I'm Ky's mate, but...how am I Ky's mate. I thought he loved Rachel, why-

"Why did you run away?" A voice said seductively.

I followed to where the voice came from, it was Ky. He was standing in the curtain of veils looking at me with a lust filled expression. My heart pounded at the sight of him in the moon light, I wanted him to hold me, to touch me. I shook my head, snapping those feelings out of my head, I can't love Ky, can I?

"Are you scared of me......Serena?" He said taking a step forward towards me. I took a step back looking at him cautiously, he smirked at my sudden movement.

"So...you are scared of me?" He said.

"N-no...I was just...shocked, that's all," I said as my left hand gripped the balcony wall, my whole body was facing him, but my eyes couldn't meet his. I could hear his foot steps walking towards me, then he stopped and I could feel his presence right in front of me.

"Serena...I'm not going to hurt you, so you shouldn't be scared of me," he said sweetly.

"I know," I said looking up into his eyes.

"Then...what is it?" His eyes shined vibrantly with curiosity.

"It's just..." I looked down from his eyes and onto the floor.

"It's just I can't be your mate, Ky!"

It was silent for a moment and then I heard him gave out a chuckle. I looked up at him, his eyes were filled with mischief and he wore a smile That looked utterly sly. He took a step forward,

"And why is that? Is it because of Rachel, her beauty, her smile, her hands clawing up and down my body making me give out sexy moans..."

Every word that he said about Rachel, it send a pain in my heart and before I knew it...I began to shake.

"...her wonderful and metallic voice, my arms wrapped around her, her body against mine, her lips on my own, her tongue in my-"

"Stop it, Ky! Stop it..." I interrupted him, not wanting to hear him talk about her like that. Like he was her' s when he was actually mine and mine alone, wait...did I just...?

He gave out another small chuckle and I looked at him, he was smiling angelically at me again. He placed his hand on top of the hand I had on the balcony wall. His touch send sparks up my arm, through my shoulder and finally through my whole body. He took a step closer, I could feel his soft and gentle lips on my forehead.

"I'm sorry, baby. I just had to show you." He said softly, chills went down my spine when he called me 'baby'.

"Show me what," I said closing my eyes, wanting him to wrap his arms around me.

He took a step back and looked at me, his eyes were seducing me. His hand on my own was making my heart pound and it was making me drowsy.

"To show you that you do love me." He said with a cocky smile.

"But I-"

"You just asked me to stop, to stop talking about Rachel. Whenever the conversation about my mate came up, you would walk out of the room. When you saw me and Rachel together, you would walk away and not look at me once. It...it hurt me..."

As he said these things I started to realized that he was right and that I did love him, I loved Ky. He grabbed my wrist and pulled me towards him, it was so sudden that I couldn't expect it about to happen. My body hit his chest, his right hand wrapped around my waist to my back, his left hand grabbed my hand, caressing it.

He looked at me with so much love, so much wanting, longing.

"It hurt me when you didn't looked at me....I wanted your eyes on me, I wanted you next to me, I wanted you."

"Ky," I said passionately.

"Ever since the day I met you, I wanted you, I wanted all of you..."

His left hand let go of mine and I placed my hands on his chest. I could feel his rapid beating heart under my hands, it was running as fast as a cheeta. His hand came up to my face and he placed his hand on my cheek, his thumb started to stroke my lips. My lips parted open, his soft warm thumb stroked my lips, it send chills all through my body.

"Your smile, your laugh, your voice saying my name, your arms wrapped around me, your body, your lips, your eyes, I wanted it...I wanted all of it. I wanted you......I knew the day we first met that you would be mine."

He moved his face closer to mine, our noses were touching. I could feel his now heavy hot breath on my lips, I soon found my own becoming the same heaviness. His hand dropped from my face, it slid down my body and soon wrapped around my waist, I gave out a moan as he hand slid down my body. My hands clutched his shirt, I knew what he was going to do and I wanted him to do it.

He softly brushed his lips against mine, my eyes closed at the sudden feel of his lips. He gave out a small chuckle.

"And now you're mine." He said and he pressed his lips on mine, claiming me.

His lips sweetly touched mine, he brought me closer to his body. The kiss was sweet, gentle,soft. Then he removed his lips from mine and looked at me, I could see in his eyes that he wanted more. Wanted more of my kiss and this time he was planning to have more than just my lips. His eyes scanned my lips, pondering what he should do, I soon couldn't take it anymore...I licked my lips, inviting him, teasing him, tempting him. His eyes burned a bright red, my eyes burned their bright blue, we wanted each other, we wanted each other now!

He slammed his lips into me, slowly moving his lips, wanting to pry my mouth open. He pressed his lips harder, making the kiss deeper enabling him to pry my mouth open. His tongue crept into my mouth, tasting me and he soon found my tongue. It twisted and twirled with mine, I gave a out a moan, my hands slid up his chest, his breath hitched slightly before I wrapped my arms around his neck. His hands slid up and down my back, sending electricity, electricuting my whole body. My body was getting warm and this kiss was getting deadly, he released my lips and we gasped for air.

His arms were still wrapped around me as he placed his forehead on mine. My hands slowly slid down onto his chest, I could feel his rapid beating heart slowly calmed down. He closed his eyes as he inhaled my scent, then his eyes popped open and he gave out a menacing growl. I quickly moved away from him, he was looking at me with menacing eyes, I wrapped my arms around myself, I could feel my body go tense.

"W-what' s wrong?" I whimpered.

He looked at me, "It's Jason!" He snarled.

"J-Jason?" I asked trying to get a hold of myself.

"Yeah," he said walking over to me. He placed his hands gently on my hips and then he moved his mouth to my neck, brushing his lips on my skin. I flinched at his touch.

"His scent is all over you and it's making me sick!" He spatted into my neck.

I was still stiff and I shuttered at the words he spoke. He moved his lips from my neck and he looked at me, his face inches away from mine. His hands still layed on my hips, mine were wrapped around me, my body was completely tense. He looked at me, his menacing eyes soften and he looked at me sincerely.

"Relax, baby girl," he said bringing me closer to him, he placed his forehead on mine. My breath hitched and my hands layed on his chest.

"I could never hurt you," he whispered passionately. I inhaled his scent, letting my scent mark him and his marking me. Lavender, he smelled like lavender, but at the same time it smelt strong and powerful and......dangerous.

"I'll let him off the hook, he didn't know that you belonged to me. But if he or any other male touches you, I'm ripping their head off!" He barked.

"Ky-" I said snapping my head back to look at him. I was about to take a step away from him, but he kept his hands tight on me, enabling me from moving.

"You are mine, Serena Havenmoon, mine and mine alone. I have all the right to hurt or kill any male that comes near you. You out of anyone should know this.........I waited too long to have you, just to be taken away."

He was right, me out of anyone should know how possessive Alphas could be. I looked at him, his eyes were filled with so much passion, it was unbelievable that he was able to look at me that way. Then again, maybe his done it before...with out me noticing.

"I...I understand," I said and he smiled.

He grabbed my hand and started leading me back into the ballroom.

"Come on, my dad is about to give his annual speech and...I have an announcement for our pack. Something I've been waiting to tell them for a while now."

We left the balcony door open.

When we walked into the ballroom, Ky left me to go join his dad up on stage. I hid myself in the crowd that gathered around the stage, I could see Jason and the other betas from where I was standing, Rachel and her possy was standing only a few feet in front of me. Everyone went quite as Alpha Cain took the stage, I could see Ky and his mother standing at the back of the stage.

"Welcome friends, I am so glad that all of you could come to this annual party that we host each year," Alpha Cain said and everyone clapped.

As soon as the clapping died down, Alpha Cain continued.

"But this year is different than any other year..." He turned around halfway and looked at Ky.

"My son...Ky has finally came home from his two year training. Come up here son," Cain said gesturing Ky to come stand next to him. The crowd clapped as Ky went and stood next to his father. Cain placed his hand on Ky's shoulder.

"You go baby," Rachel yelled from the crowd, I growled.

"Ky, I can't tell you how much we are proud of you. Me and your mother are so proud and overjoyed, you are the future Alpha, the future leader of my pack. That you would finally get to fill in my shoes when I am gone and retired."

"Hold on dad, your not going anywhere yet," Ky said joking with his dad and everyone laughed.

"That's true, I still got work to do. But I just wanted you to know that I am proud of you and that I know that your going to make a great leader, Ky."

"Thanks dad," Ky said in response with a smile on his face.

"Alright everybody that's all-"

"Dad, actually I have an announcement...if you don't mind?" Ky gave his father a cocky smile.

"Of course not, my boy," Cain said with a smile, Ky took a step forward. He looked out on the crowd and his eyes found mine, he flashed a seductive smile at me. I could feel my cheeks get warm.

"I want you all to meet someone who is very important to me. We first met when we were young and ever since then we were inseparable. The moment I saw her...I knew I found the person I would spend eternity with, my mate."

I could hear whispers fall over the crowd, Ky jumped from off the stage. People soon started to get out of his way as he walked over to his mate.

"It's me...I knew it was going to be me. I was always his favorite," Rachel said as she saw Ky walking her way. I smirked as she watched Ky walk past her, leaving her dumbfounded. The closer Ky got to me, the whispers got louder, I could see the betas eyes looking across the room wondering who Ky's mate is going to be. I looked down at the marble floor.

As the whispers got louder and louder I could feel my self shaking, what...what are they going to say when they find out? 'It's her? how is it her?' or 'Your joking, right?' will they say things like that? I was never popular or liked very much in this pack, I was basically an outsider, one of the betas you don't want to mess with, they call me. People knew I was nice, unless they get on my bad side, which was basically no one.

I could hear my heart pounding as the nerves came over me. My left hand clutched my right arm, trying to hold myself together. Then all the whispers stopped, I looked up to see why, Ky was right in front of me, he looked at me with a sexy smile. My heart was pounding, he held his hand out to me. I...I slowly grabbed it, then, without knowing, he slowly twirled me around, showing me off to the pack. He soon stopped me and he pulled me into his arms, my hands layed on his chest, his hands intertwined behind me.

"I would like you all to meet, Serena Havenmoon, my mate and your Luna."

At first it was silent, then the room roared into claps and cheers of joy and congratulations. I looked up and everyone was smiling and cheering, I looked at Ky.

"I knew they would like you," he said.

"They barely even know me."

"Barely even know you? Serena, they know everything about you."

"How?"

"Let's just say that...they've been watching you for a while."

I couldn't help but laugh, I had been accepted. Not just by the Alpha family, but by the whole pack, I was no longer an outsider. Everyone was cheering and laughing, they were happy than We all hear this...

"Ha ha ha ha ha, your joking right, Ky? This is a prank right?" Rachel said.

Ky turned around and looked at her, letting go of me. The whole room fell silent. All eyes were on her and she loved the attention, Ky wasn't so flattered.

"Excuse me?" He said.

She took a step forward, "come on Ky, you can't honestly think that she can be your mate. I am so much better than her. And besides..."

She took a step closer to Ky, her bright green wolf eyes blazing through her human eyes. She intertwined her fingers around his neck.

"...we all know you love me," she said before slamming her lips into his.

My eyes widen as I watch Rachel kiss Ky. Ky didn't move he was frozen in place due to the shock. My body became warm and I was filled with anger, she's kissing him...she's kissing my mate! My jaw tightened, a growl escaped my lips and my eyes burned vibrant blue, my inner wolf was taking over. My body transformed into my white wolf, I could hear the gasp of people at the sudden transformation. I barked menacingly.

Rachel jumped and she looked at me, releasing Ky from her hold. I barked again and bared my teeth at her, she shuttered at the amount of power I had.

I took a step forward baring my teeth at her and growls escaped my mouth. She know I wasn't playing, I was ticked! I took a step forward, she took a step back, my growls became louder and louder as I moved forward. As I walked forward, she walked back, keeping her eyes on me, the people around me were all staring at her with shameful eyes. I wanted her to fight me, I wanted to bite her head off and I probably would of...if Ky hadn't stop me. Just when I was about to attack her, Ky stepped in between us, putting his hands up to stop me. Rachel hid behind Ky putting her hands on his shoulders, Ky didn't move, he didn't tell her to let go of him, he was protecting her.

"Serena, stop." He said in his Alpha voice, his eyes burning red. I stopped and took a step back and I stared at him.

He put his hands down and he glared at me, "Serena...change back."

"Ky what are-" I began to protest.

"I said 'change back'!" He roared.

I looked at him, my breath heavy with anger, "no."

"Serena...change back," his tone was stern and menacing.

I growled at him, "no!" I barked.

"Change back!"

I bared my teeth, "No! Why are you protecting her?! Can't you see that she is play-"

At that moment, Ky's fist punched my face, making my head whip to the side. Agonizing pain spread over my face, the pain made me want to whimper in hurt, but I swallowed my whimpers, not wanting him to hear my pain. Not wanting him to hear how weak I am, when I looked up, I saw the betas, all of them had complete worry and shock on their faces. Jason was horrified and it looked like he wanted to change and protect me. Ky has picked a side, to protect Rachel and......to punish me.

"I am your Alpha and you will do everything I tell you! You are a beta, your head stands no higher than mine and therefore you have no right to disobey!"

"So......is that what I am to you?" I said softly.

I looked at him with pain filled eyes and I could see it effective him.

"Just another beta you could control? Just another member of your pack?" I said and my voice began to rise.

"Serena-" Ky began.

"Alpha Cain, Luna Rebecca," I said as I looked over to them. There eyes were filled with worry, they knew that one of us were doing something wrong. If it was me changing or Ky protecting Rachel, we were both at fault.

"Congratulations, looks like your boy has found his Luna..."

I looked at Ky, I stared at him emotionless.

"......and......it's not me," I said finishing my sentence.

Ky's eyes grew wide with pain, I started to back away. I was going to run and never look back.

"Goodbye......Alpha Ky," I said and I turned around and ran.

"Serena!" He yelled, but I kept running.

I ran for the balcony, people moved out of my way, letting me go. They knew how distraught I was and I was glad for that. I bolted through the door we left open that lead to the balcony and I kept running until I came upon the balcony wall. My front paws pounced onto the balcony wall and I pushed off, I had jumped and I was free falling. It was like I was flying as I came closer and closer to the ground, the wind got faster and I could hear it in my ears. I landed, all my four paws feeling the soft green grass, then I kept running. I ran to the woods, finding refuge in the darkness of the night with the full moon guiding me, guiding me home.

Anyway...hope you all keep reading this book and I'm sorry for the long wait for the update. I just had soooooooooooooooooooooooooo much homework and work to do, you just can't believe it.
