Back at Potter Manor.

Mavis' POV
I open my eyes to see the sunlight coming through the window. I lift my head and look around to realise where I am and why.

Then I saw that i was cuddled up with James and memories of last night start flooding back. I quickly grab my phone and text Mum.

Hey mum. I'll be back in a while don't worry.

Almost immediately I get a reply.

Okay, honey. Just tell me before you decide to stay at someone's place , next time.

'Kay , mum.

I look at the time and it is 8:07 a.m. I look at James. He is such a heavy sleeper, that he won't even wake up if there was an earthquake.

I smirk slightly as I get an idea. I get away from his grip around my waist, sit on the bed , then .........

(What do you think she is gonna do?)

I roll him towards the edge of the bed. "James!" I shout loudly to wake him up.
"Wha-?!"
I push him off the bed before he could finish speaking. He lands on the floor with a big thud.
I start laughing and crawl to the edge to see him sprawled on the floor, a side of his face visible to me.

He turns towards me so that, his back is to the floor. I see a small smile on his face. What is he gonna do-?. Before I could finish my thought , my arm was grabbed by him and I was pulled to the floor , landing on top of him.

"Why, hello there" James says in a flirty voice. I huff and blow the hair out of my face.
He then suddenly grabs my face and pulls it closer to him. We smile at each other and kiss.

After a few seconds , we break apart for air.
"Good morning , babe" James says to me , laughing a little.
"Good morning. Now , didn't I wake you up in a great way?" I ask mischievously, raising an eyebrow.

"The kiss? Yeah." He retorts. I shake my head at him, still not moving from our position on the floor.
"Come on. We should get up-" I say and start getting up , only to be pulled back down by him.

"We can stay in here a little longer, Mav" he says. "Unless you are uncomfortable" he frowns a little, raising an eyebrow.
"Nah. I am very comfortable like this" I retort , smiling and wrap my arms around him . He smiles and kisses my forehead. We stay like that for a few minutes , until we hear the sound of footsteps outside the room.

We then get up from the floor and change out of our pajamas. James went first into the bathroom and then went out of his room without saying anything. I shrugged and was about to change into my last's outfit when James entered the room with a set of clothes in his hand . I look at him questioningly .

"I told mum about what happened. She lent you a set of casual clothes that might fit you." He says giving me the outfit.

Phew. Thank you, Ginny . Last night's dress was NOT comfortable for me . That is not the kind of clothes I would wear for casual.
"Thanks" I smile gratefully and enter the bathroom to change.

Ginny had lent me a t-shirt and a pair of black skinny jeans :

I change into them and head out of the bathroom, my boyfriend's shirt and Lily's short in hand. I'll wash these and return them to James. Hmm , now what about my dress... ah-ha!

I grab my wand from the nightstand and point it at the black dress. "Reducio" it shrinks to a small size that could fit in a pocket. I smile happily and put it in the pocket of the jeans .

I point my wand at the set of clothes in my hand and say "Aguamenti" . Water comes out of the tip and west the clothes. "Scourgify" I say again and the clothes get dry a Dan clean again. All done!. I look down and see a bit of water had dropped on the floor . So I used the spell again as James entered the room again.

"What's taking so long?" He asked , eyebrows furrowed.
"Oh. I was just cleaning the clothes I wore last night." I say , shrugging while folding the clothes.

"You don't have to do that, Mav." James says coming up behind me and hugging me from behind.

"But I wanted to , babe." I says smiling , leaning my head back so that it was on his shoulder.

Suddenly , I hear the sound of a camera clicking . Surprised , we look at the door to see Ginny , Harry and Teddy standing outside. Harry was holding a camera in his hand. They were all dressed for work .

I quickly blush and try to get out of our pose but James did not seem to let go . Oh well. So I just got comfortable with the situation.

"You two are so cute" Ginny compliments grinning. Harry , who was checking the photo, and Teddy , who seemed to have just been walking by , nod in confirmation.

"You two are cuter than Teddy and Vic" Harry adds.
"Ouch , uncle Harry!" He says dramatically putting his hand to his chest .
We all laugh and go down for breakfast .

'Thanks for the clothes , by the way , Ginny. I'll return them as soon as possible ." I tell her , as we sit down at the table.
"No problem, Mavis. They suit you well." She compliments.
"Thanks!"

James and I then tell Harry and Teddy about what happened and Teddy decided to come with us . After breakfast , the three of us head to the place where we left Sam.

Teddy takes Sam to the ministry as I kiss James 'bye' .

"You have to come this weekend though" he informs me. I raise an eyebrow in question.
"Albus and Lily would love to meet you , Mav" he says matter-of-factly.

"Ohh! Right." I realise "Okay. Send me a letter or text me when I should come. I have no idea why you don't use your phone more." I confess.
He chuckles and answers, "Alright, I'll text you. My family hasn't got used to phones yet, well mum, dad and I."

"You are such a dork" I say , getting closer to him and putting my hands on either sides of his head.
"I am your dork" he retorts with a smile and presses his forehead against mine. I smile at him , cheekily and say "Yep. Mine, only" he says and kisses my nose.

I giggle a little and kiss him passionately. He returns the kiss. After a few seconds we break apart for air.
"Bye , Babe" I tell him , while panting slightly.
"See you soon, Mav" he replies , panting too. We smile at each other and then we disapparate to our respective places.

Mum hadn't gone to work yet. She does part-time at Gringotts and Flourish and Blotts.
She hugs me as soon as I enter the house . She pulls away .

"Mavis , you had me worried last night , honey" she says , worry visible in her voice.
"I'm home now , mum" I smile at her "I just forgot to tell you last night that I was staying with James."

"Ah-ah." She stops me , raising an eyebrow and swaying her index finger in front of me. "You are gonna tell me what exactly happened last night" she narrows her eyes at me.

No surprise here. I cannot keep a secret from her , if my life depended on it , I think .

"Okay, mum" I reply , we both heading into the living room. We sit down and I tell her everything that happened from my arriving at the Potter Manor to Sam kidnapping me and James coming for me."
She listens intently .

"Well?" I ask after I finished my story. (It's mine, Mavis!!)
"That Sam better be glad that you and James gave him what he deserved, or else he would have gotten some bones broken." She says and flicks her wand . A bludger comes into her hand from the broom shed.
Well he wouldn't have survived the beater in her. I shake my head and laugh.

"The potters seem really nice, though" she comments with a smile.
"Yep, they are" I say as we both get up .

"Ok now I gotta go to work . See you later , dear" she informs me.
"See you later , mum" I reply.
She then grabs her bag and disapparates . I head to my room to change back into comfy clothes and watch a movie for a while.

Guys? Am I... am I making them too cute? What is happening to me? *sigh*
