickness!"

"Wow...!" Momon gasped in awe, while Eclair looked on in surprise.

"How many spells do you guys have?" Wendy asked them.

"It's like what Sora said back at the guild: We'd be here all day if we listed all of the spells that we know." Reina replied, reminding the Sky Dragon Slayer and the other members of Team Natsu what the Red Ranger said.

"I've never seen magic like that before." Éclair softly spoke as she was still in awe at what she saw.

"Yeah, our spells are pretty cool." Kiba commented with a toothy grin on his face before looking at Éclair. "Am I right?"

Instead of responding to Kiba's question, Éclair just turned her head away from everyone and stared out the train window.

Lucy decided to use this chance to know more about the woman. "So Éclair, where do you come from originally?" She asked.

"I honestly don't know. I don't have any clear memories of it." Éclair responded in a neutral tone.

"Oh, you mean like a form of amnesia?" Ayumi joined in. "Is that why you can't remember any of it?"

"Perhaps that's the answer." Eclair uttered. "The odd thing is what I do remember is that I have never cared much about wizards. Especially the nosy kind."

Ayumi blinked at this while Lucy began to pout and looked away.

"Shame on you! Also she lacks of social graces, she's a good person at heart. So please forgive her rudeness." Momon apologized.

"Pointless chatter." Éclair blurted.

"Yeah, she's great." Lucy retorted sarcastically.

 "Don't worry. I'm sure she'll come around eventually." Ayumi told the blonde, reassuringly.

Later on, the group had arrived in Rose Garden, a bright-colored city overflowing with Magic.

 The Rangers were amazed as practically every establishment within sight used magic and sold magic items. From restaurants that poof meals to the table, theme parks with floating carnival rides and streets filled with market stalls that use magic to present their products such as ice cream shaped like snowman and teapot that pours into six teacups. There are also several armory stores that sell weapons and armor.

Besides the cable car trains, residents regularly fly on magic brooms and carpets as mode of transportation. Throughout the town there are small, floating lanterns and pillars with large cyan- colored Lacrimas at the top that light up at night. At the town's exterior lies several floating lights that form a ring around the city.

"Wow!" Ayumi exclaimed as her eyes sparkled, "This--Is-- AMAZING!!"

"Right? There's magic practically everywhere you look," Gray said in wonder.

"Either they're having a festival, or this is just a normal thing for them." Sora remarked gazing up at the lights.

"Nice..." Reina breathed, looking around the scene and the sights. "Definitely not Japan." 

"I'll say." Cyrus nodded as he fixed his glasses a little. "The view is something else."

"There's so many people here!" Kiba exclaimed as he took in the numerous faces around them.

"Yo, Happy! Let's grab some grub," Natsu said to his companion.

"Aye sir!" Happy agreed, sprouting his wings as he took off after his partner.

"Well... why don't we check into the Hills Hotel and enjoy ourselves tonight?" Erza spoke up. "But do remember that there may be some Hidiacs here, so we shouldn't let our guards down regardless. And that depends if and when they'll appear." 

"So basically, keep your guard up, but try to have some fun?" Sora nodded in understanding. 

 "Sound good to me!" Kiba grinned happily.

Soon, everyone went off to do their own thing, while the Rangers stayed behind. 

"So, what do we do now?" Cyrus asked his friends.

"Why don't we split off and go check out the sights?" Ayumi suggested with a shrug. "Plus, we can still keep in contact with our Morphers."

"In that case, I'll stay with Kiba just to make sure he doesn't get himself into trouble." Reina said, gesturing to the blonde with her thumb.

Kiba looked dumbfounded at this. "What makes think that I'll get myself into trouble?"

 Reina could only look at Kiba with a deadpanned expression on her face. But before she could speak, Kiba beat her to the punch. "Actually, you know what? Forget I asked. I don't want to know." 

"Well then, I wouldn't mind checking out the magic items they have on display." Cyrus informed them.

"Guess that leaves me and Ayu left." Sora said, looking at the Pink Ranger. "What are you going to do?"

Ayumi tilted her head in response. "Oh, umm..." She thought raised a finger to her chin.

"Why don't you two go look around together?" Reina suggested, causing the pair to look at her. "I mean, it's not like either of you has better plans."

Sora rubbed his head with a laugh. "Yeah, I guess you're right." He laughed before looking over at Ayumi. "What about you, Ayu?" 

The pinkette blinked at this as her heart leapt and her cheeks heated up. "Y-Yeah...um sounds great!" She replied meekly while playing with her hair.

"Great! Now, let's get a move on!" Kiba exclaimed before he took off in a random direction.

"HEY! DON'T GO OFF ON YOUR OWN!" Reina shouted as she soon gave chase.

Sora, Ayumi, and Cyrus all watched on with sweatdrops on their heads before the latter turned to the former pair. "With that, I'm gonna go check out their merch."

The Red Ranger nodded, "Sure thing. Hey, come on, Ayu." He grabbed her hand, pulling her along and she gasped. He looked back with a raised eyebrow and she tried to smile a little, laughing self-consciously. The three proceeded to head into town and enjoy the sights.

Soon, after everyone began exploring, although Eclair was still scornful about magic, as she and Momon tagged along with Lucy. Wendy and Carla visited the amusement parks, where they tried to play some games, but did get in trouble, Gray was also looking at other commodities, whilst having a snack, Natsu and Happy were eating a lot of food they could enjoy after the long train ride, so that he could put his motion sickness behind him. Erza, meawhile, visted the weapons shop, to check out many different swords and other types of melee gear that would suit her, and armor. When Lucy bought some ice cream, she wanted to give Eclair some, but she refused, leading to her disappointment. 

However, Erza saw a wedding dress that made her surprised, just as Wendy and Carla were passing by. They thought it'd be a perfect dress for her to try on. Of course, Gray did get in trouble with the guards for stripping down to his boxers. Poor Natsu and Happy, however, had to do some staff work in the kitchen, so that they could go free. Then Eclair looked at Lucy, as they continued to explore,

On the Rangers' side, the team was off and doing their own things. Cyrus was browsing over the many magic items on display, as well as the magic that the local mages were wielding.

Kiba and Reina came across someone showing off magic carpets, even offering the duo for ride. Of course, neither weren't going to pass up on that!

Sora and Ayumi wandered through the streets, taking in the sights and sounds of the city. During this, Ayumi was growing more self-conscious when it came to Sora, even though she'd always been very comfortable in his presence. But now, when the boy jokingly made a comment about her messily braided hair, she blushed and hastily combed back any stray hairs. Throughout their walk, she forced herself to keep at ease, but there were times when her guard was lowered and she felt her heart skip a beat.

It was then Sora noticed a space on the streets where children sat about, sketching out images with chalk. "Hey Ayu, you want to try that out?" Ayumi looked over at where he was gesturing before her eyes lit up. She bobbed her head eagerly and set off. She borrowed some colored chalk from the kids and set about drawing.

"Well, this is perfect for you." Sora grinned as he watched Ayumi have some fun.

"It's probably gonna take a while." She added and already sat down near the others. Sora followed her example, squatting.

As she said, Ayumi was drawing for at least an hour before she stood to her feet, wiping sweat from her brow at the large symbol of the Hero Force logo.

Some of the kids nearby came over, mouths open in awe at the art as it was surrounded by several townspeople they'd come across so far.

Sora looked on at their friend's work of art in admiration, then to the artist. Ayumi walked over to him after receiving several compliments.

A little while later, Team Natsu, Eclair and Momon soon met in the Hill Hotel, where everyone sat while Erza got the room keys. "You room keys? Yes. Just a moment, please." The clerk replied

"Thank you." Erza responds as she leans against the desk, smiling.

Natsu sighs as he seats back in his seat and glances at the red head knight. "Well,  Erza seems like she's in a way better mood than usual."

"I'm pretty sure it has something to do with the wedding dress she bought earlier." Wendy replied thoughtfully.

"WHAT!?" Everyone, minus Eclair and Momon exclaimed in disbelief.

"Problem?" Erza asked with a glare.

"Er, nothing!" everyone replied quickly.

It was then Momon noticed that a few faces weren't with them. "Hey, where are Sora and the others?"

The others then looked around and saw that the team wasn't with them. "Now that you mentioned it, I haven't seen them since we spilt up earlier." Gray spoke up.

"Maybe they lost track of time while looking around the city?" Lucy wondered outloud.

"It's likely," Carla commented, her arms folded. "Considering they're not of this world. Perhaps they wanted to take in the sights."

"That makes sense." Happy said in agreement.

It seemed like forever before some of the festival lights came to a close and it grew dark once more. The Rangers were now regrouped on a bridge and Ayumi rolled her shoulders. "Well, that was nice." She commented.

 "Yeah." Cyrus nodded, before looking around. "The magic items they had on display were something else. Much different from home."

"Dude, that's nothing. Reina and I got to ride on an actual flying carpet. It was so awesome!" Kiba exclaimed in glee.

"That we can all agree on." Sora spoke up. 

It was then Reina moved up beside Ayumi and whispered in her ear. "So, how was your day with Sora?"

Startled by the sudden question and appearance of her friend, Ayumi let out a squeak. "W-Wh-What!?"

This got the attention of their male teammates. "What's wrong, Ayu?" Sora asked her.

"Er, nothing!" Ayumi replied quickly with an awkward smile. "Nothing at all!"

The Red Ranger looked a bit confused by her behavior, when suddenly they were alerted by the sounds of screaming and explosions nearby.

They rushed to the side of the bridge where the sound came from, and looked down below. There was specks of light, and also some places on fire. "Sounds like trouble!" Ayumi stated, seeing what was happening down below.

"Hidiacs?" Cyrus suggested.

"Or the boss!" Kiba guessed.

"Maybe both." Reina chose.

"Only one way to find out." Ayumi said, as she led the group down the bridge.

"In any case, let's Ranger up." Sora said before pulling out his Mystic Morpher, prompting the other Rangers to do the same. "Ready!"

"Ready!" the others said as they put their morphers in wand mode, then pressed the three buttons.

"Magical Source, Mystic Force!"

The screen split into five, Kiba in the top left, Sora in the top middle, Cyrus in the top right, Reina in the bottom left, and Ayumi in the bottom right.

Galwit Mysto Ranger

A spell shot out from their wands, creating a spell seal above each of them. Their Mystic spirits came ut of the spell seals and landed behind them, as they did their actions.

"Yah!" they yelled, jumping up.

They went through the spell seals, morphing up, then they turned as their helmets came on, before doing their Mystic hand poses.

"Yah!" they shouted.

Back in the town, the townspeople continue to run away in fear as the Hidiacs continue to attack everything in their sight.

"Run as fast as you can, humans! Because no one will save you!" The Styxoid leader said maniacally, while its fellow grunts blasted everything in their sights with purple colored explosive slime balls from their mouths, creating explosions that caused more damage to the city with people running for their lives.

The Styxoid leader couldn't contain its laughter at the sight of these weak humans fleeing in fear. "That's right! Keep destroying everything in your way until there's nothing left!" He ordered his army to continue to cause chaos throughout the city.

"Leave them alone!" 

Everyone turned and saw the Rangers charged on the scene, which were tormenting a bunch of civilians.

Cyrus and Ayumi both turned around near a man, as the others began to fight the foot soldiers.

"Go!" Cyrus yelled.

"Get to safety!" Ayumi yelled, pointing forward.

All of the civilians began to run off as the Rangers kept the Hidiacs away.

"Ah, the Mystic Force." The Styxoid leader growled before pointing its weapon at the Rangers. "We know you have the Source! Hand her over!"

The other Rangers turned toward the grunt leader in confusion by what it said.

"The Source?" Sora questioned.

"Is said 'her'?" Kiba blinked. "Is it...talking about Eclair?"

"Well, Momon did say that those creeps were after her," Reina replied before remembering something what Éclair said.

"Whatever the reason is, we need to stop these guys now." Sora declared before turning to the two girl Rangers. "Ayumi, you and Reina get to the hotel to let the others know what's happening. Cyrus, Kiba, and I will deal with the Hidiacs."

"Are you sure?" Ayumi asked him, her tone laced with concern.

"No worries, we got this!" Kiba replied, giving a thumbs up.

"Divide and conquer, I can get behind that." Cyrus agreed with a nod.

"Oh no you don't!" The Styxoid leader commanded, throwing its hand out. "Attack!"

The Hidiacs all then charged at the Rangers, who responded in kind.

"Let's get 'em!" Sora shouted, bringing out his Magi Staff in sword mode. "Magi Staff!"

He slashed it against a Hidiac's axe as it tried to hit him, then he tried to slash another, but missed, but then he slashed a third across the chest, followed by a fourth. He jumped up and dived towards the Styxoid leader to slash it, but it blocked his sword with its staff, locking them together, before it lifted its staff up, knocking Sora back slightly. Sora ducked and spun around as it tried to slash him, before he blocked another with his sword as he backed away.

Kiba ducked as a Hidiac tried to slash him with its blade, before he grabbed its arm, then kicked its back, flipping it onto its back.

Cyrus grabbed one's arm as he spun around, before he pushed it away, then he spun around and kicked another's blade, making it flip onto its back.

"Go!" Sora called out to the girls.

"Got it." Reina spoke, turning her attention to her fellow female Ranger. "Come on, Ayu."

"...Okay," Ayumi responded with a nod, before the girls pulled out their Mystic Morphers to use another spell. "Mysto Aerotan."

Then two broomsticks appeared in front of the duo as they grabbed them in their left hands, as they then typed in the spell code 1-2-9, before throwing the broomsticks in the air as they pointed their Morphers at them.

"Galwit Mysto Aerotan!" Reina and Ayumi chorused as the broomsticks turned into hovering bikes called the Mystic Racers, as they was floated in the air. 

The girls then jumped onto their Mystic Racers and moved their hands in front of the Racer to pour their magic into the hover bikes, activating the engines.

"Firing, engines!" She said before placing both hands on the handle of the Mystic Racer. "Let's ride!" Reina then took off into the sky at high speed.

"Good luck, guys!" Ayumi called out to her friends, before flying after Reina.

Hills Hotel

After finishing her shower, Lucy exits the bathroom, with nothing but a towel as she joins with Éclair and Momon; The former looking out the window.

"Hey I'm done with the bathroom. If you like you can use it if you like." Lucy informed.

"..." Éclair continued to stare at the view of the town in silence.

"Éclair..." Momon trailed off.

Lucy frowned at this. "Listen, if you wish to be alone, I'm sure I can get another room." She said.

"I don't mind sharing." Eclair replied, surprising the duo. "The two of us are alike. We both have the same look in our eyes."

"What do you mean by that?" Lucy questioned.

"Your eyes. They serve as a window to your past." Eclair said, turning to face the blonde. "They tell me that you've known sadness. I never thought I'd see that in a magic user," she said.

"My eyes tell you that?" asked the celestial mage.

 Eclair continued on. "Those friends of yours...the five from earlier. They don't seem to be like any mages I've come across."

 "Huh...?" Lucy hummed in thought.

Suddenly, a dark shadow appeared behind them, and began to attack them with a small number of knives. Lucy, who was nearby, quickly dodged the projectiles as she ran to Eclair's side.

Soon, something emerged from within the shadows, revealing a figure whose face was hidden behind a white mask with black eye holes and red lines above the eyes.

 He wore a dark gray hooded cloak which is fastened just below the collar and hides most of his body. Under the lower half of his cloak, he wears gray trousers and boots.

"The calm acquiescence of a captive with a terrifying thrill of prey," The masked man said in a deep voice. "Choose."

"What? No!" Lucy remarked bravely.

"I'm not here for you," the assassin scoffed.

Realization hit the blonde as she looked back at Eclair, who was worried.

"Run, now!" Lucy said to her.

Eclair and Momon did so, just as the masked man launched at them. Lucy grabbed a nearby chair and hurled it at the man, which shattered upon impact.

Ayumi and Reina were seen flying through the air and saw that they were now approaching the hotel. "There it is!" The former called out.

"Ahhh!"

The duo perked at the sudden voice just as they saw Lucy jumping out of the window.

"Is that Lucy?" Ayumi questioned outloud. "Why is she jumping out of the hotel window while wearing a bath towel?" 

 As if to answer her question, they soon saw a hooded figure jumping out of the window and after the blonde. "If I had to guess, it's probably because of that." Reina noted. "Come on!"

The female Rangers poured more magic into their Racers to increase their speed.

Meanwhile, the Celestial Mage and Eclair ran for their lives with Momon flying beside them.

"Do you know what this guy wants from you?" Lucy asked the other woman.

"Above us!" Momon exclaimed just as the masked man hurled more knives from his sleeves.

The girls picked up their speed as they dodged the projecticles. "Into the alley! Quickly!" Lucy cried.

They did just that, but still the attacker pursued them. Suddenly they fell over a railing, bounced off the roof of a stall, and landed in a pile of sacks that seemed to cushion them.

"Eclair! Lucy! Are you okay!? Talk to me!" Momon cried as he stared down at them.

Above, the masked man glared at them. 

"Go forth and seek her blood, 'O blade of mine," he said, as a sword emerged from his sleeve.

"Eclair!" Lucy cried, holding said woman close to her.

The man then lunged at the pair with the intent to kill. But before his blade could strike...

"Magi Staff, Vine Power!"

 Several tree vines emerged from the walls surrounding the group and restrained him, surprising the assassin, the two girls, and the little bird.

"What!?" The masked man exclaimed.

"Vines...?" Eclair questioned in confusion.

At that moment, Ayumi and Reina showed up on their Mystic Racers, which they jumped off of. They both landed near the trio and got ready to face their foe.

"You guys! Thank God, you're here!" Lucy said with relief.

"Reina! Ayumi!" Momon chimed in with joy, happy to see the Rangers again.

Eclair's eyes widened in surprise at this, especially the suits that they were wearing. 

"Are you three okay?" Ayumi asked, looking over at them.

"We're fine, but where are the others?" Lucy asked as she didn't see them around.

"Do you remember the same the monsters that attacked you back in Magnolia?" The Pink Ranger asked. "Well, they're here looking for Éclair, but Sora, Cyrus, and Kiba are doing their best to hold them off."

"More importantly..." Reina cut in, pointing her Magi Staff at the trapped man. "Who the hell are you?"

"I don't know." Lucy told her. "He attacked us and said he's after Eclair!"

Before anything else could be said, the masked assassin used his sword to cut himself free from the vines before he landed on the ground.

Reina and Ayumi soon stood together as they got ready to face the man. "Who are you and what do you want with Eclair?" the latter questioned.

The man looked at them, taking in their appearances. "Knowing will not help you." He said, before drawing a set of three claws from his hands. "Now, stand aside."

"Yeah, how about you make us?" Reina challenged, before turning her Magi Staff into its Axe Mode. Ayumi soon pulled out her own Magi Staff as well.

"So be it." The masked man responded, holding out his claws.

"Yah!" the two Rangers yelled, charging forward.

Meanwhile back in the city, the trio of male Rangers were currently holding off the swarm of grunts and turning the tides.

Cyrus somersaulted forward before he landed on his feet, then he did a sideways handspring forward past several Hidiacs, then he jumped slightly and spun around, kicking one's blade, knocking it down. He turned and ducked as another ran past and tried to slash him with its blade, before he jumped and twirled around, then he landed crouched down. He rolled forward as one tried to slash his with its axe, before he spun around and tackled another, then he side flipped to his left as a third tried to slash his legs. He ducked as one ran past him, before he kicked another's blade, then spun around and kicked a third's, then he ducked as a fourth tried to slash her from behind with its blade, tackling a fifth as he did, then he got up, then did a jump spin kick, hitting a sixth's blade and knocking it down.

Kiba grabbed hold of a railing and jumped over it, kicking one away off another, before he put his feet onto a access disabled ramp, then he turned right. He ducked as another tried to slash him while running past him, before he put his hands on the back rail, then kicked his legs out, hitting a third's blade, making it stumble back. He then spun around and kicked a fourth's chest, knocking it down, then he turned and ducked as the third tried to slash him, before a fifth came over. He grabbed its forearm, before he knocked its arm up, knocking it over the railing, then he kicked another's chest, then spun around and kicked it again, knocking it down at the end of the ramp.

Sora and the Styxoid leader both jumped up as an explosion went off behind them, Sora with his sword, both diving while facing each other. The Styxoid leader blocked three slashes from Sora's sword with its staff, as they dived upwards, then it tried to whack him with its arm, but missed as he ducked. It then blocked a kick with its forearm, before he hit it slightly with his sword, sending it flying away.

"AH!" The grunt grimaced.

It landed on hus feet and looked up, before it waved its staff.

"Take this!" it yelled, shooting blasts from its wepaon.

Sora dived to his right as an explosion went off behind him.

"Back at ya!" he yelled, shooting magic from his Magi Staff.

The magic hit the ground behind the grunt leader, creating an explosion, knocking it up.

"AHH!" it screamed.

Sora landed on his feet, as Kiba and Cyrus came over to him, having completely destroyed the Hidiacs.

"Let's finish this, guys!" The Red Ranger declared.

"Right!" Cyrus and Kiba nodded, before they all held up their Magi Staffs. 

"Hyah!" they yelled, twirling them around.

They all held them up, then bent them back.

"Magi Staff, full power!" they shouted.

"Uh-oh..." The grunt leader gaped in shock.

The Magi Staffs all began to spin around, creating a Mystic Boomerang as they combined, before Sora held it up, as the others turned around and ducked.

"Suck on this! Mystic Boomerang!" Sora yelled as he threw the Mystic Boomerang towards the Styxoid leader. "Hyah!"

"AHH!" The leader screamed, as it hit it. "This can't be happening!"

Energy began to flow through it rapidly as it held it's chest.

"AHH! Master, forgive me!" the grunt screamed, before falling over and exploding.

"Checkmate!" Sora said.

"Heck yeah!" Kiba said, as they all caught their Magi Staffs.

"Now, we can go see if the girls are fine." Cyrus brought up.

"Right, let's move!" Sora nodded as the trio held up their weapons. "Mysto Aerotan."

Like the girls, a broomstick appeared in front of the boys as they grabbed them in their left hands, as they then typed in the spell code 1-2-9, before throwing the broomsticks in the air as they pointed their Morphers at them.

"Galwit Mysto Aerotan!" They chorused as the broomsticks turned into Mystic Racers, as they floated in the air.

They then jumped onto their Mystic Racers and moved their hands in front of the Racer to pour their magic into the hover bikes, activating the engines.

"Firing, engines!" They called before placing both hands on the handle of the Mystic Racer and blasted off into the sky at high speed.

Meanwhile, with the girls...

"Magi Staff, Axe Mode!" Reina shouted as the short staff turned into an axe.

"What..? Did that stick just turn into an axe?" Eclair thought in suprise.

The masked man looked on with surprise, before narrowing his eyes.

Reina then slammed her axe down on the ground, sending a wave of green magical energy into the ground which then moved towards the masked man as he immediately dodged the attack by jumping to the side.

"Oh no, you don't!" Ayumi called out, pointing her Magi Staff at the man. "Magi Staff, Wind Power!" 

A sudden gust of wind flew past the Pink Ranger and towards the masked man, blowing him backwards.

Skidding across the ground, the masked man soon came to a stop before looking back at the two Rangers, who regrouped.

"You give up or are you thirsty for more?" Reina taunted, twirling her axe in her hand.

The man didn't say anything as he glared at the pair. He thought that the mission of tracking down and capturing the girl for Prince Cream was supposed to be simple. But of course, the blonde haired girl had to interfere and make things complicated. And to make things worse, two brightly-colored wizards that are associated with the blonde haired girl showed up and made going after the target very difficult for him.

That was when he noticed the pink guild mark on Lucy's hand. "Fairy Tail, is it?" He remarked, before sinking into the ground within a pool of shadows.

"Wait!" Reina cried, rushing in to attack him. She leapt at him just as the masked man disappeared, causing Reina to fall to the ground. "Damnit!" She snorted as she raised her head, "He got away!"

"Yeah, but I have a feeling that we'll see him again," Ayumi stated as she and Reina de-morphed back to normal.

"There they are!" Kiba's voice called out, getting their attention as they looked up and saw the boys approaching from the sky on their Mystic Racers.

"It's Sora and the others!" Ayumi waved at them. "Hey, guys! Down here!"

The trio then jumped off their magic vehicles and landed near the girls.

"I take it everything went well?" Reina assumed.

"For the most part." Cyrus replied back. "Forunately, no one was seriously hurt in the process."

"What about you guys?" Sora asked the pair. "I thought you were at the hotel."

"We were, until we saw someone chasing after Lucy and Eclair." Ayumi informed them. "We managed to stop him, but he disappeared right before you guys showed up."

"Wait, so where are they now?" Kiba questioned, looking around for said girls.

Reina gestured behind herself. "Come on, they're over there."

With that, they then hurried over to check to see if Lucy and Éclair are ok.

"Did that jog any of your memory?" Lucy asked.

Éclair could only shake her head as she didn't remember a thing. Not yet.

"Hey!" Ayumi called out when she and the others arrived. "We brought the others!"

 "Is everyone okay?" Sora asked the group. "We heard what happened."

Lucy then stood up to infrom them. "Guys, someone is after Éclair. We got to find out why." She stated.

That was when she saw the team was all frozen as their eyes became white circles, with their faces being completely red; though the boys' faces were hidden by their visors. "What?" The blonde asked.

Though Ayumi was the first to snap out of it and quickly covered Sora's visor. "Lucy, your towel!" She squeaked out.

"Huh?" Lucy blinked her eyes before looking down and saw her towel had slipped off her body, revealing her entire birthday suit.  "AHHHHH!" She screamed in horror, quickly grabbing her towel and wrapping it around her body.

"I-I... I think I'm getting a nosebleed..." Sora said while Ayumi had her hands over his visor.

Lucy was comically crying while Kiba gave a slight chuckle. "They sure look real..." He commented.

Reina kicked Kiba into the air while she comically roared in anger. "CUT IT OUT! STOP LOOKING!" She howled before looking at Lucy. "What is wrong with you!?"

Lucy was continuously bowing her head. "I'm sorry! I'm so sorry!" she cried. 

Cyrus' glasses went limp from his eyes while he started stuttering nonsense, his head steaming in the process. "I-I saw too much." He said before turning away.

Unknown to any of them, Eclair's mind went blank as she stared in the Rangers' direction, more specifically, Sora. 

Although parts of his helmeted face was covered by Ayumi's hands, Éclair could barely make out Sora's visor. Which happened to be in the shape of a certain firebird....

Memories of a terrible massacre played again in Eclair's mind, and a elder man's voice told her to find a man called Kalard, a powerful wizard who could tell her the secrets of the stone.

"Eclair, are you okay?" Momon asked in concern, upon seeing the look on her face.

This snapped the woman out of her stupor before she smiled assuringly down at her little companion. "I-I'm fine. Let's just... get back to the hotel now."

As the group headed back, they didn't realize that they were being watched from the shadows by the very same masked man. "..."

Finally done! Sorry for the long wait, I was having a bad case of writer's block and working on other stories. Next chapter, the group find out more about Eclair and why people are after her. Look forward to it.
