In Space - Alsatia's Ship

Inside the throne room, Scrozzle was standing before Alsatia as Igeron was glaring at the robotic scientist. 

 "You said that cretin was more than capable of destroying the Rangers, but they still live to fight another day. Have you been lying to us?" Igeron growled from his place beside Alsatia.

 "Do you seriously not know how to see the bright side in everything?" Ernesh spoke up, throwing a side glance at the centaur. 

Igeron retaliated by shooting a glare at the beast warrior. "What 'bright side' are you talking about?" 

 "That loudmouthed creature may have failed to destroy the Rangers, but did you forget how he easily overpowered those humans before they took him down?" Ernesh told him. "Plus, his fight with the Rangers showed us exactly what they are capable of." 

"Yes, I'd say that's more than enough." Alsatia responded with a small nod. "Ernesh does make an excellent point: by studying our opponents, we'll know exactly the best way to defeat them."

 Igeron could only roll his eyes and growl softly at Alsatia's words

"That's right!" Scrozzle agreed. "After watching their fight, we now know what to expect from them. And I can assure you that the next monster I summon will have no problems beating them, next time."

 "Very well. You are dismissed, Scrozzle." Alsatia commanded as Scrozzle bowed his head before leaving the throne room. 

Angered at this, Igeron whipped his head at his leader. "Your Grace! How could you let that oil-filled simpleton go!? Let me go back to Earth and finish those foolish humans!"

"No." Alsatia replied with a stern tone in her voice. "The only reason that the Power Rangers beat you was because you were feeling overconfident during your fight. We can't afford to make that same mistake. We need to be smart but careful with our plans. Do I make myself clear, Igeron?"

Igeron slightly shuddered in fear when he saw Alsatia narrow her eyes at him. To avoid suffering her wrath, he only lowered his head in shame and understanding. "Yes, my Queen."

Musutafu, Japan

 With the battle now over, the Rangers soon started to high-five one another while celebrating at their victory over Wolfbane and saving the city from being destroyed.

"Wooo! Our first battle against a past Ranger villain and we freakin nailed it!" Kiba shouted in joy at how awesome it felt. 

"You can say that again." Reina commented while holding up a fist as she and Kiba fist-bumped each other. 

 "If I'm being honest, I didn't think we'd actually pull it off." Cyrus admitted.

"Same here." Ayumi agreed with a nod. 

 "But we all worked together as a team and won. That's what matters." Sora assured the other Rangers before getting serious. "Right now, we need to check to see if the other Pros need help."

As the Hero Force Rangers were hurrying down the street looking for any Pro and/or civilian that needed help, they couldn't help but notice the destruction Wolfbane and the Batzlers left behind. Rubble and burning vehicles littered the streets while some buildings had flames that had firefighters trying their best to put them out. Ambulances even arrived on the scene to help any injured people get to the hospital.

Kiba whistled in amazement. "Damn, what a mess."

 "If it looks this bad, then I hate to see what a completely destroyed city looks like." Ayumi stated sadly as she tried hard not to think about what would've happened if she and the other Rangers didn't show up to stop Wolfbane and his Batzlers.

"It won't come to that." Sora reassured her with his hand on her shoulder. "As long as we're here, we'll make sure that never happens." 

 Ayumi smiled lightly underneath her helmet, silently thanking Sora for cheering her up.

 "Someone help!" The Rangers stopped in their tracks immediately after hearing a a voice cry out for help.

"Did you guys hear that?" Cyrus asked as he and the others looked around to find the source of the voice.

"Yeah," Sora replied. "Whoever she is, she needs help. Let's go, guys!"

Running over to the voice's location, the team came across a man stuck underneath some rubble.

"Hang on. We'll get you out of there." Cyrus told him.

"Y-Yeah. I'm fine." The man replied before his eyes widened as he saw who rescued him. "You... You're those Power Ranger guys!" 

 "In the flesh." Kiba joked with a thumbs up. 

 "What are you doing here, all by yourself?" Reina asked, as she stood between Sora and Cyrus.

"M-My wife left to get some help because the rubble was too heavy." The man explained as he struggled to move.

"Come on, let's get this off of him." Sora said holding on to the broken debris. "Rei, Kib, help me move this thing. Cy and Ayu, be ready to pull him out."

"Right!"

Reina and Kiba both held on to the broken part as well. Then with their combined strength, they lfted it off of the man in no time while Ayumi and Cyrus carefully pulled him out of there by the arms. Once the man was freed, the trio dropped the rubble back into place.

"That should do it," Reina said then looked at the man. "Can you move?"

He tried to get up but couldn't. "No." He said in disappointment.

"That broken part must've hurt his ankle."  Cyrus assumed before he placed the man's arm over his shoulder to help him stand.

 "Man, good thing we were in the neighborhood when we heard you call for help." Kiba said, wiping the dust off his gloved hands.

 "Do you know when your wife's coming back?" Ayumi asked the citizen.

As if to answer her question, the sound of sirens caught the group's attention as everyone turned to the left and saw a fire truck and ambulance approaching them. Upon coming to a halt, the Rangers saw a middle-aged woman hop out of the fire trucks passenger side and gasp as she saw her husband still alive and not under some rubble.

The woman hurried over to her husband with tears falling from her eyes as she embraced him with a hug, which he returned with his own gentle hug. "I was so worried about you. Are you okay?"

The Rangers smiled at the scene before Cyrus mentioned, "Other than a sprained ankle, he's going to be just fine."

"Thank you." The woman told the Rangers, her tone completely sincere. With that, she began helping the medics get her husband into the amublance before they soon drove away.

"Hey, should we regroup with the teachers? They might need help." Ayumi reminded the others.

 "Good point, Ayu. Let's get going, guys." Sora agreed with the Pink Ranger.

"That won't be necessary, Power Rangers." A familiar voice calls out to the team.

The group suddenly turned to see All Might landing next to them, much to their surprise.

"All Might!" The five Rangers said out in surprise to see the No. 1 Hero.

"Well done, everyone! That was an exceptional display of teamwork and determination." All Might congratulated the young Ranger team with a warm smile. "You all saved a lot of people's lives today."

"Ah, shucks!" Kiba grinned behind his helmet. 

"Oh! I-It was nothing really!" Cyrus said while rubbing the back of his head with an embarrassing blush on his face.

"Yeah, we were just doing our jobs," Reina said non-causally while shrugging her shoulder.

Sora's smile didn't last for long as he turned onward towards the city and looked at the aftermath of the battle with Wolfbane and the Batzlers. 

"We may have won the battle today, the war is far from over," Sora said out loud in a grim, as the others heard him and couldn't help but agreed with his statement.

"Indeed, this fight is far from over." All Might said with a frown as he knew this was only the beginning. 

"This isn't about heroes or villains anymore..." Ayumi  said while clenching her fist with a determined expression on her face.

"Right. With the past enemies here in our world, things are bound to get even more crazy," Reina stated with a scowl on her face.

"And knowing Scrozzle, he'll have even more enemies or us to face," Cyrus said grimly at the thought.

"Not to mention the possibility of the horse guy from before might be back too," Kiba commented to them.

"That's why we have to be ready when they attack again," Sora said to them with a serious. "We're not going to let them destroy our world just because they feel like it."

"Well say, young Ukashi. As heroes, it is our sworn duty to deliver justice to any and all evil." All Might said with a proud smile on his face at the boy's heroic passion. "But that can wait, as I think it's time we call it a day. You kids should head back home for now." He suggested surprising them.

"What?" Ayumi said with confusion.

"What do you mean?" Kiba questioned him.

"It's getting late and your parents are probably worried sick about you after everything that just transpired here today." All Might said to them, much to their surprise. "Plus, the fighting is over. Not much you can do now."

"Yeah, but what about the city? Should we at least stay to help out a bit more?" Reina asked as there were still probably more people who needed help.

"You five done more than enough for the day. Besides it's best to leave this one to us adults." All Might said to them with a smile, as the five teens glanced at one another. "I look forward to see you all at U.A. Now watch how a Pro exits, like he's got SOMEWHERE TO BE!" He took off as fast as he could, leaving behind a massive smoke trail and a small hole where he stood before.

"See that, you guys? THAT is a hero." Kiba commented.

"Yeah. You're not wrong." Ayumi agreed.

"I guess there isn't anymore for us to do then," Cyrus said with a weak tone before he rubbed the back of his helmet.

"Yeah. Let's get out of here," Sora said to them while rubbing the back of his head.

Just as they began to touch their morphers to teleport back to the Command Chamber, a voice called out. "SORA!"

"Huh?" The brunette looked over to Serena running up to him. "Mom...!?"

The others were taken back by this as well. "Ms. Serena? what's she doing here?" Cyrus asked once he saw the woman.

Reina blinked in realization. "Wait. How does she know you're a Ranger?" She questioned.

Serena caught onto the voices as she reached them. "You can thank Tsukauchi for that- who also knew about Sora being a Power Ranger and didn't tell me." Serena replied, still a little miffed that one of her good friends kept that secret from her.

"Tsk, of course it was the detective..." Reina clicked her teeth in annoyance.

"Thanks a lot, Tsukauchi!" Kiba yelled afterwards. "It's always the Man!"

After hearing the Yellow and Black Ranger's voices, she remembered that those voices belonged to two of Sora's friends. "Wait, those voices....Reina? Kiba?"

The Rangers could only stand in stunned silence as they were surprised at how Serena managed to deduce Reina and Kiba's identities.After what seemed like minutes, Kiba nervously broke the awkward silence. "Uhh... Hey there, Ms. S."

They all then touched pressed their morphers, and teleported away in streams of their respectful colors.

"KIBA!"

"What? She's onto us! I couldn't handle the pressure!"

Reina facepalmed her helmet. "Dumbass..."

"No point in hiding it now." Ayumi shrugged, already accepting what comes next."Hi there, Ms. S. Assuming you already recognize my voice, it's me, Ayumi Suzuni." Ayumi said calmly before gesturing to Cyrus. "And the Blue Ranger here is Cyrus Hado."

"Hi, Ms. Ukashi." The Blue Ranger waved sheepishly.

Serena became even more surprised not only by hearing Ayumi and Cyrus' voices, but also by hearing Ayumi confess about her and Cyrus being Power Rangers.Serena then turned to face Sora as her face now transformed from surprise to serious. "Not telling me that you're a Power Ranger is one thing, but you also didn't tell me that your friends are Power Rangers too?!"

Before Sora could speak, Cyrus stepped forward. "Before that..." he spoke, gaining everyone's attention. "Maybe we should talk more back at the chamber. It might not be a good idea to continue in public."

"The what?" Serena looked at the Rangers in confusion until Sora stepped in and offered his mother his shoulder. 

 "I think it's better if we just show you. Here, grab onto my shoulder."

"Huh? What for?"

"Well, if you want some answers from someone who can best explain it all to you, you'll just have to trust us." Ayumi explained to Serena.

"What do yo-" She was then cut off as the Rangers pressed their Morphers and teleported away in their respective colors.

On nearby rooftop, a man with many blades all over his body was watching the scene down below and had a very ecstatic look on his face as the Power Rangers vanished from sight.

He is an intimidating, muscular man who walks with a distinct hunch and has a flat, somewhat triangular face without a nose, which he removed himself, and an extraordinarily long tongue, tainted with numerous small papillae. He has rather long, black hair, which he wears in a messy fashion; it would drape over his face if not for his headband and mask, and small red eyes with tiny irises. He sports a dark combat suit, plated with metal armor across his body to holster his weapons. The torso is sleeveless, so he instead wraps his arms in yellow bandages, all the way from just below his shoulders to his wrists. He also wears long black wristbands and a watch on his left arm, and his knees are protected with metal pads, the costume is completed by black boots with steel armor. He always dons his signature blood-red scarf and matching headband, as well as the tattered cloth he wears around his face as a mask.

Chizome Akaguro, also known as Hero Killer: Stain.

Even though the Hero Killer was ecstatic to see All Might, his attention- as of right now- was mainly focused on the Power Rangers.

'So, those are the Power Rangers that I've heard about.' Stain thought to himself as he narrowed his eyes at the same spot the Rangers teleported from. "With those costumes and those support items that they have, are they like the unworthy trash that pollute this society, or are they true heroes like him. All I know is, they sure are an interesting bunch and I can't wait to see them again."

Command Chamber

The Rangers were teleported back to the Command Chamber, this time, they managed to land on their feet.

"Power Down!" The team said as their Ranger suits suddenly vanished, reverting them back into their regular clothes.

"Hey. We didn't land on our butts this time." Kiba cheerfully pointed out. 

 Sora nodded at that before turning towards his mother. "What about you, Mom? Are you ok-?" He paused as his eyes widened in surprise when he saw his mother hunching over with her hands on her knees while breathing heavily. 

 "MOM! Are you okay?!" Sora yelled in concern as he tried to keep his mother from falling over. 

 "What... just happened? And why do I..." Serena nauseatingly replied as she tried not to throw up. "And why do I feel like I've been on rollercoaster?" 

 "Don't worry about that, Ms. S. You're just... experiencing some slight nausea." Cyrus nervously replied as he saw the state that she was in. "I'm sure you'll get used to it in time." 

"Ugh..." Serena groaned out, shaking her head in an attempt to clear away the dizziness she was experiencing. Once she had cleared the dizziness away, she looked up and saw Sora kneeling in front of her. "Sora?" She muttered when realization hit her, causing her to quickly stand up. "Sora! What happened!? What was the bright light!? Wh-"

She was cut off as she then noticed Reina, Cyrus, Kiba, and Ayumi all awkwardly standing nearby, as well as the odd and futuristic room they were now in. "Where... are we?"

"Well... our HQ?"

The woman looked at her son, perplexed. "I'm sorry, what? HQ?"

"Yeah, this place is called the Command Chamber. This is where Katrina, our mentor, resides."

"Command Chamber? Mentor?" Serena repeated in confusion, rubbing her head. "I have so many questions right now."

Before anyone could say anything, Katrina appeared before the Rangers and their guest.

"Well now, This is quite surprising."  as she floated near the team. "May I ask why Officer Ukashi is here?"

"Ahhh!" Serena screamed, jumping backwardw and pulling out her gun as the Rangers jumped backward as well.

"Whoa!" They all said in unison, shocked at the sudden action.

Sora stepped in front of his mom to hold her back. "No, Mom Stop! Easy!"

"What is that thing!?" She demaded.

"I'm not a thing. I'm a she." Katrina corrected, floating in front of the woman. "And you must be Serena Ukashi, Sora's mother."

The woman tense up in turn, not expecting...whatever 'she' was to know her name. "How do you know my name?" Serena asked.

"To answer your question, when I asked Sora who his mother was, he told me who you were and what kind of person you were. Also, looked you up on the internet." Katrina answered truthfully before turning to the Rangers. "Now, would any of you be so kind to explain to me why Officer Ukashi is here?"

Sora let out sigh as he raised a hand. "It was me. I was the one who suggested the idea."

The other Rangers looked at Sora in surprise, especially Cyrus- since it was his idea to bring Serena to the Rangers' HQ. "Sora, what are you..." The bluenette began, only to be stopped by his friend.

"I know it wasn't wise of me to do so, but since my Ranger secret was discovered...I figured it was better to bring her here instead of someone else finding out."

Katrina was quiet for a moment before speakng. "I see. Well, while I concur that it was unwise of you to bring your mother here, but practical in a way since she knows your Ranger identity and would have properly taken you away from us. But nevertheless, from what you've told me and the file on her from the police database, she has proven herself to be a great ally. But next time, talk to me about it all right?"

 "Noted." Sora nodded while the A.I mentor turned around to face Serena.

 "Now with that settled, I welcome you, Serena Ukashi to the Command Chamber. It is here that the Rangers operate and train for the next attack, it is a home away from home for them."

The female officer was stunned by that fact as she slowly placed her gun back in its hoister. "Okay. Sora, what's going on?" She looked over at her son. "Who is she and where are we?"

"This is Katrina or to be more accurate, a A.I. program." Sora said to her. "She's the reason we were able to morph into Power Rangers."

"Power Rangers?" Serena curiously asked, as she remembered the teens calling themselves that name before. "That's what everyone has been calling you all. What in the world is a Power Ranger?"

"I'll be happy to tell you. Now, as I said to Sora and his friends, everything I'm about to say and show to you is the truth, and please hold off on any questions you may have until I'm finished." Katrina said to the woman.

Just like what she did to did with the new Rangers, Katrina showed Serena the history of the Power Rangers. And like the group, Serena was shocked by what she was seeing. To think there are heroes like this and the things they fought.

She was surprised to learn that the Power Rangers were heroes from different universes and timelines that fought against all types of evil. But she was even more surprised that all the Power Rangers were quirkless before becoming Rangers. After seeing what they teens did made them question every single thing they knew about quirkless people being heroes.

After finishing the story of the Power Rangers, Serena stood there, beyond blown away by what she just saw.

"And now our story brings us here to the present." Katrina said, referring to the Hero Force Rangers. "As you just saw, most of the Earths in the multiverse has a Ranger team based there. This one, unfortunately, doesn't. And with that, your planet is in grave danger." She explained, gaining Serena's attention.

"What do you mean?" Serena asked.

"The world is under attack by none other than Alsatia, an intergalatic sorceress who is bent on controlling the universe. Those creatures you saw today and months prior were her soldiers, and with them, she plans to conquer Earth." Katrina told her befor she then gestured to the new Rangers. "I was requested by the Morphin Masters to find a group of brave souls with strong wills and attitude that will carry on the legacy of the Power Rangers. Your son, Sora, was selected along with Reina, Cyrus, Kiba, and Ayumi to become the next generation of Power Rangers."

"Okay, wait. So, you think Sora and his friends should be running around in costumes and beating up these aliens?" Serena questioned incredulously.

"To put it simply, yes." Katrina answered with a nod.

"This is ridiculous," Serena said heatedly, "You can't possibly suggest that these kids should put their lives on the line!"

"They already have," Katrina retorted, "Every Ranger have."

"That's different!" Serena retorted as she glared at Katrina, "They are only 15 years old!"

"Yes, they are." Katrina agreed as she turned her attention towards the group, "And what a great burden they've been given at such a young age."

"Exactly! So..."

"But let me ask you this," Katrina continued as she turned back to the woman, "What would have happened if your son and his friends hadn't done what they did today? How many people would have been hurt? How many would have been killed?"

Serena offered no reply, and Katrina sighed sadly as she looked the woman sympathetically.

"I'm sorry to be the one putting you in this position," She said, "But I've learned from hard won experience that power comes in all sorts of shapes and sizes, but that no matter what form it takes, one thing always hold true."

"What's that?" Cyrus spoke up for the first time since Kartina had explained Ranger History again, drawing her attention to him.

"That power always comes with the weight of responsibility," Katrina intoned seriously, "And with great power comes great responsibility."

"You sound like you're talking from experience," Reina observed.

"I suppose I am," Katrina nodded in agreement. "Which is why I want to mentor you all. Not to demand that you put yor live on the line for others, but to share what I know. And what I know is that, more often than not, people like you became heroes after some great tragedy pushed them to do it. Something that forced them to learn to use their powers responsibly. I wanted to see if I could prevent that for you. To give what little wisdom I have without the pain of earning it."

"I don't know who you think you are, coming in here and demanding that my son and the others put their lives on the line!" Serena snapped as she rounded on Katrina.

"I'm not demanding anything," Katrina replied as she held her hands up towards Serena, "I've just seen the way this story goes before. Ultimately, the choice is neither of ours."

"Oh?" Serena replied combatively, "And whose is it then?"

"It's ours," Sora answered, causing Serena to turn and look at him in shock. "And we already decided that we're going to do this."

"Sora, you can't be serious!" Serena exclaimed.

"How can I not be, Mom?" Sora argued, "People are alive because I was there! All of us!"

"You're a child!" Serena stated heatedly.

"A child who can do things to make this world better!" Sora retorted as he held up his left arm, showing his Morpher. "It's like Katrina said, I have a responsibility to use my powers to help people!"

"I don't care what nonsense this stranger has put in your head!" Serena snapped, "I forbid you from -"

"From what? Helping others like me!" Sora shouted as slience fell over the room. "You don't even know how much I went through for all these years! I've been treated like garbage in school just because I'm nothing like them! Because I wasn't born with some fancy ability! Even the teachers don't give a crap about me! What was I supposed to do!? I'm so sick of being treated like that all the time! And when I'm standing up for myself, what do I get from you now? A friggin' lecture! I thought you'd be proud of me!"

"Sora, I just -"

"No, Mom. I have to do this." Sora spoke with conviction. "I finally have a purpose in life, and I'm going do whatever I can to help. "Which is why I'm going to U.A. to become the first ever Quirkless person and Power Ranger to go there."

Kiba raises his fist and yells "Ayyyy-yep!"

The yellow Ranger stands like this for a moment as everyone looks at him strangely before putting his hand down with an embarrassed look on his face "Sorry...I thought we were having a moment."

Sora turns back to his mom. "Mom. look. l know that I lied to you and I am so sorry. But all my life I wanted to be just like you, someone who protects others and makes them feel safe. This is my chance to do that."

"Serena? If I may?" Said Katrina before continuing. "You raised a compassionate person who only wants to help, but he won't do it alone. He'll have them." She gestured towards the others.

Serena looks at the A.I then the rest of the Rangers before sighing. "Honey, l don't want to lose you."

"Mom... you won't, I'll make you proud."

The others in the room watched as mother and son were now on good terms about the issue.

Eventually, the two family break away from their hug, having decided that the crying was enough and that more pressing matters needed to be addressed. "Okay..." Serena spoke, clearing her throat. "Now that we got that out of the way, what's going to happen now? Because I'm pretty sure that the media is going to be talking about what you all did today."

"You don't have to worry about that," Katrina reassured Serena. "If it's anything like when the Rangers first made their debut, they should be fine considering that no reporters caught a glimpse of the Rangers' identities. And with the Ranger Danger app fully operational thanks to Cyrus, we'll be sure that an attack like this doesn't happen again on a much larger scale."

Serena turned her head in astonishment to Cyrus, who was rubbing the back of his head with his hand in embarrassment.

"Yeah, the dude's a lot smarter than he looks." Reina commented with a proud smirk on her face.

"I'm not that impressive." Cyrus shyly commented as an embarrassed blush slightly grew on his cheeks.

"'Not that impressive'?" Kiba repeated with a raised eyebrow. "Dude, you made a phone app. Pretty soon, you'll be making your own video game or even a new Zord!"

"Okay, now you're just being ridiculous." Cyrus deadpanned at Kiba.

While the Rangers were busy laughing and adding their own thoughts into the conversation, Serena and Katrina watched from the sidelines.

"You know, you're really lucky that your son found some really interesting and entertaining friends." Katrina softly told Serena.

"Yeah. I really am." Serena replied with a proud smile on her face as she saw Sora having fun with his friends.

ANNND DONE! Sorry about the long wait, guys. This one was a pain to write and I had to get some serious help with it. Now, we finally head into the first day of U.A and meet the class. So look forward to that!
