When the one you love is in trouble...you must break all the rules to save them.

The wheels of my mind were turning as images of the white wolf popped back in my head. As her words echoed and vibrated in my ears with their metallic sound. I had taken her warnings to heart, but how am I suppose to use them when I don't have all the pieces. There were things that she has not yet told me, things that are vital to my well being. I'm afraid to know...the things I need to know.

"A great danger is about to befall you. People are looking for you and they won't stop till they have you."

Whose? Whose looking for me? What people want me and why? I'm nothing special, I'm not unique...right? Whose after me and...how close are they to finding me?

I growled.

You did not give me all the answers! You didn't even give me the information! White wolf how am I suppose to understand?! How am I suppose to avoid this danger when I didn't even have all the pieces? How am I...suppose to avoid this danger...when I don't even know the danger itself?

"Ask the one you call mother."

Mother? I need to ask my-

BANG! BANG!

Something pounded on the cabin door, the sound erupted through the room as I froze. Scanning the door with my eyes as I waited for the sound to erupt once more.

BANG! BANG!

My body tensed as the noise erupted again, walking over to it slowly as I hesitated to open the door. Who on earth could it be?

BANG! BANG!

It was at this point my nose had got a scent and my eyes widened. I reached for the door, lurching it open as I was shocked to see who was on the other side.

"Nancy?" I asked in a shocked whisper.

Her bright green eyes lit up once she saw me, she was hunched over, gasping for breath. Strands of her black hair traveled into her face as her shoulders were tense and stiff. It had looked like she had been running for a long time, looking for me. I could see her body was trembling with exhaustion, my heart was aching when I had saw this, but...I had to send her away. For I was exiled...and it was pack law if anyone talks to or tries to communicate to the exiled...they would be punished.

"Nancy, you...you shouldn't be here. You must go," I said turning away from the door. Leaving it wide open as I had walked away from it.

"No, I can't leave!" She demanding as she walked into the cabin. Her back straight as her body held determination.

"You don't understand! You must-"

"I know about your exile," she said and I froze. My body slowly turning so I could look her in the eyes.

"Then you should know-"

"That I will be punished if I speak to you."

I nodded, "very well then...what do you want?" I asked politely, my back standing straight as I looked into her vibrant green eyes.

"You need to come back Serena, you need to come back with me."

My eyes widen as my mouth fell agape. "I can't, I can't come back, not yet. My exile will be over in two days. In two days I will-"

"Ky doesn't have two days!" She shouted, her hands becoming fist at her sides. I could feel my throat strain as my chest become tight, my eyes holding a sad expression as my eyebrows knitted in concern. My breath became shallow, making it impossible to speak properly.

"W-what do you mean? W-what' s happened to Ky?!" I asked in a frantic.

She sighed painfully, "Ky fainted...during a meeting."

My body became stiff when Nancy said the word faint. "What?" My voice was no more than a hushed whisper.

"Every since you left Serena, Ky...hasn't been eating, he hasn't been sleeping. He's been tense and stressed ever since he exiled you. He was able to hide this from the other's...but not from me. There was always bags under his eyes, his lips were always in a frown as his eyebrows were knit in a scowl. When I went to hug him, I could tell he had lost weight and his muscles were so tense that they felt strained to the max. He's had so many meetings, so much paper work that the stress just piled on and on...until it finally took him done with it..."

She paused as I had to grab onto to the kitchen table. I could feel my heart aching as she told me these things, my eyes stung as my tears threatened to appear. My body was trembling as my jaw was tight, my teeth clenched as the did their best to hold back a sob. My Ky...my Alpha...what have you done to yourself?

"And from the looks of it..." she said grabbing my attention once more. Her sad eyes scanned me up and down, her breath hitching as her eyes watered.

"...It seems you haven't been sleeping either." She continued, "Serena, Ky might go into a comma unless we can get his stress reliever to him by tomorrow. Unless we can get you to him by tomorrow."

"And if I can't get to him by tomorrow...what happens?" I questioned painfully.

She looked down sorrowfully and said, "he will be in a comma for months."

My grip in the kitchen table tightened as I could feel my nails buring into the polish wood. Nancy snapped her eyes back up at me. Her eyes pleading, begging that I return with her as my eyes held nothing but pain and concern.

"Serena," her voice was shakey.

"Serena please, please come back. I need you, the pack needs you, Ky needs you! We need you to save Ky, your mate,your lover, your Alpha, we need you to save them! Please Serena save him please!"

She paused, her voice turning into a faint pleading whisper.

"Save Ky, Serena, save the one you can't live without."

"What's wrong with Ky!" One of the Alpha's from the meeting asked Alpha Cain as he entered the family room.

The Alphas from all the packs and the betas and their families were waiting in the family room. Waiting for the verdict on Ky's health and if he is going to be alright, if he was going to wake up ever again. Alpha Cain looked out onto the crowd of people, he's eyes scanning from the Alphas, to his former betas and to his son's betas. He sighed, for he knew that there was someone missing, someone very important, someone that could help the very existence of his son.

"Ky..." he started, his throat beginning to tense as he swallowed hard.

"Ky has been overworked and stressed to where he has no relief. He hasn't been eating or sleeping...his been running his body without any fuel and now...his body has finally shut down. Ky might enter into a comma. A comma that we are not sure when he will wake up."

The crowd gasp when they heard the word comma. Alpha Cain looked from the crowd to the ground, feeling his shoulders tense with pure anxiety. He didn't know what he would, what will happen if his son would go into a comma that he will take months from waking? What if Ky never wakes up? What will He do then? What will we all do then?

"Alpha Cain! Is there anything we can do?" Alpha Rick from the Solaris Pack questioned.

"Yes, anything at all?" Alpha Lorie from the Lunar Pack offered.

Alpha Cain looked up from the ground, breaking from his painful thoughts as he looked at the two young future Alphas. How ironic, one moment ago those two were arguing and now they finally joined forces to save his son. He's throat hitched as he nodded solemnly.

"There is one thing, we must bring Ky's stress reliver to him before the day after tomorrow."

"But that's-" Daren began.

"I know, that's his mate. That's Serena and she's-"

BAM!

The door swung open, cutting Alpha Cain's sentence short as all eyes snapped to the door. A familiar aroma entered their noses as the wind from outside blew it in, spreading it across the house. Nancy had joined Alice from behind, pretending that she was right next to her along. Everyone's eyes widened as the bottom of their mouths fell open, the scent filling their noses with hope and glee as it filled the other pack's Alphas with confusion. For the Alphas didn't know...they didn't know that this was her howling return.

That it was my howling return.

My eyes turned their vibrant blue as the Alphas used their Alpha vision to look into my mind, to look at my wolf. This process was called Morality, only Alphas had this gift, the gift to look into one's soul and from the looks on their faces. I could tell that the male Alphas were impressed while the female Alphas were jealous of what they saw. I closed the door behind me, my reddish brown hair framing my body beautifully as I walked pass betas, my family, Alphas, stopping once I was in front Alpha Cain. Alpha Cain looked upon me with emotionless and stunned eyes, I casted my eyes down, bowing at my waist before him.

"Forgive me Alpha Cain, I know my exile has not been lifted. I know it's against Pack law to return until my exile has been completed, but I was informed that my Alpha...my mate has fainted into a comma."

Only the Alphas gasped and whispered to each other once I said the words my mate.

"It's because of this information that I am standing in front of you right now. I know that I, Serena Havenmoon, am the only one who can save him. For I...am his stress reliever, I'm the one who let's him sleep calmly at night, who makes sure that he's fed and not overworked himself. And I had failed at this duty, please forgive me Alpha Cain."

"Serena," Alpha Cain whispered softly in shock and concern.

"Let me save my mate, let me take care of this Pack's future Alpha. Let me save our pack's future Alpha and once this deed is done. In the absence of my Alpha...I allow you, Alpha Cain, to pick my punishment for breaking the rules of my exile."

It was silent as I remained bowed at the waist. My head looking at the floor as my hair cascaded into my vision, falling from my shoulders. I could feel everyone's eyes on me as I remained still, the air in the room stiff as it bared down on my shoulders.

"Serena, stand up," Alpha Cain addressed softly and I did what I was told. Our eyes connected to one another as his lips cracked into a small smile. His eyes glistening with the emotion of being impressed, relief, and proudness. He placed his hands on my shoulders, holding me securely with support that a father would give.

"Serena, our sweet Serena," he cooed as I could see tears about to fall onto his cheeks.

"You have broken the rules to save the one you love, to save the one you cherish the most. Despite knowing the fact that you, yourself would be punished for it. In absence of your Alpha I, Alpha Cain, here by lift you from your exile. There will be no further punishment."

I smiled as Alpha Cain did the same, his hands falling from my shoulders as he looked at me with pride.

"Now...go save your Alpha," he said nudging his head to the side slightly. I nodded about to walk pass Alpha Cain and down the hall when I heard...

"WAIT!"

I turned around as I now stood next to Alpha Cain. It was Rachel who spoke, her face showed a solemn expression as she walked up to me, her eyes blazing with determination. She stood in front of me, her dark brown curly hair stopping at her shoulders as her bright blue eyes peered into my light brown ones. She was as tall as I am, maybe a little shorter, something that I haven't notice before.

"Serena, even though I do not approve of you and Ky, there is something I must do." She spoke.

"Rachel! Is this really the time to start a fight!" Daren yelled from behind her.

"Shut up Daren! This needs to be said!" She snapped at him before turning back to look at me.

"Me and you have never been on good terms, but you and my brother are as close as siblings. You had saved my father and my brother single handedly, if it weren't for you...they wouldn't be alive til this very day. You had helped this pack more than you know, more than I even know, I remembered...you even helped me when we were mere pups. I remember that day Serena, the day when we met and I haven't forgotten it. I...I was wrong to be mean to you...I was wrong to call you a bitch...I...I was wrong to wish you were never born. I was wrong. Serena...I couldn't chosen anyone more perfect for Ky. I'm glad I've finally acknowledged that and now..."

Rachel paused before she slowly kneeled down before me. Her head bowed in honor as she was now looking at the floor, it was a kneel that only a loyal servant will give to it's master.

"...I am glad that you...will be my future Luna. I...we will protect with our very lives."

My eyes widened as I looked up from Rachel and at the crowd. The Betas and their families, the rest of the pack were all kneeling down before me as they did not dare to look upon me. I looked to my left and I am astonished that Alpha Cain has kneeled down before me as well.

"Now..." Rachel says breaking my concentration from the pack to her.

"GO SAVE OUR ALPHA!" They all say at once, as their voices fills my ears with joy and belonging.

"I won't let you down!" I declared as I turned to walk down the hall. As I walked to the room where my lover was vast asleep.

Don't worry Ky, I'm coming!

The door creaked as I opened it ever so carefully. There was a dim light that illuminated from the room. A lamp that was resting on the small desk he head in the room, it's pale yellow light barely painting the walls, unable to reach the corners of the room were the darkness lys. My eyes had soon fallen upon a sleeping Ky and...I could feel my heart silently breaking.

His lips turned in a frown, his eyebrows furrowed as his face was crinkled from stress. His muscles were tense and taunt as he stirred in his sleep. He was restless as he muttered words in his sleep, his muscles were tensed and alert, ready to fight if needed. I rushed over to him as he continued to stir. I sat on the bed as I hold his face in my hands, the minute my hands touched his skin, his endless stirring and muttering stopped.

"Shhh," I hushed softly as I placed my forehead against his. He sighed sleepingily, his lips parting as he exhaled with ease.

"Shhh," I hushed again, allowing my hands to slowly slide down his face, to his neck, down his chest, and up his arms. My fingers slowly gliding across his skin making his muscles relax and unclench as I can see him relax with ease. I stroked my lips down his jaw line making him sigh with relief. I looked up at his face, he face now looked relax and peaceful as his body was limp from work. I sighed with relief of my own, I...I have saved him in time, he was going to be alright.

He was going to be alright.

I smiled as I scanned my lover's peaceful face. Oh...how much I miss you? You have no idea how badly I wanted to see you again, how badly I wanted hold, to kiss you, to tell how much I love you. I love you Ky, I love you so much.

"Get some sleep," I whispered softly in his ear before I kissed his cheek. Letting my lips linger on his soft skin that I had missed so much.

"I love you Ky," I whispered before I stood up.

I was about to walk out of the room to let Ky rest when I was suddenly pulled back by a strong force. I don't know what exactly happened, all I know that it was quick and I was pulled back onto the bed. The back of my head landed on a pillow while the rest of my body was submerged into the bed cushion. I look up and saw that Ky's body was hovering over mine, his arms pinning me down on the bed as the white blanket was still draped over his shoulder. As the blanket now covered both our bodies.

Hello my pups and werewolves. It is indeed another chapter of Possesive Hearts and what's this...Rachel now respects Serena! What in the world is going on! Why the change of heart!? Now those are excellent questions that you will have to wait to find out.

Now remember when I said that I friend of mine and me were going to combine "Possessive Hearts" with her book "Wild N' Free"? Turns out her profile got deleted for some reason and she has to START ALL OVER! So all her books were lost and she had to create a new Profile! That Sucks! Wattpad, what are you doing? I think we might need a better security system? Or a way to get our profiles back if they get deleted or hacked in some way? Anyway, me and my friend are still going to do the combine book idea. But she's going to change the title and change some things, so I'll tell you the title when it's update so you can read Nancy's and her sister's story. Cause you know I'll defiantly be reading it!
