Y/N: I-It's you again...

Akeno: This is Rias Gremory. She's the president of our Occult Research Club, or The ORC for short.

Y/N: Rias, huh...?

Rias: That is my name, Yes. It's a pleasure. You must have been tired, you slept through the whole night.

Y/N: W-Wait, I slept here...?! For the whole night...?!

Akeno: Yeeeeah...sorry about that. We didn't know where your house was so we just brought you with us. I hope you don't mind.

This was all a bit much to take in. You weren't really expecting to truly meet anybody during your time at school apart from teachers and such. You were far too distant for that kind of thing. But it seems that the social action had been brought to you instead.

Rias: With introductions out of the way, I would like to ask you, starting with how you managed to send whoever attacked you back to wherever they came from.

Y/N: I-I...I'm not too sure myself...she was about to stab me with a spear but then I just...moved, I didn't think about it, I just did it. Almost like my body was moving on it's own...

Rias: I see...and did anything happen prior to this?

Y/N: Well...I saw and heard a few things...I don't even think some of it was actual English, but I'm pretty sure I heard the phrase "Ultra Instinct" once or twice...after that, I started glowing and that woman couldn't touch me.

Akeno: Interesting. I've never heard of that kind of power. Could it be a new variant of a Sacred Gear?

Rias: Maybe...but this is the first time even I have heard of this "Ultra Instinct"...regardless it's clear that you're not normal.

Y/N: ...I mean if you're just gonna say it—

All of a sudden you were interrupted by strange images popping up in your mind, causing a painful but not serious headache.

You groaned in pain and held your head and clenched your eyes shut as the girls gasped from the sudden occurrence. Your body began to lightly tremble as the images kept going. While the things you saw were fairly different in some ways, they all had the same person in all of them.

This figure had purely light blue skin, and eyes of the exact same colour. His white hair was unlike anything you had ever seen, as well as a large ring hovering around his neck. Almost like the Halo of an Angel.

Rias: Y/N? Are you okay?!

Y/N; Ugh...!! Ow!! That's starting to hurt...!!

Akeno noticed a few drops of sweat slowly making their way down the side of your face. Seeing this, she placed a hand on your shoulder as an attempt to comfort you.

While it wasn't the exact reaction she was hoping for, her actions did something. Your shaking stopped as well as your grunting.

Then your eyes shot wide open, however they were different. They were glowing silver again, just like when you fought Raynare.

Akeno: Y/N...your eyes...!

Rias: So there is something special about you. I sensed it at the school, but I couldn't tell for sure.

However, the silver glow of your eyes vanished as quickly as it came as your eyes went back to normal after a few seconds.

Y/N: Who was that...? That hair...that halo...I'm certain I've never seen that kind of thing before in my entire life...but he felt so...familiar...

*KNOCK* *KNOCK* *KNOCK*

You then heard the sound of knocking by the front entrance of the room. Your attention was directed towards the door as someone pushed it open, the voice of a boy could be heard talking on the other side.

???: We're here, president.

Three more students then entered the room. One of them you were quite familiar with. It was the brown haired boy that got jumped by the Kendo girls yesterday.

Accompanying him was Yuuto Kiba. You hadn't actually met the guy, but the girls in the school would never shut up about him. They were crazy for him. He was practically the Prince of the academy.

And then there was the younger girl with white hair that you had seen last night with Rias and Akeno. The three of them all looked at you with different faces.

Y/N: So there are others...?

Akeno: Of course! There wouldn't be much of a club if it was just the two of us, silly.

Rias: Good timing. Introductions are in order.

Brown Haired Boy: Oh hey, it's the new guy!

Y/N: Aren't you the guy who got beaten up by the Kendo club...?

Brown Haired Boy: Y-You saw that...?

Y/N: Yeah, I was right by the tree when that happened.

Kiba: It's nice to finally meet you, Y/N! The ladies around the school have been gossiping about you, y'know.

Y/N: You're Kiba, right? I've heard about you. Wait the girls have been doing what...?

White Haired Girl: I'm Koneko.

Y/N: Cool.

Brown Haired Boy: I'm Issei Hyoudou. I hope we can be buds!

Y/N: Me too.

Rias: Now that everyone is here, we can get down to business. But first, we need to address something to our new friend here.

Y/N: And what would that be...?

Rias: If you haven't figured it out yet, we're not exactly what you would call "normal" either.

Out of Rias' back spread a pair of black wings, which shocked you greatly. Akeno showed that she also had a pair of wings, as did Koneko and Kiba. Issei however didn't follow suit.

Issei: I-I uh...I don't know how to do that on command yet...

Rias: As you can see, we are what you would call Devils, Y/N.

Y/N: Devils...?! But you helped me...

Akeno: Most Devils aren't actually evil, you know. In fact we're quite fond of Humans.

Y/N: You're kidding...

Rias: And that's not all. The Woman who attacked you last night was a Fallen Angel. Some thing we're the same, but we're not. They wish to serve God, but it's too late for them. Of course there are normal Angels too.

Y/N: I-I'm sorry this is just...a lot to take in...Angels and Devils are real...?!

Akeno: Don't forget the Fallen Angels~

Rias: Anywho, Issei, you know the drill at this point. I expect you to receive your pact by the end of the night.

Issei: Yes, Ma'am!

Rias: As for the rest of you...we're going to try to help Y/N here unlock his power.

Issei: Wait a sec! How come he doesn't have to do these?!

Rias: As a new member of our household, you need practice seeing how things work around here. Y/N on the other hand actually isn't a member of my Peerage. We don't know the full extent of his capabilities. So for today, Koneko, Kiba, Akeno, I would like the three of you to do some simple sparring exercises with him today. That is if you don't mind of course, Y/N.

Y/N: I don't mind if it means I can defend myself from those "Fallen Angels"...

Rias: Then it's settled. Get ready and we can begin!
