While I was wandering
I lost my way back to my home
Home ..which was small, cozy and comfortable..

Out of nowhere
You appeared in the middle of the river
It took a lil time to approach you or
Did you find me? I don't know!

Whatever the reason..
I stepped in.. you were spacious,
Smelled sweet and I felt like home.
I didn't change anything inside you
But just got so well adjusted
That I couldn't find anything wrong
Inside

Soon, I shared everything with you and
You shared everything with me
No, we were not lovers.. we were
Just best friends who loved eachother's company.

We were at home selecting things for each other.
Sharing deep conversations, emotions, smiles, sad moments.
Then you drifted away..
But that was not the end bcz
We never parted from our friendship.

Days were passing by well
And we grew to besties from strangers..
Now, there was wind which made you
Drift away slowly..
I have seen you slowly drifting away.. away from shore, away from me.. and there is no way I could get back to you.

Now I realised the home which I felt "like home" was just temporary.. giving residence to other person and sharing different emotions and decorating you differently (or beautifully)
But I couldn't recognise you anymore!

Now im back to my lil cozy and comfortable home
I'm happy
I'm happy that I could call it MINE!
