(Several Months later...)
Command Chamber - Morning
"What do you guys think Katrina called us in for?" Reina asked, as she and her friends stood in the center of the Command Chamber.
The Hero Force Rangers had all improved in the past several months. The boys' muscles had improved to the point that they had toned developed bodies with a six pack, muscles, and abs. The girls' bodies didn't grow that much from the boys, but they had a little bit of toned muscles.
Sure it was tough...and painful. But in the end, the results were rewarding.
Another surprising thing was that ever since their Megazord fight with Bulldozertron, the Rangers had risen into popularity and gained more attention, both in good and bad ways. Many were angry at them for their vigilante acts, but there were also a lot of people who praised them for what they were doing. What was most shocking about this was that when society found out they were Quirkless, most who believed that Quirkless weren't capable of being heroes were shocked and dumbfounded that such a thing was possible. As for those that don't have Quirks, they saw the Rangers as proof that people don't need Quirks to be heroes.
Since that day, tons of people were walking around wearing simple black T-shirts with the Red, Black, Blue, Yellow, or Pink Ranger helmets, and their team logo on the front, while on the back were words 'Hero Force', 'Power Rangers', and 'Quirkless Heroes', in bright colors, and people holding up picket sign with the same writing.
The crowd was mostly of those who were quirkless as they were clearly showing their encouragement.
"Don't know. All she said was that she wanted us to meet here." Ayumi said, looking around for the A.I.
"Maybe it's something important?" Cyrus questioned.
"Smart as usual, Cyrus." Katrina's voice spoke out, surprising the teen. "Hello, Rangers."
"Katrina? What's going on? Has there been an attack or something?" Sora asked out, stepping forward.
"No, no. Nothing like that. As you know, these past months haven't been easy, but you all have overcome the challenges and grew better than I could ever imagine." Katrina said with a proud smile.
"Aw, shucks." Kiba smiled, rubbing his nose.
"I've noticed how much work you all have put into your training, so I thought it would be a good time to give you five something as proof for all of your hard work, courage, perseverance, and determination." She said before snapping her fingers.
Then, out of nowhere, five black brief cases with a lighting bolt symbol on them appeared in front of each teen.
"What are these?" Kiba asked with a raised brow.
"Your team uniforms." Katrina said as this got the Rangers' attention. "Heroes nowadays have their own taste in clothing, but I would rather have my Rangers save the world in style. I took into account all measurements and heights, so they should fix you both well without any difficulty."
Looking at each other with smiles, the Rangers all opened up their suitcases to see a mostly black combat outfit (black combat pants for the boys and black shorts for the girls) and black boots with their respective color in stripes on the arms, legs and a pair near the neck with being connected to the silver symbol on the chest, with Sora's being red, Reina's being purple, Cyrus' being blue, Kiba's being yellow, and Ayumi's being pink.
"This looks amazing, Katrina! Thanks!" Sora spoke with a grin.
"I'm going to look so badass! Thanks, Kat!" Kiba laughed full-heartedly.
"Thank you for the gift, Katrina. It means a lot." Cyrus bowed his head in gratitude.
"Black with a hint of purple, my types of colors. Thank you, Katrina." Reina smiled warmly.
"Thank you, Katrina, you rock!" Ayumi squealed, hugging her suitcase.
"Looks like we formed a strong Ranger team." Cyrus said with pride.
"This should keep the villains and Alsatia on their toes!" Reina stated excitedly.
"Right!" Sora nodded with a smile. He turned to his friends, who all nodded in agreement.
"You're more than welcome." Katrina said to them Katrina smiled at them. "Now that you have completed your training, it is time. Go forth, Power Rangers Hero Force. Everyone is waiting."
"Hell yeah!" Reina cheered as she raised a fist. "Let's go kick some ass!"
"YEAH!"

U.A High School Front Entrance - Morning
The Hero Force Rangers met up at the train station as planned and took a short ride, since U.A. was a good distance away from where they lived. As soon as the train stopped, the five of them made their way down the street, they noticed that there were more students walking beside them.
"Look at all these people." Sora said looking at all the students. "You think they're trying out for U.A.?"
"That's what it looks like." Reina said to him. There were a lot of students. "U.A. is the number one best Hero course school in the country, so it wouldn't be surprising to see this many people here to apply."
"Makes sense, but I feel bad for the ones who won't make it in. U.A. is said to have a 7% pass rate and some are lucky enough to end up in the Hero course." Cyrus told them with a pensive look on his face.
"Yeah, it would be pretty bad not getting into the school you wanted." Ayumi said, understanding what he meant.
"That's life for you. There's nothing you can do but to make sure you all pass." Kiba shrugged.
The Rangers started to see a giant building in the distance. It was U.A. High school. The school looked more impressive up close than it did in the pictures. They really don't capture the sheer size of the place. Seriously, it's huge. And it's impressive to look at, with head busts of old heroes & decorations made that it clear that no yen was spared in making the school.
"Well, this is it. You guys ready for this?" Sora asked his friends.
"You know it." Kiba said while rolling his neck.
"Y-Yes." Cyrus nodded with a determined smile.
"Like you need to ask." Reina said with a cocky grin.
"Let's ace this exam!" Ayumi shouted, raising a fist in the air.
"Ooof!" Something suddenly collided into Sora's back, crying out in a whimper.
"Huh?" Sora and the others all turned around and found themselves looking down at a green-haired teenager around their age sprawled on the orange-brick pathway, the expressions on his round face twisted with a pained grimace. Parallel to the pair, several students walked towards the marble stairs at the base of the building, either ignoring them or snickering at the fallen green-haired boy.
"Oh! Here, let me help you up." Ayumi offered her hand to the frail-looking teenager, who had begun to tremble on the ground. The green-haired boy trepidatiously considered Ayumi's offered hand for a brief moment, before taking it. The pinkette gently pulled him up and waited as the boy patted down his black coat for dust.
"Hey, are you okay?" Sora asked, walking up to his friend's side. "Sorry about that."
"You shouldn't be the one to apologize - I am so sorry for running into you!" The green-haired boy suddenly burst out, bowing deeply towards Sora. "I was rushing and wasn't paying attention to my surroundings. I should have been more careful. I'm so very sorry to have disturbed you!"
Sora was slightly taken aback by the boy's nervous ramble, but Ayumi provided him a reassuring smile. "It's okay. You don't have to worry about it. Are you okay though? For a moment, it looked like you were in a great deal of pain. You still kinda do."
"Oh-ah, please-ah, don't-don't worry, I'm fine," The boy timidly looked down at the ground, his body still shaking. He looked over at Sora. "Besides, I've-um, I've taken much worse. I will admit though, your back is like...it's like I ran into a wall of titanium. You must be really strong."
"Hehe, I guess you can say that." Sora laughed, rubbing his head. "I'm Sora Ukashi. And these are my friends."
"Ayumi Suzuni. It's a pleasure!" The pinkette introduced with a cute smile.
"Kiba Mason. Nice to meet you, Freckles!" The blonde greeted, folded his arms.
"F-Freckles?" The boy seemed taken back by the nickname.
Reina hits the blonde in the back of the head and says. "Sorry for him, he has an ass for a brain. Name's Reina Fukukado."
"And I'm Cyrus Hado." The bluentte stuck out a hand to the boy. "It's nice to meet you."
"Oh, I'm Izuku Midoriya." The green-haired boy said, shaking Cyrus's hand. "It's a pleasure to meet you to-" He was cut off as the bluenette's eyes lit up in realization.
"Hey, wait! I know you!" Cyrus gaped loudly, pointing at them. "You're the guy from the Sludge Villain Incident a year ago!"
The group was surprised by this sudden info. Apparently, some kid was taken hostage by a sludge villain and because of the situation, none of the Pros there could do a thing about. That was until another kid ran unto the scene and tried to rescue the other boy from danger. After that, All Might made an appearance and not only saved the two boys, but also beat the villain with a one punch that changed the weather.
"Holy crap, it is him." Sora said with surprise. "Man, that was pretty crazy!"
Izuku was shocked to hear that some people still remembered that day, so he was quick to reply but couldn't "N-no, i-i-it w-w-was n-n-nothing I just c-c-c-couldn't stand there..."
"Yeah, that was very brave of what you did," commented Ayumi brightly.
"Pretty ballsy if you ask me." Reina said, leaning on her hip.
"You have my utmost respect!" Kiba said, hitting his fist to his chest. "Bro-spect!"
"T-Thanks, I guess." Izuku uttered out from the praise, not believing that some people still remembered that day. He then decided to change up the conversation. "A-Anyways, I'm guessing you all are taking the Entrance Exam today to enter U.A too?"
"Yep, all five of us." Cyrus nodded, and gestured to the Izuku. "I assume you are too?"
"Yeah, I a-!"
"Stupid Deku."
Izuku was cut off when they all heard an unpleasant voice as everyone turned to where it was.
A teenager with ash-blonde hair and red eyes, dressed in a similar attire to Izuku himself. The teenager had a deep scowl across his face as he glared at the group.
"Hey, isn't that the guy you tried to save?" Kiba asked Izuku, remembering the boy from the news.
At the sight of the ash-blonde boy, Izuku flinched in surprise, taking a slight step back. Sora frowned. From their uniforms, it was quite clear that the two went to the same junior high. However, from the startled look on Izuku's face, it appeared that the green-haired boy was intimidated by the glowering red-eyed teenager.
"Didn't you hear what I say? Get out of my way or I'll blast you myself!" The aforementioned teenager threatened.
"Oh, ah, sorry Kacchan. I'll just-uh-here you go." Izuku said nervously, stepping to the side.
"I can't believe you're actually going through with this. You should just save yourself the disappointment and get out while you still have a chance. Someone like you has no place at this school, Deku." The boy known as "Kacchan" quickly brushed past them, not even acknowledging the Rangers.
'There it is again. Deku. I thought his name was Izuku? Must be a nickname.' Sora thought with narrowed eyes.
Ayumi looked displeased. "Hey, if you're gonna be a hero, maybe don't say things like that to people."
Kacchan stopped in his tracks, and looked back at the pink-haired girl. "Who the hell asked you?"
"Watch it, punk." Reina warned, stepping up. "I don't give a damn who you are. Talk to her that way again, and I'll make sure your relationship with the ground is intimate."
"And why should I listen to some random extra?" The ash-blonde growled with a death glare. "Get out of my damn sight before you get blown up too!"
"Why don't you put your money where your mouth is?" Reina said, preparing for a fight. "Then again, that's big talk coming from a guy who got captured by a lame ass villain." Reina smirked with a snort.
The ash-blonde face contorted into one of pure rage. "WHAT WAS THAT, YOU BITCH!?" He yelled, explosions popping in his hands.
Ayumi, Izuku and Cyrus watched nervously as the tension in the air grew thick around them. Students who were still coming into the schoolyard stopped and watched the conflict.
"Okay, time out!" Sora exclaimed, as he and Kiba jumped between the two triggered teens. "Why don't we all take a moment to calm down?
"Yeah, there's no need to throw punches on the first day!" Kiba added in.
Reina scoffed and turned away, "...Whatever."
The ash-blonde teen let out a grunt and walked away. "I don't have time for this crap! Just more bugs to add on my shit list."
Several of the students walking by them had noticed the confrontation, and began to whisper amongst themselves. The Rangers could make out a few of their murmurs, most of whom were associated with a "sludge-monster" and a boy named "Bakugo".
"What an ass." Reina commented, folding her arms under her chest.
Ayumi huffed while staring at the boy's back. "That's a funny way to show gratitude to someone who tried to save him."
Cyrus looked at the green-haired boy in confusion, "Hey Midoriya, you know that guy, right? What's his deal?"
"Oh, that's Kacchan. Well, actually his name is Katsuki Bakugo, but I've been calling him Kacchan since we were kids. He and I go to the same school," Izuku explained. "He's really powerful. A lot of people at my school think he's going to be the next number-one hero."
'Huh, not with that kind of attitude.' Sora thought to himself.
"What, he's got a bone to pick with you or something...?" Kiba trailed off, waiting for Izuku to answer.
At that, Izuku lowered his head, his green eyes tinged with a mixture of sadness and regret. "Uh, we used to be friends as kids. But nowadays...well, I don't really know the answer to that myself. Ever since his Quirk manifested, he changed. Both for the better and the worst, I suppose."
Sensing that the subject of Katsuki Bakugo was a sensitive one for Izuku, Sora decided to switch their topic of discussion. He inclined his head towards the school. "Well, anyway, we should probably head in now. We'll see you inside, Midoriya."
They all nodded to their leader before heading into the building.

U.A. High School Auditorium- Morning
The Rangers were now in an auditorium, packed with a number of middle school students. They were all sitting next to one another, waiting for the announcement starts. Unfortunately, Bakugo was right next to them, as he was giving them all a death glare, but they chose to ignore him and make small talk with all the applicants arriving in the auditorium. After a few minutes of waiting, a man walked up to the stage.
His name is Hizashi Yamada, also known as the Voice Hero: Present Mic.
He is a tall, slim man with long blond hair, which he wears spiked upwards in a huge tuft behind his head, and a small brown mustache. He has rectangular eyes with concentric greenish-yellow pupils, and he is almost always seen with a large smile on his face and has never been seen drawn with nostrils. His hero costume consists of a black jacket with a very tall collar, upturned and complete with studs, and matching black pants and knee-high boots. He sports tan shoulder pads and a red belt and elbow pads, all studded, and black fingerless gloves. His neck is always obscured by a directional speaker which he uses with his Quirk. He is wearing a pair of headphones with the word "HAGE" written on the headband and a pair of orange-tinted shades.
It looked like he was about to say something to everyone.
"What's up, U.A. candidates? Thanks for tuning into me-your school DJ, Present Mic!" He spread his hands out, grinning. "C'mon and let me hear ya!" The man turned his head to the side, hand cupped over his ear.
However, there was complete silence in response to his words.
Present Mic gave up after a moment, still smiling. "Keepin' it mellow, huh? That's fine-I'll skip straight to the main show!" He turned towards the audience. "Let's talk about how this practical exam is going to go down, okay?" A flashy yellow background appeared behind him as he shot his arm into the air, shouting. "ARE YOU REAADAAY?!"
Kiba suddenly stood up and raised his fist. "HELL YEAH!" He exclaimed, as he stood like this for a moment as everyone looks at him strangely he before sat down, embarrassed.
"That's what I'm talking about!" Present Mic grinned, pointing at the yellow Ranger's spot. "Love the enthusiasm!"
However, Izuku sat in the stands, fanboying about the hero. "Present Mic! So cool!" He gushed in excitement. "I listen to his radio show every day of the week! It's so crazy nuts that all the U.A. teachers are pro heroes!"
"Looks like Midoriya's having fun." Sora thought in this awkward silence.
"Will you shut up or do you want to die?!" Bakugo snapped at the green-haired boy.
"How about you shut up?" Sora snapped back.
"The hell you say?!" Bakugo growled.
"You heard him. Leave the guy alone." Reina said with an irritated tone.
Bakugo just angrily stayed silent, not wanting to make a scene.
Present Mic raised his arm. "Like your application said, today you rockin' boys and girls will be out there conducting 10-minute mock battles in super hip urban settings!" The screen switched to show the different areas, labelled A-G. "After I drop off the mic here, you'll head to your specified battle centers-sound good?" After being met by silence, Present Mic shouted out, only to be denied again. "Okaaaay?!"
Each of the students glanced down at their cards, reading them thoroughly.
'Looks like I'm in Battle center-C.' Sora thought to himself. He looked over to his teammates cards to see what center they were in. "All five of us ended up in the same battle center."
"I see." Bakugou glanced over to Izuku's card. "They're splitting us up so we can't work with any of our friends." He realized the point of the test.
"Yeah, you're right." Izuku commented looking at his card. "Our examinee numbers are one after the other, but we're assigned to different battle centers."
Bakugou glared at the boy. "Get your eyes off my card." He sighed, glancing down. "I was really looking forward to crushing you."
Izuku nervously laughed at his comment, while the Rangers were getting sick of Bakugo's attitude.
Present Mic began to speak again. "Okay, okay! Let's check out your charts! There are 3 types of faux villains in every battle center." He explained. "You'll earn points based on their level of difficulty-so better choose wisely!"
The screen displayed the robots that they'd be battling before displaying a quick demonstration video of what it'd be like.
"Your goal in this trial is to use your quirk to raise your score by shredding these faux villains like a midsong guitar solo!" He turned towards the audience, raising his finger. "But check it! Make sure you keep things heroic! Attacking other examinees is a U.A. no-no, ya dig?" he said, wagging his finger.
"Hmm, sounds simple enough." Sora hummed in understanding.
"Are they using... Super Mario Bros for the examples on how the physical exam will work? " Reina questions with a raised eyebrow.
"Yeah." Ayumi quietly said. "Odd choice for showing the instructions, though."
"I'll say." Cyrus said.
"It's like some kind of video game." Kiba added in.
Then suddenly, a boy stood up, with his hand raised. "Excuse me sir, but I have a question."
"Hit me!" Present Mic shouted back.
A spotlight appeared on the boy with glasses. He is a relatively tall and muscular young man with a wide frame. He has short dark blue hair, flattened neatly down and parted on the right side of his head, a small patch completely shaved near the base of his head, and rather square eyes which match the notably pointed shape of his jaw. He usually wears a serious expression, and his eyebrows seem to be permanently pointed inwards, quite thin and long in length, the far ends sharply hooked inwards, and he wears glasses with rectangular lenses.
His name was Tenya Iida.
Everyone turned their heads to see what he was about to say.
He'd pointed his finger at the battle card. "On the printout, you've listed four types of villains, not three. With all respect, if this is an error on official U.A. materials, it is shameful." Iida was going on about.
"Oh god, he's one of those types of people." Sora thought annoyingly as he was rolling his eyes away from the boy, with his eyes closed and arms crossed, as he stopped paying attention to him. Guys who stick to the rules like religion or hold themselves too high and also think that they are always right tend to get on his nerves.
"Reminds me of Sky, when he started off as the S.P.D. Blue Ranger." Cyrus thought, remembering every Power Ranger and their history.
Iida then put the paper down, beginning to preach. "We are exemplary students. We expect the best from Japan's most notable school. A mistake such as this won't happen additionally." He pointed at Izuku. "Also, you! With the unkempt hair."
Izuku was confused. "Me?" He asked, pointing at himself.
"You've been muttering this entire time. Stop that. If you can't bother to take this seriously, then leave. You're distracting the rest of us." He scolded the green-haired boy who looked down in shame.
That got Sora's attention and what he said pissed him off. Not just him, but Reina also got pretty heated from Iida's comment.
Izuku embarrassedly covered his mouth. "I'm sor-" He was about to apologize until Sora said something.
"Hey, asshat! Was that really necessary?!" Sora spoke out with anger in his voice.
"Excuse me?" Iida asked as everyone in the auditorium turned their attention to the brunette.
"Did you really need to call him out like that over something so small?!" The Red Ranger repeated.
"But he's distracting everyone!" The glasses boy counted. "Don't you find his muttering inappropriate in such a prestigious institution?"
"Not really." Sora answered, surprising him a bit. "In fact, no one here was distracted or bothered by it. The only thing that's distracting is the guy who stands up and demands answers rather than wait and ask politely." But the Red Ranger wasn't done giving him a piece of his mind. "Not only that, but you don't know jack shit about him or how hard he worked to be here. So don't you dare say he isn't taking this seriously!"
This caused Iida to flinch in fear from Sora's fury as Izuku looked at the brunette in shock. No one had ever stood up for him prior to coming here.
"Yeah, so why don't you sit your ass down before I come down there and kick it!" Reina shouted, glaring at Iida. The boy flinched again, at the girl's attitude.
"But... I was..." Iida tried to say something but Sora didn't give him the chance.
"But nothing!" Reina said irritatedly. "Just sit down, shut up, and quit wasting everyone's time!"
Iida was now stunned by this. He wanted to say something, but was too afraid to speak with the Red and Black Rangers glaring at him. So he didn't say anything else and sat back down.
"Asshole." Reina mumbled quietly.
"No kidding." Kiba agreed, being the only one to hear the greenette's comment.
"You okay, Midoriya?" Ayumi asked him softly.
"Y-Y-Yes." He shuddered.
"Ignore him and anyone else who messes with you."
"R-Right and thanks." Izuku happily said with a nervous smile.
"Alright, alright." Present Mic said as he waved his arms. "Examinee #7111! Thanks for calling in with your request!" The screen zoomed into the fourth villain as Present Mic explained, pointing at the image. "The fourth villain type is worth 0 points! That guy's just an obstacle we'll be throwing in your way. There's one in every battle center. Think of it as a hurdle you should try to avoid! It's not that it can't be beaten. There's... Kinda no point." He raised his arm into the air, palm facing towards the sky. "I suggest my listeners try to ignore it and focus on the ones on top of the charts!"
"Thank you very much." The glasses boy stood up bowing. "Please, continue."
"Oh, I get it." one student compared. "They're kinda like traps you have to get by in games."
The boy next to him replied. "The whole thing's like a video game, huh?"
"But before you listeners tackle the Practical exam, you have to take the written exam first." He said to the student. "The classroom you will be assigned to will be the same as your battle center, so if you're in battle center-A, you will head to classroom-A." He explained.
Present Mic did a static version of jazz hands. "That's all I got for you today! I'll sign you off with a sample of our school motto! As General Napoleon Bonaparte once laid down, a true hero is one who overcomes life's misfortunes. Mhhhm. Now that's a tasty soundbyte!" He grinned menacingly, the camera zooming into his face. "You ready to go beyond?" The man raised his arms in the air, 'Plus Ultra' written across the screen. "Let's hear a Plus Ultra!" After no response, Present Mic simply shouted. "Good luck! Hope you practiced more than hitting just books!" He then exited the stage.
"Huh, that's quite an inspiring motto." Cyrus complimented.
"Meh, our's is better." Reina snorted with a shrug.
All the students were ready for the intense test. The Rangers all had little smiles on their faces, as Izuku had a nervous smile for the upcoming mock battle while Bakugo excitedly clenched his fist.
Everyone in the auditorium got up from their seats and listened to the names of their respective classrooms for the written exam. Sora and the other Rangers got up as well.
"You heard the man. Let's going, Rangers." Their leader said to them.
"Right." The other said, as all of them head to classroom-C for the written exam.
