it had nearly been a week since jaemin and jeno had done their "date" thing and honestly, unfortunately, both were as dense as SM's basement and that meant jaemin had been moping because he thought for sure there'd be another date especially since at his house they'd maybe kissed. but, that was besides the point.

the point was jisung was sick of his brother bemoaning and crying over jeno's magazines.

so he decided, with chenle on the phone, to log into his brother's twitter on his phone (which jaemin had done before so it wasn't hard) and open their private messages.

"oh god, they haven't talked since the date." jisung said as he looked, and chenle sighed heavily.

"we should fix it."

"how?"

"hm, what would be a Jaemin to do?"

"send a meme."

"jaemin!" jisung screamed after about twenty minutes of processing and only heard a thump in return. "jeno's coming over!"

"he's what?" jaemin said, looking at his brother who was outside his door frantically. "stop playing."

"i'm not! check your twitter! i may have done something and now he's coming over - oh god i meant well! anyways, to give you two privacy i'm gonna yeet myself off the fire escape bye!" jisung raced out of the room and out the door, running past a masked boy. "jeno, he's inside!"

jeno blinked, wondering how jisung knew it was him, then shrugged as he stepped into the apartment and made his way to jaemin's bedroom just as he heard a screech from the room.

racing in, he saw jaemin halfway out his window, his tiny frame folded to fit through and maybe land on a fire escape or, even better, fall seven stories down onto the concrete.

jeno grabbed the smaller boy and picked him up easily, making jaemin scream bloody murder. "jaemin, stop screaming!"

"it was jisung who sent those!" jaemin shouted back, pouting. "you don't like me!"

"i- the texts are right there dumbass!" jeno replied, frowning. "i like you!"

"are you sure? you could just be -" jeno didn't even think, instead balling jaemin's shirt in his fists and pulling him into a kiss.

despite his actions, the kiss itself was soft, like jeno didn't want to hurt jaemin, and jaemin, still trying to talk, pulled away. "just be playing with me! i'm not attractive -"

"jaemin." jeno's tone was firm, and jaemin shut up. "you're beautiful. i want to be with you. even if it's long distance. i am so lucky to have met you. i'm sorry if this is too quick and you don't like me. i just know how i feel - oh i should've thought of that before kissing you, i'm sorry jaemin, i'm sorry."

"you're rambling." jaemin said softly, and jeno mimicked zipping his lips.

jaemin only giggled, looking at jeno before jumping onto jeno, wrapping his legs around him, and making jeno squeal as he fell backwards onto jaemin's bed. jeno wrapped his arms around jaemin, who smiled despite his messy hair and pyjamas.

"i like you lee jeno. and that was how i would confess, just saying."

"makes you even more perfect," jeno smiled, and jaemin looked his face over before settling on his lips and his eyes flicking back up to jeno's as if he was asking permission.

jeno didn't wait, instead lacing his hand in jaemin's soft hair and pulling him down, making jaemin giggle softly into the kiss. when they pulled away, jeno smiled at jaemin widely.

"should we make it official?"

"how would we do that?"

"blush blush blush hush hush hu-"

"yes i'll date you."

"yes!" jeno cheered, and jaemin rolled his eyes before kissing jeno's cheek lightly. "but i'm definitely troy."

"that's fine, gabriella's a power bottom."

"oh then i'm gabriella."

"jeno what -"

"you did say you'd fuck me indirectly," jeno winked, and jaemin blushed red.

"it was jisung who sent it!"

"you're not denying it."

jaemin gently pulled jeno into a kiss, which jeno smiled into.
