later, I had carried Wonder with me and arrived at the abandoned apartments. they were so run down and covered with debris and dirt. there were a few red stains on the walls of a few of them.

apparently, the reason they were abandoned was because people thought they were haunted.

I cant really blame them though, it was the site of a few murders after all. Jack the Ripper was to thank for that little story. what I can, however, blame them for was that they were still terrified of this place even though Jack the Ripper died almost 200 years ago. I mean seriously, GET OVER IT!

the one I chose was one with 4 rooms:

a 4 by 3m living room / kitchen;

a decent sized bathroom with a shower but no water, a dirty sink and a mouldy, marble toilet;

and 2 average bedrooms with peeling purple wallpaper in one and scratched, faded black paint in the other.

I decided to stay in the purple room as there was something dead in the other. I wandered around the dirt coated red carpet, inspecting the cracked window on the East, the ripped boy band posters on the far wall -they're going. other than those (f/bb) ones- the boxes of ruined eye shadow and finally, the poster of that show I loved as a girl.

I remember it now. I would watch all of the series' on repeat. I knew the theme songs, the characters, the catchphrases. everything!

I worshipped Yana Tobaso (the author); Brina Palencina; J. Michael Tataum; Luci Christian. the whole group of voice actors. I even shipped them: (list ships)

I swept back my hair and traced the outlines of the characters on the poster and observed them, testing myself on the names and catchphrases.

I sighed in sadness. I had believed with all my heart that someday, I would meet Ciel and Sebastian. they are eternally living demons after all! but, I never did. a stupid hope, right? to meet a character that doesn't exist?

I never even had the chance to go to anime con.

enough about this! I have stuff to do and people to feed! (well, person and fox but who cares.)

I was preparing a chicken sandwich at 8:39pm for dinner/tea when I felt something small and fluffy rub against my leg and the vibration of the low purrs. I turned to lift Wonder up to sit up on the counter as I cut the small meal in 2 with a knife crusted with remains of old food. I gave him half as I lifted the other to my own mouth and devoured the meat and bread slowly to make it last and to make the food supply seem more.

once the fox had swallowed the last of the crumbs, he held his head up and stared at my share. "what you looking at?" I mumbled with my mouth full. I wasn't about to share my precious food!

it was now 11:11 and I was preparing for bed when I heard a buzzing come from the poster. curious, I approached but when I went to touch it, my fingers came away burnt and i hissed angrily in pain before ripping it furiously from the wall. I did not expect to see the large hole with a bright lapis blue light in the centre.

stupidly, I decided to pack my rucksack and crawl into the tunnel. I then realised that I should disguise myself before entering unknown places. so I swirled my long, (h/c) hair into a bun atop my head and covered it with a ruffled blonde, males wig. I was already dressed in rather boyish clothing so I turned back to the blue light with had somehow moved around the next corner. perfect, I thought as I wrapped a (f/c) cloth over my face up to my eyes for protection against gases and crawled further and further away from my refuge.

until I found myself engulfed in the blue light. I heard voices, no, it cant be! "Mother, Father?!" I shouted. the light flowed and filled my mouth, through the feeble cloth and choked me. "*cough*! help! M-*cough cough gasp cough*- other? F-*gasp! cough gasp!* father?" everything faded from me as I ran out of breath and the last I saw was my (s/c) hand, translucent and gently glowing white...
