Yeah, I know it's been a long time guys , sorry for the wait. I was struggling with something and had to go on a hiatus. But here I am! Munching on strawberries while typing this chapter lol .

25th March 2020

Lily's POV

I woke up to the sound of my digital alarm clock. What time is it..? 7:00. Ugh too early.. I know it is no use trying to sleep again after I woke up so I just think of the past few days.

We , Hogwarts students, were sent home. No signs of going back any soon.

James introduced his girlfriend to us. Who knew he had one? Mavis is cool.

We met Adelena after a long time. She is gonna stay for a long time here. She told me and Rose that her mother , being a single mom, had been struggling .

Albus fell for her. Wait I gotta make sure it isn't her Veela charm but HER.

Those two joined forces and got Scorose to sail.

That's about everything I guess...

Oh yeah, we sang happy birthday to Al that evening.

I look at my clock again. 7:20.
I sigh. Better get up and get ready. So I get up from bed , grab good clothes and go to the bathroom.

~Later~

I wonder if mum is awake.... I'm hungry... I go down the stairs to find that mum was not awake after all. But someone else was... as I could hear someone humming.

I enter the kitchen to see Al at the counter with headphones in , listening to music , while having cereal,I think. His back was facing me so I thought I'd scare him.

I tip-toe towards him slowly and quietly. I reach to grab his shoulder and pull him back...

"Hey there, Lily!" I hear a very (VERY) familiar voice from behind me and see Teddy standing there, with a groggy James behind him, who is rubbing his eyes, violently.

I pout at the new-comers as they had ruined my plan. Now Al has noticed my presence , including , James and Teddy's of course.

"Oh! Hey everyone!" Al says , while removing his headphones , happily, not having had a single clue what was about to happen before Teddy came in.

Meanwhile Teddy was giving me an I-saw-that look.  Oh well, it was just Teddy, anyway, I'll get back at him.... if I feel like it.. I glare a little at Teddy and the turn quickly to face Al.

"Hi Al. What you doing up so early?" I ask him , smiling.
"I could ask you all the same." He replies with a laugh.
We all laugh a little and then start to think about breakfast.

"So...." James starts.
"What about breakfast?" I continue.
"I prepared some cereal for myself.." Al shrugs, showing his bowl. (When you didn't sleep all night and you were hungry early in the morning. Happened once lol)

"I don't know. What would you all like? I can make something , at least something to last till aunt Ginny wakes up." Teddy admits, shoving his hands into his pockets.
"I think a little cereal would do it, honestly" James adds.
"Yeah" Teddy and I agree with him.

We get ourselves bowls and spoons, and take our seats at the kitchen counter. James sat beside Al while Teddy and I sat opposite to them. The three of us pass the cereal and milk among each other, while Al answered my previous question.

"Well, I just couldn't sleep properly, you know." He stated sadly.
"You know.... it is said that when you can't sleep, someone is thinking about you." James added in, while adding milk to his cereal.
"Who'd be thinking about me at 2 a.m.??" Albus says loudly, with exasperation.

I quietly snicker , having an idea on who that could be. No one noticed that snicker , luckily.
"So what are your stories for waking up early?" Al asks the rest of us.
"Alarm clock.." I mumble grumpily, whiling mixing the cereal and milk in my bowl, with  my spoon.

My brothers chuckle. I look questioningly at Teddy so that he will know that I want him to answer the question too.
"Oh, I got something important to take care of before the party starts, so I'll be leaving at about 9:00." He informs us. Hm..

We all turn our heads towards James who is currently pigging out, though half-asleep.
" I woke him up" Teddy blankly states, a look of disapproval evident on his features.
Al and I just chuckle and go back to eating our cereal.

~After Cereal-time~

After we were done, We cleaned our own bowls and put them in the drier. James had gone to wash up and to look more awake.

Hm.. mum and dad aren't awake yet.. what can the rest of us do? I think as I lean my back on the kitchen counter. Of course!

"Hey boys, do you wanna play some quidditch? Just the four of us?" I ask them , turning to face Teddy and Albus. I could hear James coming down the stairs as the noise of the footsteps was kind of messy.

"Sure!" James says loudly , entering the kitchen. Guessed it.
"And after that can we look for our Exploding snap cards? I couldn't find the in my room.. Any of you have them?" Albus questions us.

"I think I have them in my room.. I'm not sure, Al." I reply honestly, trying to remember where I kept them.
"Oh, okay. First, quidditch then. Exploding snap later." He announces cheerfully.

"To the broom shed!" Teddy shouts enthusiastically. We laugh and go grab our brooms.
All of our brooms are Firebolts.

"Okay, now that we have grabbed the brooms, quaffle and snitch. Next up, Teams." James instructs, switching into his 'quidditch captain character'.
He can't get over the fact that he isn't playing quidditch as Gryffindor captain ,can he? I think to myself.

"Lily and I are a team." Al says , looking at me for confirmation. I smirk and nod. They're so losing.
"Then that means, it's you and me, James." Teddy says looking at his partner, with a half smile.

"Uh-huh." James nods and walks a bit far away with Teddy. He then turns around and shouts, "You know the rules, guys!" And turns around again and starts talking with Teddy about his game plan.

"So...who's gonna be the seeker? You or me?" I ask Al. Both of us are the seekers of our own house, and Teddy was a seeker for Hufflepuff for a while too, but we got the advantage here.

"You'll be the chaser." Al says "You have played/practiced as a chaser before but I have not so it is the most logical choice." I nod .
"I also have a plan." Al starts and explains it to me.

"We got this, Al" I state smirking after he told me the plan.
"Yes, we do" he says smirking.

"We're done! Teddy is the seeker for our team! I'm chaser obviously!" James shouts loudly from the place he was standing.
"I am the seeker! Lily is playing chaser!" Al shouts back just as loud.

Just as we were about to get into our positions in the quidditch pitch we had in the huge  backyard , we heard two loud POPs. The sound of someone apparating in. We turn towards the direction of the sound and find none other than our grandparents about half a kilometre away from us.

"Kids!" Grandma Molly shouts happily. We get on our brooms and fly to them quickly. "Hey there grandma, grandpa." Teddy says grinning. "Not that we're not happy to see you here but aren't you two a little early for the party?" He asks chuckling nervously.

"Oh! Your parents had said that we should stay at your place for a while so we came packed." Grandpa Arthur said grinning from ear to ear.
"Ohhh. Yeahh, we forgot about that." James said while rubbing the back of his head "But we don't see any luggage with you..." he asked confused. Al and I were just as confused but Teddy was just standing looking like he knew what was going on.

Grandpa then showed us two pockets of his jacket. We saw two suitcases , minimised by using the 'Reducio' charm. James, Al and I were mind blown as we all looked like fools.

"Why didn't I ever use that charm to carry my luggage?!?" All three of us shouted , exasperated and feeling dumb. Grandpa and grandma were having victorious expressions
"You never used that spell for that purpose??" Teddy asked laughing.

Grandma and grandpa chuckled and then asked us what we were doing. We explain thy we had woken up early and were about to play quidditch. Grandma asked us if we had anything to eat. We replied that we had some cereal. She spoke her head wit a look of disapproval and disappeared as quick as a rabbit.

"She has most probably gone to make good breakfast for everyone." Grandpa Arthur adds , laughing "None of you all are gonna escape her food wrath for a while."
Al and I visibly gulp as Teddy looks kind of scared. James just looked like a puppy that got a new ball to play with.

"Grandpa, we need someone to keep the score and release the quaffle and snitch. Mind helping us out?" James requests.
"Of course not , James. Now tell me where I'm supposed to stand." Grandpa answers happily.

Arthur's POV

All of us get into our positions. James and Teddy on one side of the pitch and Lily and Albus on the other side . While I stand in the center of them all. I release the quaffle and as soon as I did that Lily and James dive for it. I then release the snitch resulting in Albus and Teddy chasing it.

James had the quaffle in his hand while Lily was chasing him. Trying to get the quaffle out of his hands. She tries to distract him and get it but fails. He speeds up and scores. This time Lily was faster to get the quaffle and goes full speed to score. James does a sharp turn and goes after her . Unfortunately she was quite far for him to catch up before she throws the quaffle into the hoop. And she throws the quaffle into it.

That's a tie now. 10-10. As she lunges on her broom for the quaffle again James scoops it up by flying in her blind spot, which is right side down, and goes for the hoop. Lily quickly does a 180 degree turn on her broom and chases after him. She is close but not enough to catch up to him. Suddenly she starts swooping down.

Is something wrong with her broom..? I think to myself, watching closely. James was now throwing the quaffle into the opposing team's hoop. As the quaffle was a few inches away from going into the hoop, Lily swoops in and catches the quaffle and speeds away towards the other hoop.

James looks surprised, but quickly regaining composure, speeds after her. She looks back at him and laughs. She throws the quaffle into the hoop and catches it when it comes through the other side of it. As she was about to throw it in again , to make another score , James snatches it away , as quick as lightning. Soon, Lily is on his trail and he is heading for the hoop. He scores . Tie again , 20-20.

I turn my attention to Albus and Teddy , who seemed to be still looking for the snitch. I then feel something moving behind me. I look behind me to see....

The snitch! I laugh quietly and shoo it away . How long has it been behind me? No wonder they couldn't still find it. I laugh to myself as I watch both Albus and Teddy chase the snitch. They both fight for the snitch while it is flying to get far from them.

Meanwhile James scored two more times, making it 40-20. Lily presently has the quaffle and is flying towards the hoop at top speed, while James is chasing her like a niffler after a bag of gold.  She scores. James lunges for the quaffle but is interrupted by Teddy and Albus chasing the snitch. This catches both the chasers off-guard and they remain there paralysed in air for a few seconds.

They're lucky the seekers didn't crash into them. They soon regain their confidence and lunge for the quaffle that had been falling slowly . As they both get close , Lily slows down. But that isn't noticed by James who has his eyes on the quaffle. I notice Lily and Albus share a quick glance , in which Lily winks at him with a small smile.

Albus soon speeds up and gets closer to the snitch. James gets the quaffle and heads for the hoops , with Lily following him slower than before. "Oh no , you don't!" Teddy shouts as he speeds up but not enough to catch up with Albus. Both of them stretch out their right arms to catch the snitch.

As James gets closer to the hoop, ready to throw the quaffle in, Albus stands up on his broom and jumps towards the snitch. He manages to catch it and lands on his broom , still standing on it. I make a loud whistle noise with my wand and shout, "THE MATCH IS OVER! TEAM LILY AND ALBUS HAS WON!"

Lily flies over to Albus and hi-fives him. "Nicely done , Al!" Lily shouts as he sits back on his broom.
"Thanks, sis!" He shouts back beaming.

"That was a really good game, guys." Teddy a, who just landed says genuinely, smiling. "James was about to score and you ended the match, real good."
"Yeah, I should have noticed that Lil's was slowing down." James adds in, while rubbing the back of his head , sticking his tongue out sillily .

(A/N: I legit didn't think the word 'sillily' existed till I typed it in this. And James is like this: 😜)

"Good game, everyone!" I shout as I walk up to my grandchildren, who are landing and getting off their brooms.
"Thanks grandpa!" They answer loudly.
"Now, go put the brooms back in the broom shed and go clean yourselves, Molly will not let you eat anything for today if she sees you like that." I joke, making them laugh.

As the four of them walk towards the broom shed , discussing about Albus' new manoeuvre and quidditch tips, I apparate to the kitchen. I see Molly setting down plates and decide to help her.

Ginny's POV

(A/N I was just itching to write some hinny but then realised that hinny is too old for that much fluff 🥲)

I wake up to the sound of someone shouting, "The match is over." I recognised that voice even in my half-asleep state. Dad? Must have come early... no matter, mum will take care of the kids.. I notice that Harry's arms are wrapped around my waist. So I turn around slowly to face him.

He is still sleeping... I take the chance to kiss his nose to wake him up. He doesn't wake up. Then I kiss his lips softly. He quickly responds by kissing back. He opens his eyes and grins through the smile. I break the kiss.

"So you were awake after all." I comment, looking at him angrily.
"Yes, I just wanted to see what you would do if I didn't wake up." He replies with a sly smile.

I shake my head as we both laugh a little. I then wrap my arms around him and snuggle into him.
"Shouldn't we wake up, Gin? The kids could've woken up and they need breakfast..." Harry suggests.

"No need to worry, Harry. I heard Dad's voice. I think they came early today and mum would be here too so we can sleep for a little more." I reassure him , snuggling more into him.

"Okay then. I guess it is five more minutes for both of us-" Harry gets interrupted by a loud noise. Was that Lily? Screaming?
Both of us share a look and quickly grab our wands, putting on our bathrobes and rushing for Lily's room, with serious faces.

As we enter our daughter's room we find all James, Albus and Lily sitting on the floor. Teddy was there too, looking like he just got up from the floor. We quickly look around to see if any stranger was there. No one.

"What happened, Lily? Why did you scream? Anything wrong?" Harry asks concerned. The kids just look at us and blink, blankly.
"Er.. I.. actually.." Lily starts nervously as Harry and I walk up to them.

"It was nothing, mum." James takes over, assuring us.
"We had just found our exploding snap cards so we were checking if any cards were misplaced. Then Teddy accidentally spilled the glass of water I brought up and Lily screamed from shock." Albus explains.

Harry and I just nod in understanding as Lily and Teddy look timid and embarrassed. I saw that the water was spreading , being the reason Teddy was standing.
"Accio cloth." I summon a kitchen cloth. It quickly zooms into the room and into my hand. I use it to cover the water with it so it doesn't spread more.

"Sorry." Teddy and Lily mumble. Harry and I just smile and ruffle each of their hair. "It's fine." Harry replies.

"Did you all have breakfast?" I ask them all. They nod in response.
"Cereal. But grandma is making something else for us all." James adds in.
"Oh , I see. I'll go check if she needs help then." I say , moving towards the door.

"Don't forget to dry up those cards, kids." I hear Harry telling them before following me downstairs.
I sniff a little while walking downstairs and get the smell of bacon and toast.
"Toast." Harry states.
"And bacon." I add, grinning.

We walk into the kitchen and see Mum flipping bacon on the pan while making omelettes and Dad taking out toasted bread form the toaster.
"You should have asked the kids for some help." I say walking up to the kitchen counter.

"They're kids Ginny , plus I am more than capable of doing cooking on my own." Mum smiles as she answers.
"Alright then, you won't be doing any cooking for the rest of the week. Leave it to us and take rest , Mum." I suggest to her, while grabbing a glass of water.

Mum sighs and nods in response.I help her with the breakfast as Harry calls the kids down. We all sit down at the table and eat , peacefully. Then suddenly, Teddy shoots up in his chair.

"Oh no, I'm late! I gotta leave now." He says in a rushed voice , stuffing the rest of his toast in his mouth "Thanks for the breakfast!" He exclaims , his mouth full and disappears as quick as lightning.

We all just shrug and continue to finish our breakfast.
