Playlist - Too Good At Goodbyes by Sam Smith
Ares
I dragged my bottom lip between my teeth, amused at the sight of her friendly exchange with my sister. There was a slight pinkness brighter than normal on her beautifully crafted face.
I was happy to be visiting my sister, just like I do every now and then. No one would be suspicious, that I specially came to see her.
When Charlotte texted me about Luna spending the evening with her, I immediately hopped in my car and drove all the way to see her. I was intentionally avoiding running into her at school, on the streets anywhere. I knew it would make her mad and now she tried her best to ignore me.
“Oh, Ares,” Charlotte said. “I forgot to give you your package. It arrived last week from Dubai. Just let me get it.”
“Should I help retrieve it?” Luna immediately said. I knew she didn't trust herself alone with me. And she shouldn't. I had unholy things to do to her.
“No,” Charlotte chuckled. “It's just a small package. Not an issue.” And she went upstairs get it.
I was seated on the barstool of the kitchen counter. Occasionally taking a sip of my drink not once taking my eyes off her. On the other hand, Luna was evading looking in my direction, doing anything, but acknowledging my presence.
“So,” I trailed off. “Black looks good on you.” It did. She pulled off black better than others, not only it highlighted her beautiful figure, but also her bright golden hair. Not to forget, that red lipstick she donned this evening. It would look so good smudged on my dick.
She huffed out, averting her face. I rotated the barstool in her direction so she would be facing me this evening. She could avert her gaze from me, all she wanted, but I would still be facing her, observing her.
She would constantly fidget with her outfit, pulling her polo neck tshirt down, shaking her right knee, lightly tapping the floor. Often times, she would meet my gaze, but not for too long as she realized my unmoving gaze on her. I loved how my presence intimidated her, like she was pushed forward in my realm of dominance.
She faced the stairwell, waiting for Charlotte to pull her from being alone with me.
She cradled her chin while drumming the fingers of her other hand in a rhythmic pattern, leaning down to rest on her elbow on her knee. She appeared cute like a kitten.
“What brings you here, Luna?” I ask, in sleek curiosity. “This is your first time visiting Charlotte in awhile, right?”
“Of course, not,” she says, quickly. “We meet over coffee every now and then.” What a liar. If she were to meet Charlotte, I would be the first person to know.
“Why meet each other in a café when you two are literally neighbours?” She looked at my face, clearly caught in a lie.
“Shut up,” she murmured and looked elsewhere. Just when I was about to say something controversial, Charlotte decided to return. Perfect timing.
“Sorry, it took so long.” She descended the stairs. “You two enjoy each other’s company.”
I was about to answer, but Luna beat me to it. “More than you think,” she said, relief spread over her face.
“It's good you two get along.” Charlotte, handed me the package and joined Luna. “I always wanted my friends to get along with Ares, but Ares liked none of them and they didn't stay with me for long.”
Good, a pity party is all we need.
“Well, don't worry,” Luna assured Charlotte. “Your brother and I get along just well.” Oh, really. “He's like an older brother to me as well.” Say, what?
Charlotte choked on her drink and started laughing. “Well, that's a first.”
Did I hear her say I'm like an older brother to her? An older brother? A goddamn brother.
“I've always wanted an older brother and now I have one.” Her sly gaze met mine. That vixen thinks this is funny. I'll show how much of a brother I'm to her.
“What do you have to say to this news, Ares?” Charlotte asks, obviously enjoying this situation.
Two can play this game. “Since we've established, Luna is my sister.” I pressed on the word sister. My intense gaze fixated on her. “I propose to take both of my sisters out for dinner.”
She squirmed under my unmoving gaze. Yes, Luna. Squirm all you want, I've terrible things planned for you.
Charlotte, obviously liking my idea, agreed to my offer. “C'mon, Luna, it'll be fun.”
Luna shook her head. “I don't know,” she began. “I've assignments due…”
“It’s weekend,” Charlotte rolled her eyes. “Give yourself a break. All you do is study.”
Luna kept her smile, which was slowly fading. I'm sure she didn't liked to be a decision maker. “I insist,” I say, in a low tone. “Don’t you want to make me happy? Right after our newfound relationship.” You dug your grave here, Luna. Now, lie in it.
Reluctantly, she agreed. “Okay.”
Charlotte clapped her hands together. “Wow, I'm so happy.” Me too.
“Grab your purses, girls. You're going to have some fun with your brother.”
“Sure, I'll go get it,” Charlotte said and Luna followed her too.
“Me too.” She abruptly got up from the couch. “I'll go grab mine.”
I knew if I let her get out of this house, she will just make some excuse and do a rain-check on dinner. I let her get nearer to the door, just when she was about exist, I made a run for her and grabbed her by waist, pulling her to me.
“Where do you think you're going?” I pulled her towards me, turning her face me.
“Ares,” she said, pleading. “What game are you playing?”
“Oh, don't you know, sis?” My hands settled on her ass, giving it a little squeeze. “Older brothers loves messing with their sisters.”
“I was joking, Ares.” Her doe-like eyes sparkling a little. “Just lightening the mood.”
“Were you?” She nodded
She held her ground for exactly two seconds before giving up. “Alright,” she sighed. “I tried getting back at you for totally ignoring me.” She hit my arm. “Do you expect me to act nicely towards you when all you do is ignore me?”
I would rather have her acting like a lunatic than behave nicely. I love mental pieces. “I don't like being ignored.”
“But, you did call me your brother.”
“You deserve it.”
“So, tell me, Luna, will your brother do this to you.” I tightly squeezed her ass.
“Ares!” she exclaimed.
“Or this,” I slapped her cute ass, hard.
“What!” She gasped with the unexpected blow. “That hurt.” I did it again just to get the same reaction from her. She clutched my tshirt in her fist. “You crazy person.” One last time, I slapped her little harder.
“Mnm…” she moaned a little and I chuckled at her reaction
“So, you do have a kinky side.”
She pushed me away from her, and I let her slip from me. “Shut up.” She began to walk, but I was quick to grab her by the hand and pull her into me.
To my surprise, she took hold of my chin and bit it. Did she just bite my chin?
“Now explain that to your sister.” She wiped her saliva from my chin.
“Which one?” I teased her.
“The one that didn’t blew you,” she retorted.
Ooh, someone grew a pair. “Well, aren't you a devil,” I said.
“A feisty one,” she added.
We were taken aback from our moment when Charlotte made her presence. “Sorry, I can't seem to find anything today.”
“Let’s go.”
*****
My evening with my girls was going pleasantly fine. Luna was seated in front of me while Charlotte in the middle.
Luna and I were stealing glances whilst carrying the conversation. Our chats were light and playful. We kept teasing each, poking fun at our teachers at school and Luna was enjoying mine and Charlotte’s friendly banter.
Everything was going normal, until a familiar face showed up. I didn't need drama at this moment when everything was going just fine. God, help me.
She made her way towards us and I manage to crack a smile and give her a little wave. My sister’s curious gazes turn to look at the person that has my attention.
“Oh, she,” Charlotte immediately recognizes her. “Ew. Slut alert.”
Luna, confused, looks at Charlotte. “Who…. who's that?”
Before Charlotte could answer she reaches my table. “Ares.” She hugs me and I return her hug, still seated.
“Maria.” Her name leaves a bitter taste in my mouth.
She gives a little peck to me and caresses my shoulders. “Fancy seeing you here at this hour of the night.” Her eyes eyes snapped over at Charlotte and Luna. “You’re out with company, I see.”
“I'm surprised to see you in decent clothes tonight,” I joke.
She palms her maxi dress. “Change of wardrobe.”
I look over at Luna her entire demeanor changes as she watches my exchange with Maria. Sorry, Luna. I can't help others reaction toward me.
“You’re coming, right?” I knew what she was referring to and I just nodded in return. “I expect you to be there.” Her head tilts over to my company. “Bring them as well, the more the merrier.”
“I'll think about it,” I say dismissively, and she takes it as a clue to excuse herself.
As soon as she was gone I was bombarded with questions.
“Who was she?” “You still talk to her?” “Where are you going after this?” “I've always hated that girl.”
“Ladies, ladies,” I try to calm them down. “One at a time.”
“Mine first,” Luna says. “Who was she?” She asks, her tone rigid. “Where are you going with her?”
I'm saved by more questions as the waiter brings over our food.
“Answer me before I lose my appetite.” It meant before she stormed out of here.
“Maria is an old friend and was one of the students of our school. She graduated two years ago,” I say. “And she's back in town after a while so one our friend thought about throwing her a party.” I pause. “In Cabo.”
“What?!” They both exclaimed.
“I need a drink.”
“We are not old enough to drink.”
“Let me take care of that.” Alcohol always saves the conversation and even at this moment it did save. The drinks hit the table and I hand each of them Long Island iced tea.
“It’s just like iced tea,” I assure, Luna who was looking warily at me. “Look, Charlotte is drinking hers,” I said looking over at Charlotte who was slowly sipping her drink.
“I don't know….” She pulls her hair over her shoulder, twirling the bright locks around her finger. That action, alone was so sexy. Oh, baby.
I refused to listen to her and handed her the drink. She cautiously look a sip of it. “See, I told you. It's not bad.”
“Cheers.” I tilt my shot toward her in jest and poured it down. The liquid burned my throat, but it was worth it.
Luna sipped her drink from the straw like a baby and I silently laughed to myself and looked at her. But she was good at distracting me and reminding me how much of a tease she could be.
Everything about her turned me on. From the way her slender fingers hold the glass, to the way her throat moves as she swallows.
A million images of how she’d look as she sucked my cock are going through my head until she speaks again.
“Was she,” she begins. “Was she one of your girlfriend?” She says softly, her lips marrying with concern.
I chuckle, shaking my head. “She was a nightmare and never my girlfriend.”
She sighs in relief only for a second. “Did you guys …” she trails off and hesitates to continue.
“Had sex?” I offer her. I knew what was on her mind and I nod in reply. “We did. It was casual.”
“Sex is not casual. It's something you share with the person you love, an intimate part of you becomes theirs and you're not scared of sharing it with them because of the love and trust between each other.”
Luna was old school when it came to sex and I almost pitied her that her belief's wouldn't last longer.
“Well, I think sex is causal and good way of easing stress. I actually feel more energetic after it and….”
“Stop. Stop.” Charlotte stops me in mid sentence. “Too much information. I suggest we change the topic.”
The topic was quickly changed to Netflix’s Bird Box. I swear to God, you cannot talk to others without them mentioning it. People are obsessive.
The night was going pleasantly fine until I changed the conversation. “So, will you go Cabo with me?” I asked Luna.
“You’re asking me?” She pointed herself. I nodded “You want me to go to a party where I can potentially meet all of your sex partners?”
I laugh. “No, sweetie. Not all of them.”
She narrows her eyes at me. “No,” she says, dryly.
“C'mon, I insist.” I try my best to persuade her with my intense gaze. I could be lost in her cerulean blue eyes and when she acts all stubborn it makes them a shade brighter.
“Take Charlotte with you.”
“I would love to go, but I have some work to be done.”
“Yeah, even I have some work to be done.” She uses Charlotte excuse, but I won't let her opt out of this.
“Let me tell you something.” I hold her hand in mine rubbing my thumb over her knuckles. “I could be very persuasive. Very.”
“Let me tell you something too.” She repeats my words. “I can be very adamant.”
“I'm very good at blackmail as well.”
She withdraws her hand from mine and leans back in her seat. “Aren't all you boys good at it?”
‘But I won't know anyone there,” she says.
“You'll know me and that's enough.”
“On one condition.” I eagerly listen to her. “I get to bring a friend of mine.”
That's it? “Sure, anyone you want.”
She smiles. “Alright, I'll go.” Victory.
“I'll pick you up tomorrow at eight. Be ready. It's a beach resort, bring your own bikinis.”
“Oh, I will.” She sips her drink and smiles. I return her smile thinking about the stuff we'll get to do.
The rest of the night passes like blur. We all laugh and I drop both of them in my BMW i8.
“This was fun, Ares.” Charlotte hugs me. “One of the best time.”
“It was.” Luna hugs me as well.
“Alright, see ya.” And Charlotte heads to her foyer. When I'm sure she's inside her house I pull Luna back in my arms and she willingly warps her arms around my neck.
“I think you're pretty,” I tell her genuinely. “I have never seen someone with an eye color so crazy like yours.”
“I'm flattered, Torrance.”
I kiss her lips softly at first, before deciding whether to kiss her hard, she claims my lips aggressively as she holds my face in her palms.
I take the charge of the kiss, thrusting my tongue in her mouth mingling with hers. I squeeze her ass and she gasp in my mouth. My hands move further down nearing her inner thigh.
“Baby, stop me,” I say in between kisses. “Before I rip your fucking pants.”
Slowing down the pace, we finally let go of each other. “I'll see you tomorrow, be ready.” She nods and I trace her lips with my thumb and give her one last kiss.
“Bye.” Her voice soft and she blushed waving at me.
I watched her get inside of her house and smiled to myself. Poor girl!
My phone vibrates in my jeans and fish it out to read the message.
She coming?
Yes. I reply.
As I said, that poor girl has no idea what will hit her.
