Ever since that weekend in Hogsmeade I had kept Dumbledore and my Uncle up to date. When Umbridge tried to stop us Gryffindors from playing Quidditch. I went straight to McGonagall who went to Dumbledore. Who overruled Umbridge and let the team play Quidditch.

I worked the team hard, not as hard as Oliver did. Until our first match of the season against Slytherin. The Slytherins have been trying to trip or jinx us in the corridors. Harry got it the worst, but Ron took it the hardest. As it was only his first year on the team and wasn't use to all the things done to us.

I was never bullied though so I stuck close to Harry to protect him. I had feeling Draco was the reason behind me not being a target. It was the day of the first Quidditch match. Ron hardly eat anything, but he did when I glared at him.

I told Harry about the badges the Slytherins were wearing and to not let Ron see them. I headed down to the pitch early to check the conditions. Everything was perfect for the first match of the season.

When the others arrived we all went to change into our Quidditch robes. I was in the captains room and went over my speech. I left the room and entered the main one.  Everyone was ready and waiting so I said "this is our first match. Let's prove Umbridge wrong and show her we deserve to be a team. And play Quidditch now let's win for Gryffindor" the other repeated my last two words.

We existed the changing room and went onto the pitch. I shook the hand of the Slytherin captain before we took to the sky. When the quaffle was released I grabbed it first heading straight to the goals. I passed to Katie at the last minute and she scored a goal in the right hoop.

Then Slytherin got a hold of the quaffle and their house started singing a song. It was a song meant to throw Ron off his game and it was working. Harry caught the snitch though and we won the match.

I walked over to Ron and told him we'd talk later. He nodded and went to the changing rooms. Ginny came over to me and told me Harry got into a fight. I turned to see Harry and Fred on top of Draco. While Katie and Angelina held George back from attacking.

I was about to walk over but McGonagall beat me to it. She took Harry and Fred to her office to discuss their punishment. The Slytherin team took Draco to the hospital wing. I scolded George after the other two told me want had happened.

When Harry and Fred came back into the common room. They told me that they and George were banned from playing Quidditch by the Toad. Also that their brooms were being confiscated.

I was devastated our first match as a team and me as the captain. I had managed to lose both my beaters and my seeker. I ran from the common room wanting to be alone.

When I got to the Astronomy Tower I cried quietly to myself. I heard someone walking towards and wiped my tears away seeing "leave me alone Harry".

"I am not Harry, why are you crying Faline?" Draco Malfoy asked.

I stood and yelled at him "it's all your fault! Now I have no Beaters or a Seeker! Are you happy now? You just ruined my first match as a captain! And I thought we were still friends, I was wrong obviously! Or you wouldn't of made up that stupid song or badges! Just leave me alone I don't want to see you again!"

When I finished I ran out of the room before he could stop me. I was crying as I ran through the corridor and I wasn't paying attention to where I was going. By the time I released I was falling down two flights of stairs. It was to late and I heard someone scream my name from the top of the stairs.  I blacked out and the last thing I heard were many worried voices & hurried footsteps.
