~17th March 2020(Monday)~

Third person's POV
All he adults are back at work . Harry , Ron  and Teddy are in the auror's department . James , Fred and Molly in the auror-training section , Victoire at St.Mungo's , Bill and Fleur at gringotts , George and Angelina at the shop and Percy , Hermione and Audrey are on their way to the department of magical law enforcement. Ginny is right now walking to her new office .

She is quite excited with her new position at the Daily Prophet . Ginny loved being in the Holyhead Harpies team . But this job was even more dear to her .

Ginny's POV

I enter my office and look around the spacious room . No one's here yet ... I guess I came too early , I think. Suddenly mum's owl , Helen , comes through the office's window . A letter! Now? What could it be .. I walk towards Helen  and talk the letter from it's beak . I give her a treat . I open and the letter and read :

Dear Ginny,
Arthur has finally decided to retire! I talked to him about it yesterday and he said that it was time he downed tools . I am so glad that he can finally rest . I was so happy that I had to tell this to someone before I exploded . Sorry if I had disturbed you or anything . Your brothers know , I already sent them similar letters .
Love , Mum 🖤.

I smiled as I read the letter . Dad was refusing to retire a week ago . Looks like mum finally convinced him to do so ..... uhh .... more like scolded him honestly , I thought to myself and giggled .

I replied to her letter and sent it to her with Helen . As I watch Helen fly off , I hear footsteps . Here they come!. I open my office door and greet them.

"Hello everyone! I am Ginny Potter as you all know , the new editor" I smile at them .
They smile back at me .

"The minister has instructed me to make sure that news of a certain virus , that started among muggles , is known to the wizarding community ." I start professionally "So this is the information that I collected about this virus , called , COVID-19 or novel corona virus" I hand the script to the head columnist " The Daily Prophet will get more information from the minister when he talks to the reporters later today."

I look towards the group of reporters to pick one. Boy, am I glad the old editor fired that bug , Rita Skeeter. Though it would have been fun for me to maybe stamp her under my heel , I think matter-of-factly.

"Um, Jessica , Maria and Max will go and report the instructions the minister gives. Hammond you will need to go with them He said he would owl me of the time." I say looking at the group of four.
"Yes , Mrs. Potter" they reply , nodding and smiling . I beam at them as they all go to their seats and start working . I watch them for a while and then go back to my office .

I don't have any papers to view right now .... hmm.... what to do..... James said Mavis is gonna come tonight . I could start thinking about dinner I guess ...

Harry's POV

"Ron ! Ginny's been promoted to editor!" I tell him happily as he drinks his coffee.
Ron chokes on his drink .

"Wh- What ? But she is still a reporter . How?" He asks still spluttering.

"A fatal virus has started among the muggles ,we saw on our television . So we informed Kingsley and poof! Ginny was made editor to take care of this matter and make sure everyone knew." I explain to him.

"Oh . I see . Bloody hell , I haven't got a promotion yet and she is suddenly editor?!" Ron says in surprise.

"Ron , if you wanted a promotion , you could have just asked you best friend a.k.a. Me , for it!" I tell him , teasingly.

"Really? Would you promote me if I asked ?" He says looking like a 4 year-old in a candy store.

"Ye- NO" I finish , popping his bubble.

Ron frowns a little and we both start laughing.

"Anyway , Harry . Dad has finally chosen to retire." Ron emphasised the word finally.

"That's good. Arthur deserves some rest." I add "Anyway , I gotta go check on the other aurors . You go through the papers I gave you , 'kay?"
"Sure"
I leave and go check on Seamus , Dean and the others . Kingsley gave the whole DA the option to join auror-training and most people took the opportunity.

Ginny's POV
I open Kingsley's letter and read :
Mrs. Potter,
Send your reporters and photographer to my office at noon . I will give inform them the instructions then.
Kingsley Shacklebolt.

It is 11:00 a.m. right now. I inform Maria , Jessica , Max and Hammond of the timing and where they have to go . They nod in understanding and go back to work. So far , so good , I think to myself.

James' POV
That was tough! I think to myself while panting. I see Molly coming towards me .

"What's wrong James? You seems .... distracted" she question sitting beside me.
Molly and I though alike are quite close . I consider her my sister . She always comes to me or Teddy when she had a breakup or is sad. She already knows about Mavis .

"Mum and Dad are meeting Mavis tonight" I simply tell her.

"Oh! So you told them about her. Didn't think you had it in you.." she says raising an eyebrow.

"Of course , I had it in-" I get cut off
"I made him , Molly" a voice says .

Both of us turn around to see Teddy standing behind us with a smirk on his face. That smirk... again... ugh.. he loves to mess with me.

"Care to explain more , Teddy?" She asks him. Oh no.

"With pleasure, Mols" he replies. He tells her everything as I put my head in my hands and Molly laughs.

What a great way to enjoy my break! By Getting embarrassed !! Thanks a lot Ted Lupin! Wait till I tell Vic embarrassing things about yo- oh wait..... she already knows all.. after all they have been dating since seven years. I roll my eyes .

"Teddy?" I start "Why did you tell mum and dad about Mavis ? I asked you not to"

"Oh! That's payback for when you told them about me and Vic years ago, little bro!" He says and laughs slightly.

I chuckle "Fair enough" I say. "Anyway , I am nervous about mum and dad meeting Mavis"
"Don't be , James . It is gonna be fine. Mavis is a great girl." Molly assures me.
"Thanks , Mol" I smile at her.

"Anytime! And Teddy I think it's time for you to go" she states.
"No it's not-" he begins.
Molly takes out her wand and points it at him with a look on her face that says 'I said GO'
"Oh hey! Look at the time! Vic wanted me to meet her soon! See you later Molly , James!" He exclaims and speed-walks out of the place .

Molly and I laugh and fist-bump each other .
