The night is quite, lifeless. I stare up at the cabin ceiling as the idea of sleep doesn't set in my mind. I can't sleep, the bed feels so cold without you in it. The days grown longer each minute I can't see you, I'm sleeping less. The first day of my exile and I can't sleep, it'll probably be like this all week. The bed is cold as I reach for warmth, as I reach for you, but my hand comes up empty and that's when I remember you aren't here. I sigh.

Ky.

What are you doing right now?

* Ky's P.O.V *

12:00 a.m.

The sound of my pen scribbling on the papers is the only thing I hear. I'm tired and yet I'm restless, a stack of pack papers lay out in front of me. I have to read each page and sign every signature, I've been having more and more meetings now. Instead of having 1 to 4 meetings each day, I'm now having 1 to 15 meetings each day, each an hour or more. The packs have become frantic, their wondering what they'll do if there really is an intruder in our mix. The Alpha's are wondering what to do, wondering if we should confront or wait for them to make the first move.

I lean back in my chair, throwing my pen against the desk as it roles across the papers. I sigh, letting my eyes close as they burn against my eyelids from sleeplessness. I'm not eating, I'm not sleeping, my days are filled with so much...that I can't relax. I can't find the thing to ease myself as my mind continues to work and my body goes limp.

Serena.

Where are you when I need you. I was a fool, I was stupid...I shouldn't of punished you. But when I learned that my father send you out and patrol and when I was informed that you had came back covered in blood...I feared the worst. I was afraid that you were hurt...that you had been wounded and that worst part was that I wasn't there to protect you. I would of blamed myself if you got hurt, heck...I would of died if you got hurt and I wasn't there to save you. Serena...my Serena, I would of died if you were killed. That's why I had to punish you, I had to teach you a lesson to make sure you wouldn't do it again. So I exiled you as punishment...a punishment that would also be punishment for myself.

Knock, knock.

My eyes shot open as they snapped at the door. Did I just hear a knock? But I couldn't of had, who would be up at this hour? I paused as I listened for a moment or two......silence. My ears must be playing tricks on me-

Knock, Knock.

For a moment I froze, there was a knock at the door.

"Come in," I said in a calm tone.

The door slowly opened and my eyes widened as she walked in.

"Hello Ky," she cooed as she closed the door behind her.

"Hello...Rachel," I said in a stern tone.

Her red painted lips pricked up into a smile, her dark blue eyes gleaming seductively. Her hair draped her shoulders as her brown curls were twisted and playful. She wore the shortest, tightest jean shorts I've ever seen as she wore the tightest black shirt that made her breast pop out. My eyes narrowed as I felt disgusted at the way she was dressed, my arms crossing as she scanned me up and down.

"Rachel, what could I do for you?" I asked in a calm stern tone.

The pure smile of the Cheshire cat was painted on her face. She walked over to my desk swaying her hips seductively, trying to turn me on. I snarled in frustration as she continued to walk, stopping in front of my desk.

"There are many things you can do for me Ky, the question is..." she paused as she placed her hands on the desk. Her sharpened, red painted nails gleaming in the light as she scanned my body with her hungry eyes.

"...which one do you want to do first?" She purred.

I sighed, standing up as her eyes followed my action. Her eyes trailing down my body as she straightened up to see me eye to eye.

"What do you want Rachel?" I snarled, folding my arms once more.

"Oh, you know what I want," she bit her bottom lip. "I want my Alpha back."

I cringed when she said "my Alpha". My eyes narrowed as my jaw tightened, my shoulders becoming tense as I looked down at her.

"I was never your Alpha."

She was shocked at my words as she flinched, taking a step back. I walked around the desk, my eyes blazing a fiery red. I was now standing in front of her as the desk no longer laid between us.

"I am not your Alpha, I am no one's Alpha except Serena's. She is mine and I...am her's."

"No! You...you were MINE! She stole you away from me, she stole you!"

"I WAS NEVER YOUR'S IN THE FIRST PLACE!" I yelled and she bowed her head.

"But we had something," she snarled.

"There was nothing between us! I had never kissed you, so how dare you say we had something. You were the one who always wanted to be around me, not the other way around."

"But-"

"But nothing!" She flinched as she growled menacingly.

"Listen to me," I barked and she nodded, her growling subsiding.

"There was nothing between us, there will be nothing between us! I don't love you, you understand. I love Serena, I don't love you."

She stayed silent as she continued to look down. I looked away from her, grunting as I looked at the door angrily.

"Get out of here and leave me in peace." I barked. At first there was no response but after a moment or two she had gain up her confidence once more.

"It's because of that bitch," she muttered under her breath and I snapped my head at her.

"Excuse me?" I asked menacingly.

"It's because of that bitch that you aren't mine! Because of that bitch you don't love me! I WISH SHE WAS NEVER BORN!"

SMACK!

She was now looking to the right, her cheek turning red. My hand stinged, but I bet her cheek stinged even more. She stood there silent now, stung that I had just slapped her, My eyes narrowed, my hand falling to my side once more.

"You...will treat her with respect." I growled in a deep tone.

"I-"

"She is your future Luna and she deserves respect. She has done many things to protect this pack and to keep it safe. Don't forget she saved your father and your brother single handedly, the least you can do is give her your respect. Now get out of here!"

Rachel bowed quickly as she turned, walking furiously to the door. Her head looking at the ground as she fast walked to the door. Placing her hand on the door knob, ready to rip it open when-

"Rachel," I said and she stopped, freezing in her tracks.

"If Serena was never born...your brother and father would be dead. Remember that."

And with those last few words, she walked out the door. Leaving me in silent peace, just like how I asked her to.

* 4:00 *

"Good, we'll meet again at 5:00." I said with a tired smile.

The Alpha's and their Betas stood up from the long wooden table. Pushing their chairs back under the table as they all disperse our of the meeting room. I stood up, collecting all my papers as I shuffled them into a nice neat pile.

"Hey Ky, how have you been?" Alpha Drake asked. I looked at him, my hand still shuffling the papers.

"I'm doing fine. How about you?"

"Good but..." he paused. I looked at him, placing my papers back on the table in a neat pile.

"...I'm sorry that we have to intrude on you about this. We've been having so many meetings at your house and I bet your exhausted. If you wouldn't mind, we could have the meetings at my house and allow you to get some rest."

"Thanks for the offer Drake, but I'm fine really. We don't need to do that-"

"Ky, you're pale. There's bags under your eyes and it looks like you haven't eaten in days."

I looked down at the table, my face blank as I knew Drake spoke the truth. He placed his hand on my shoulder, making me look at him as my blank expression met his concern one.

"Ky...you need to take care of yourself. I know Serena's not here right now, but do you really think she would like seeing you do this to yourself! No, she would hate seeing you like this the minute she saw you!"

My blank expression became an irritated and a stern one. Drake's hand fell from my shoulder as he realized he chose the wrong words to say.

"Ky, look, I didn't mean to-"

"It's alright," I said cutting him off.

"I'm going to get some air, I'll see you again at 5."

I walked out the door at that moment, not giving Drake the chance to utter another word. I walked down the hall, walking pass my pack members as they bowed in my presence. I walked pass future Alphas and their Betas, giving me a smile before they bowed as well. I walked to the door that lead outside, taking the handle in my hand as I pulled the glass door to the left. Walking through it as the nice cool breeze hit my face, I turned around, closing the glass door behind me as-

"Ky!" Nancy screamed with joy. I turned around as she ran up and hugged me. I smiled, patting her head with my hand as she hugged me tightly.

"Hello Nancy," I said softly.

"Did you come to play?" She asked as she looked up at me, a gleam in her eyes.

I chuckled, "I actually came out here to get some air."

"Oh," she said disappointed as she looked down. A ping of guilt went through me as I looked down at her.

"Hey," I paused messing up her hair with my hand, making a smile spring up on her face.

"I might have time to play later, alright? so don't be so down," I told her smiling.

"Okay!" She said in a cute voice.

"Good, now...go play with Alice." I told her and she ran off playing with Alice once more.

I saw Sakura and Daren sitting on a blanket in the shade. I walked over to them, the wind blowing my hair to the left slightly. Daren was standing on the side of the blanket closest to me as Sakura sat in the middle of it. I took a place next to him, shoving my hands in my pockets as we all watched Nancy and Alice play together.

"Ky, haven't seen you a while," Daren said as he continued to watch Nancy and Alice play.

"Yes, well I have a break now...so why not use it?"

"Exactly."

There was a short pause as we continue to watch Nancy play. Watching how much her and Alice had fun together but I know deep down that she was missing Serena the most.

"How is she getting along?" I asked Daren.

"Fine, great actually. But she keeps asking when Serena will come back."

"What do you tell her?"

"That she has some important stuff to do and will be back next week."

"You didn't tell her I punished Serena?"

"No," he spoke bluntly.

"Why not?"

"Cause we all miss Serena and we all know you regret punishing her."

I nodded as the thought of Serena flashed in my mind. Serena...God how I miss you, how we all miss you, but I miss you the most because I need you the most. I can't relax when you're not here, I can't sleep, I don't eat, I'm stressed out as Hell! How the Hell am I going to get through this?!

"Oh, Daren by the way..."

"What is it?" He asked curious, his eyes turning to look at me as his head remained straight.

"Your sister visited me last night," I spoke in a stern tone.

"Rachel?"

"Yep."

"What did she want?"

"What do you think, me to make love to her."

Daren's face became hard and cold like a statue, his eyes turning back to the open space where Nancy and Alice played. His jaw was clenched as his arms laid stiff at his sides, he looked liked a mad bull dog ready to attack.

"I'll have a talk with her." Daren spoke in a menacing tone.

"You don't have to, I already did."

"I'm having one with her."

"Why?"

"Cause she needs to learn her place!" He growled and I flinched from his sudden outburst.

"Daren-"

"No Ky, she needs to learn to respect and honor Serena. She needs to learn that Serena is going to be her Luna and she needs to learn and thrive in that fact. Serena is special to all of us, she's all helped us somehow. Serena helped Sakura not to be so afraid of people and join the group, she helped Alice get through her break up with her last boyfriend who cheated on her. She took Jason out of his depression and she saved me and my father from being killed! She's helped us all in more ways the one and she's helped you the most."

I was stunned at his choice of words, but the fact was everything he said was true. I remember all the times when Serena helped Jason, Sakura, Alice, Daren, me. And now she's helped another...Nancy. She saved Nancy out of the Hell hole known as her family, she saved her from torture, from death! She's helped us all in some way, it's funny you know, it's funny how one girl can touch so many lives in one time.

"Serena saved me and my father and yet..." Daren spoke, breaking my train of thought.

"...my sister...treats her like shit! It's time she learns her lesson."

* Serena's P.O.V *

I was exiled to the brown log cabin in the forest, the trees were a bright green as the sun peaked through them. It was already my second day in exile and I had nothing. To. Do. I was going to die of boredom if I don't find something to do. I can't take a nap because I can't freaking sleep, I've already eaten, I literally had nothing to do. I was so bored and if I started thinking of Ky I might had the urge to text him.

I looked down at me phone as it laid in my hand. Staring at it for a moment as I contemplated, turning it on as the bottom of the screen said "slide to unlock". I stared at those letters, watched how the white highlight danced across them. Those letters, those words, were tempting me, urging me to unlock my phone and text Ky's number. Tempting me to break the rules of exile and be able to contact my mate. I stared at that screen for a very, very long time and I allow my pointer finger to touch the bottom of the screen. My finger ready to slide to the right and unlock my phone.

Yeeeeeaaaaah, no!

I turned my phone off quickly, flipping it over as I placed it on the table in front of me. Phone you lost, again, okay I must be getting really bored cause now I'm talking to inanimate objects. I sat on the edge of the couch, my hands rubbing my legs in boredom as my left foot tapped the wooden floor. No wonder this is punishment, you get so fucking bored! And you can't even talk to anyone you know and-

Brrrrrrring

Just then my phone went off and I froze. Everything fell silent as I sat there motionless, my hands still on my knees as my phone continue to go off.

Brrrrrrring Brrrrrrring Brrrrrrring Brrrrrrring

I picked it up as I looked at the number on the screen.

I didn't recognize this number, I had never seen this number. I don't know why I pushed "Answer", I could of pushed "Decline" but instead my instincts told me to push "Answer" and I listened to them. I slowly placed the phone up to my ear, curious and yet afraid on who it could be on the other line.

"Hello," I spoke into it. I waited for a response.

It was complete utter silence. My heart was pounding, maybe I had answered the phone too late? But it was still ringing when I picked it up.

"Hello?" I said again, this time more afraid.

No response just silence. Then...

My eyes widened. They...they just hung up on me. There was someone on the line, I looked at my phone, but why didn't they-

Brrrrrrring Brrrrrrring Brrrrrrring Brrrrrrring

I froze as I slowly looked down at my phone, my heart began to pound out of my chest as fear overcame my body.

I slowly answered it, bringing the phone up to my ear.

"H-Hello?"
