FIFTYEIGHT

"You're being stupid." Jimin sighs, flipping through the channels in hopes of finding something worth watching.

"Why?" Yoongi asks but he knows the answer. Everyone has been telling him what he needs to do. They all think he should go and try to win Hoseok over. They keep telling him he's making the biggest mistake but he doesn't care. They don't know what he and Hoseok had and they aren't the ones that have to put their hearts through hell.

It's easy to tell him he needs to date the man, try and convince the CEO to take a chance on him, but the way he'd hurt himself along the way. Hoseok won't ever choose him, he's a male and Hoseok wants to marry a woman.

It's a shame really. If things were different he might've taken a chance in the man. Gone to hell and back just to make him see, but the circumstances in the current situation are not worth it. Does he really want to spend the rest of his life inside? Hiding because they might get seen together.

"You clearly love the man."

"So y'all keep telling me." He mumbles in reply, the days of his friends trying to convince him finally catch up to him in the form of irritation.

He understands their struggle, Hoseok and him are both part of the friend group, not being able to face another does cause a split. And as much as they don't want to, eventually they'll pick sides and the group will be split up.

But him trying to force something that Hoseok is trying really hard to fight won't solve anything. It's just going to be a messy happening before both get even more hurt.

"Listen, you made clear you don't want to fight for him." Jimin says which hits him wrong. It isn't true that he doesn't want to fight, he does. He'd move heaven and earth for the man if he had to. But Hoseok doesn't want him to, the man wants to be left alone and forget about what they had.

"And don't give me that bullshit that you would fight for him, it's easy to fight when you're not going to. It's moments like this you fight, maybe not for you but at least for him. The man is clearly stuck in his own mind. Scared to come out because he think the world is going to hate him. How do you expect him to choose you when you're not willing to fight for him." Jimin rants. "If he were to pick you, he needs to know that even if he looses everything he won't loose you. Because then maybe he feels brave enough to take on the challenge."

Yoongi sits frozen, unsure of what to say. Jimin is right, it's easy fir him to give up because Hoseok won't fight. But then again, the man would be risking all he has meanwhile Yoongi isn't risking anything at all. He's been saying that Hoseok doesn't want him, but what if the man does but is too scared to take this leap of fate alone.

Maybe he could offer to take his hand and do it together. Chances are they'll crash and burn but at least then they can say they fought for one another.

Whenever he's around the elder he feels on top of the world, as if nothing can hurt him. If Hoseok feels the same then he needs to talk to the man and tell him that no matter what happens, he will always stay by his side, as log as he wants him to.

Then maybe, just maybe the CEO feels brave enough to take a chance on him.

See you in three months when I update again
