~A Few Days Later~

Teddy's POV
Spring break was over a week ago and Lily,Hugo,Rose,Al,Rox,Lucy,Louis and Domi are all back at Hogwarts . It's been boring without Lily , Al , Rose and Hugo running around the house chasing each other and shouting at one another and today being a Saturday , even more. Yeah, I know , James is still at home but he just sleeps all morning on weekends . Wait , sleeps all morning . Ah ha! I am gonna give him a taste of his own medicine . He is training to be an auror for Merlin's sake! He should wake up early. Ginny and Harry are downstairs watching the television . It is 9 o'clock right now ... perfect. Time to put my prank in motion.

I stand in front of the mirror in my room and morph my face into McGonagall's . I grab my wand and walk out of my room before checking the corridor. All clear . Just as I enter James' room , I point my wand at my clothes and whisper "Multicorfors" . My clothes now look like McGonagall's robes . I entered the bedroom and see James snoring and .. drooling too. He is definitely dreaming . I point my wand at his head and whisper "Revelio" , a cloud forms over his head showing his dream . I see a girl with dark brown hair and green eyes . She and James are sitting under a blossom tree , cuddling. Jamesie has a crushie ~ I then stop the spell . I smirked at him and pointed my wand at his face "Aguamenti"I say loudly.

James' POV
Mavis and I  are cuddling under a tree . Then suddenly .......
"Aguamenti!"  I feel water splashing onto my face and wake up immediately and sit up straight , panting. I look to my left to see who did that "Hey! I- P-Professor M-McGonagall!" I am shocked . What was she doing here?

"You may not be a Hogwarts student anymore , Mr.Potter , but I still keep an eye on you" she said sharply.
I gulped. "Ye-Yes, Professor" I avert  my gaze to the floor.

Suddenly, she was laughing , being confused , I looked up at her to see......
"Teddy!?" I shout.
He was still laughing while I was looking at him disbelievingly . Teddy? Pranking ? Me?
"Y-You should S-see y-your fa-face" he said between laughs .

"I was enjoying my dream , Ted" I said seriously .
"Y-yeah I know . I saw it" Teddy replied , putting a stop to his laughter .
He saw my DREAM?! Omgomgomgomgomg!!
He smirked "Who was the girl , James~?" He asked me .
"N-no one!" I reply . Mavis and I wanted to keep it a secret for a while.
"I know you're lying" he said firmly , narrowing his he's at me.
I sighed . He has asked . I can't lie to Teddy and he can keep a secret. "Mavis . Mavis Black. My girlfriend"

Teddy looked confused and his eyes widened "Black? As in Sirius Black?"
"Yes" I answered , waiting for him to ask me to explain it .
"How?"

"Sirius Black secretly married Marlene McKinnon . No one knew . They had a son , Aries and daughter , Artemis . Marlene , Aries and Artemis were made to flee by Sirius. Marlene put her children in the care of her distant brother and sister-in-law. Her brother's , sister-in-law's and children's last names were changed but she didn't change hers. She was killed . Artemis Black is the mother of Mavis , my girlfriend ."
Teddy was in a state of shock as I finished the story .

"Just- Wow!" He breathed and said "So , James how long have you and Mavis been dating?" He wiggled his eyebrows at me . I felt my cheeks heat up a little "Since last May" I say and rub the back of my neck "Please don't tell anyone yet, Teddy"
"Sure, James. But you have to tell aunt Ginny and uncle Harry soon" he tells me firmly.
"Of course!" I say grinning. 

Teddy , who was sitting on the edge of my bed , got up and said "You need to wake up early James . You're training to be an auror! Next time you sleep all morning , I will morph into someone even more scary" he smirked at me and left.
I shook me head and got up , chuckling .

Teddy's POV

I shut James' door and walk downstairs and into the living room. It was now 10 a.m. I find Aunt Ginny and Uncle Harry sitting on the couch watching the movie , Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom , while having popcorn . I take a seat beside them on the couch and grab some popcorn . 

Claire , Owen and the others just came face-to-face with an apatosaurus and .....
"Ugh , commercial" Aunt Ginny said as the movie paused . She grabs the remote and flips through the channels . "
Wait . Stop there , Gin" I hear uncle Harry say . It was a muggle news channel , BBC World News. We hadn't watched this in a while...

(Warning: I am NOT good at reporting news )
"WHO has declared COVID-19 as a pandemic few days ago . The United Kingdom is currently operating in the 'containment' phase , trying to prevent the disease from spreading . Minimum cases as of now . Warning citizens to stay home and be safe till further notice ."  Said the reporter lady
"Thank you , Ms.Sancoeur-"

Aunt Ginny had changed the channel to know more about what was going on.
"Started in Wuhan , spread to the world"
"Covid-19 cases occurring all over the world"
"No cure found yet"
"Countries say it may take months for cure"
"A Chinese doctor dies from the virus"
All the news channels were filled with more information about the virus. Seems to be very serious, I thought.

I looked to my side to see aunt Ginny with wide eyes and Uncle Harry looking bewildered. "What will we do Harry? I don't think anyone in the wizarding world knows .." Aunt Ginny said . "Shouldn't we tell the minister first?" I add.
"Yes Teddy we should" my godfather confirmed. He grabs his wand and says "Expecto Patronum" . His stag patronus appears and Harry sends the message off just as James came downstairs.

"What's with all the stiff air around here ?" James comments .
Ginny turns to him surprised "You're early" she says raising her eyebrows . "Ask him" James points at me.
Harry looks at me and raises an eyebrow . "I am gonna go have breakfast. Bye!" James
Eaves .

What a saviour , I think , mentally rolling my eyes . I tell Harry and Ginny what I did to him to wake him up minus the dream and his girlfriend .

Harry and Ginny were laughing loudly .
"It wasn't funny!!" We hear James' voice say .

~Later~
Harry's POV
It was almost 11:30 a.m. Kingsley said he would come around 11:30 a.m. Knock, knock , knock. I rush to the door and open it to see the minister for magic , Kingsley Shacklebolt .
"Hello Harry"
"Hello Kingsley"
We shake hands. I gesture for him to come in and take a seat . 

"So what was so urgent, Harry? Your patronus said something about a disease.." he asks me. Ginny , Teddy and James enter the living and say hello to him."We were surfing through the muggle channels on our television and there is news of some new disease that has been spread all over the world. It is confirmed as a pandemic, Kingsley. Has the prime minister told you of this yet?" I inform him.

"I haven't seen the prime minister the past few weeks , Harry. Tell me more about this disease." He says .
"Well while waiting for you I did some research (pointer: Harry and Hermione have muggle technology at home like phones , tv , computer, etc) ......" Ginny starts.

~After the explanation~
Kingsley's POV
"So what do you think , minister?" Teddy asked me after Harry and Ginny  had finished telling me all about this COVID-19 disease.
"I think that we should take precautions as well. You said muggles were using face masks , is that right, Ginny?" I question.
"Yes" Ginny said , nodding.

"So instead the wizarding community can use the bubble-head charm when going out. And restrictions should be put up too. I'll let St.Mungo's know about this and tell them to find a cure of some kind for this virus . I will have to talk to the prime minister too. The Daily Prophet will have to publish about this . Ginny ?"
"Yes?"

"You are promoted to editor. Take care of this." I say and stick my out shake hers.
"O-Of course , Minister" she replies and shakes my hand.
"Wait! What about Hogwarts? The students , my cousins.." James reminded worriedly.
"I believe that once I discuss this matter with the Prime Minister and all the other wizarding ministers, I would come to an answer to what to do about that, James" I answer the young potter.

He nods in response.
"If that is it then , I will take my leave" I tell them.
"Yes , Kingsley . Thank you for coming to discuss the matter" Harry says and smiles at me .
I smile back and say "Anytime Harry. Goodbye"
"Goodbye Minister!"I hear the four of them say as I apparate to the ministry.

Ginny's POV
I sighed as Kingsley disapparated . I've been promoted!!! To the editor! Of the daily prophet!! I thought excitedly.
"Ginny cool down. I can hear your thoughts very loudly." Harry says.
"Sorry Harry I was so excited that I stopped blocking our true love's bond" I say and giggle. It's been years since we had this bond.

"James has something to tell you two!" Teddy suddenly said. I turn to James and see him looking wide-eyed at Teddy.
"He does?" I ask .
"Yes"
"No"
I narrow my eyes at them.

"Ok fine I do!" James confessed.
What is it , James? Harry asks him.
"Uh. Um- I have a girlfriend" James tells us.
Doesn't surprise me . He had a lot of girlfriends while in Hogwarts. I heard from Lily's letters that half the girls were all over James and Albus , I make sure Harry hears these  thoughts.
"Ok. Who?" Harry asks.
James inhales "Mavis Black." 

My eyes widen as I hear the last name of his girlfriend. Teddy seems to already know all this. I turn to look at Harry , his mouth was hanging and his eyes were wide. He did not seem to be in the state to speak. So I took the lead , "How is she a Black? Is she related to Sirius Black?"
"Sirius Black is Mavis' grandfather. He had two kids with Marlene McKinnon , Aries and Artemis. Artemis Black is Mavis' mom." He explains shortly.

My husband and I nod in understanding .
"So the Black  line still goes on.." Harry finally said with a small smile.
I take his hand a squeeze it , smiling at him.
"Yeah dad" James replies.

"How long have you and Mavis been dating ?" I ask him turning to look at him.
His face turns red . He is blushing. I never saw him blush... wow. Seems like he really likes this Mavis . I smile at my thoughts .
"10 months" Teddy replies for James .
"Oh really? I see~" I say teasingly. James' face got even more red .

"When will we meet her , James?" Harry asks making James look up in shock.
"You want to meet her?" We nod.
"Uhh. Um.. I'll send her a letter and ask her , dad.." he tells us.
"Okay then son" Harry replies with a smile. He quickly runs up the stairs to write his girlfriend a letter . All of us chuckle at his eagerness.

Why did Teddy tell Harry and Ginny about that ? He said he wouldn't .
You'll find out in the next chapter! Oh and Artemis Black is actually the daughter of Sirius Black ! If you want to check search for Mavis Longbottom and Artemis Black . It is very confusing. But I just love the fanon wikia !
