I realized that we had to stop The Keeper. I immediately went to the library to figure out how the war started. But, of course, the Keeper knew what we were doing, apparently.
I ran into the library, searching the website for books about the war, but I knew the Keeper would kill anyone that would try to tell the truth about her. She wouldn't let anyone let any information slip out about her. I soon found a book about her in the war. I quickly read it, trying to find information on her, but all it said was "the Keeper continues to search for an apprentice worthy of the spot of Seeker of knowledge." "Darn it." I dropped the book, but it landed on a light. As I picked it up, new words began to appear. Sneaky, I thought, looking at the new words. This time, it said "the Keeper takes the souls of her apprentices to keep her life from stopping. Although she is important in the war, she did not cause it." After reading that I dropped the book and ran to where my friends were. "Guys! I found out a plan to stop her!" I yelled, excited. "All we have to do is make sure she doesn't get another apprentice, since she gets power from their soul." All the others grinned at me and my brilliant plan, except Christina. "How do we stop her than?" "Easy, all we need is someone to cast a certain spell or just find potion that would help." "And what would that be?" I smiled, and said "Clumsy potion or spell." "How do we make a clumsy potion, exactly." "With a spell book." I said, then running to my house. I remembered burying a spell book a while book. So I uncovered it, opened it to the potions section. Let's see, ah here it is! I thought, stopping at the clumsy page. It said:
Potion ID:246: Clumsy Potion
Definition: Turns the one using it into a complete clutz. Dangerous
Warning: If used, people should stay away to not get harmed.
Ingredients: Hair of user, Chicken Feather, Broken Object (Made Of Clay or Glass), Blood From Another Clumsy Person, Rose Thorns, Essence From A Failed Spell.
How To Combine: Start A fire, Put a cauldron above fire, add water. Place magic from failed spell in first, then the order of rest doesn't matter. Stir until purple.
Lasts: lasts until casted off with a spell of counter effect
I brought the spellbook to my friends, and once again, they smiled. "Perfect, but know we need to find the ingredients. Let's go!" I said. Hopefully they understand why this potion will help. If the parents see how dangerous the Keeper is, they will keep their children away, or hopefully.
