I remember the first day I met Ky.

Me and my family just came to the Alpha house for the very first time. Back then Luna Rachel had short black hair like my mother. I was 5 and my mother wasn't yet pregnant with my baby brother, Robert. I was hiding behind my mother and father as they spoke of business between the Alpha pair. I was scared, timid, afraid, I was only 5 and I was about to join a pack that I didn't know anyone or nothing about. My eyes scanned the yard and I could smell the scent of pups my age playing in the space between the woods and the back of the house. I could hear the voices filled with laughter and joy, I envied that happiness. As I listened on as the pups play, I guess the Luna was watching my eagerness, she cleared her throat and I caught her spying.

I ducked back behind my mother as quick as I could. The Luna smiled at me, she knelt down in front of me so she could see me eye to eye. I wanted to hide back behind my mother, but something about this Luna made me curious, the look in her eyes were kind and soft. Bringing up my curiosity. I crept out from my mother and a slowly stood in front of the Luna, father and mother were still talking to the Alpha, not noticing me or the Luna. The Luna, gave me a smile as I stood in front of her.

"That's better, now I can see your beautiful face," she said in a voice that was soft like silk.

My ears perked up at the sudden comment and she saw the change in my "enthusiasm".

"What is you name dear?"

"S-Serena," I said barely able to get my own name out of my mouth.

"Serena," she said testing my name with her voice. "What a beautiful name," she said with a gleam in her eye. Just then the laughter of the children caught my ear again and I look towards the side of the house where wood laid, I didn't see any children but I heard them and I sensed them. I saw the Luna follow my gaze to the area to the pack of the house she looked at me and gave me a smile.

"Serena..." My head snapped back to her, following her voice.

"Why don't you go play with the other children?" She said while gesturing her head toward the sound of children.

"If it's okay with your mother that is?" The Luna said looking up to my mother, who I didn't notice she was looking down at us with a smile on her face.

"I don't see why not? It would give her a chance to fit in and I can sense were going to be here a while."

"Very well then, just head around the house and......well......just follow the sound of children."

The Luna said as she began to stand up. When she was done talking a nodded my head and I began to walk off, but I was stopped when she said, "Serena..." I looked at her waiting for what she was going to advice.

"I think you should change into your wolf form, we learned it's much more easier for the pups in the pack to meet that way. Also by the amount of fun their having......I can tell that their "rough housing"."

Rough housing means that their have a competition to see who is the strongest, with their wolves. I'm up for a challenge, hey...I might be shy and timid but I'm not afraid to fight, my father use to be a Beta in our former pack for heaven sakes, his blood runs through me. He might be a Beta in this pack as well. I gave her a reassuring nod and she smiled, I walked away from my mother and father and into the woods that were right next to the house.

Once I was hidden in the woods, I changed into my white wolf. I could feel my power flow through me as I trade my human form for my wolf. As my bones changed, my teeth becoming daggers, my nose turning into a muzzle, my ears being heightened and sharpened into a point, my skin into white fur, hands for paws, a tail and my brown eyes for blue. My ears picked up the sound of growls, paws, and wolf bodies being thrown to the ground. I ran to the sounds, following the edge of the forest, using the pushes as coverage not wanting to be seen or smelled. I ran through the forest jumping over rocks and old logs that fell there and that's when I saw them. I walked until I was right in front of them, hiding in the bushes, observing who they were without being seen.

The whole back yard was filled with wolf pups, almost all of them fighting off in pairs. Bystanders cheered for their friends and when it was their turn their friends did the same. There would pups of different genders, sizes, colors, but no matter what they looked like they all look strong and beautiful. That's when one wolf caught my eye, a pup that didn't look like the others. He stood out of the others, his black polished fear, they way he stood. The way he looked at the other pups, the way the other pups treated him, the moment I saw him I just knew.........I just knew he was different. And a feeling rose inside of me, a feeling I could not place, but this feeling was strong and powerful, a feeling that would be undying.

The wind blew furiously and I think the black wolf boy caught my scent as he titled his muzzle up breathing in the air. The who looked over in my direction and I sucked in the bushes with great speed. I hope he didn't see me, I thought as hid in the bushes trying to be the quietest I could be. Moments passed and I didn't hear anyone coming, so I thought I was safe, thinking that he didn't see me. I was about to crept away back to my parents when someone said......

"So, I'm guessing your the newcomer?" I froze, hoping that the owner of the voice would go away.

"Will you come out? I won't hurt you, I promise," the voice was soft like silk and I don't know why but the voice had a sudden calming affect on me, wanting me to show myself. I slowly straighten up peering my head over the bushes and there standing on the other side of the bushes was the black boy wolf I saw before. But this time he was close enough so I could see his eyes and when I saw the color of them my heart stopped. Red, the boy's eyes were bright red, only eyes that Alpha' s could have, I was standing right in front of the Alpha' s child. The next leader of this pack, the leader of my generation.

"Ah, now I can see you......sort of. Are you the new comer?" He asked again peeking his ears up in interest.

"Y-yes," I said barely getting the words out if my mouth.

"Can you come out here, so I can see you?" He asked his voice filled with softness.

"W-wouldn't it just be better if I just stay behind here?" I ask my heart fluttering at a million miles.

"Come on, to be so coy, come out. Unless your scared?"

"I'm not scared!" I protested.

"Then come out," he said tilting his head to the side. I hesitated, I took in a deep breath and sighed, giving in to his wish. I slowly crept out of the bushes, the leaves rustling as I pushed through them. I was met by a smile That had crept on the boys face, but I kept my head and tail low to the ground, I flattened my ears to the back of my head. The boy scanned on how I was standing and his face shown an hint of annoyance and sadness on his face.

"Why are you.........standing like that?"

"Aren't you the Alpha' s son?" I asked.

"Yes," he said his head up straight and tall.

"Well, I'm approaching an.........Alpha...like I was always taught. Showing you that I'm not a threat."

He gave me a half smile and I thought his eyes flickered I brighter shade of red.

"What is your name?" He asked softly.

"Serena......Serena Havenmoon."

His smile got wider and his eyes softened, "Serena," he said passionately. "I like that name.........Serena."

"And you are?" I asked my ears perking up with curiosity.

"I'll tell you......but only if you straighten up first. For some reason seeing you standing in that position bothers me."

"Does it bother you when the other wolves greet you this way as well?" I asked as I straighten my body up like he asked me to.

"No, just you," he said as he shook his hand.

"Oh," I said not sure if I should be offended or not.

"The names Ky.........Ky Severs."

"Ky...I like that name," I said and we both laugh.

That's how I met the Alpha boy with black fur with the most beautiful and frightful red eyes I had ever seen.

* End of Memory *

We pulled up in the parking lot in front of the Bloody Moon. The sun was going down as the sound of pounding music roared from the club. We hopped out of the car, my eyes scanning how few of cars were in the parking lot. I shut the door behind me and walked up to Ky who was in front if the car looking at me.

"There's not alot of cars here."

"That's because the wolves haven't come out to play," he said intertwining his fingers with mine.

"That's not funny," I said with laughter in my voice.

"Shut up," he said with a smile on his face.

I laughed feeling my cheeks get warm. Then the next thing I knew......Ky's soft lips were on my cheek, blood rushed up to my cheeks painting them a bright shade of red. My eyes fluttered close at the pleasure that went through my body at his sudden kiss. Then my eyes popped back open when I couldn't feel his soft warm lips on my cheek.

"What was that for?" I asked looking at him.

He gave me a smile, "What? I can't kiss you when I want to?" His hand tighten around mine, pulling closer to his side.

"No, I was just wondering if there was a reason for your sudden action of affection."

"Nope," he said and we began to walk to the door of the Bloody Moon. The guard that was standing at the door knew us and he let us right in. What......werewolf clubs got to have guards or a bloody human would walk right in and we don't want that. Once we got in, surprisingly people were on the dance floor dancing to some song by Skillet. Men and Women were sitting at the bar that was against the far side wall, the bar tender behind the bar fulfilling everyone's need for beer. On the other side of the room were booths were people could sit and eat, dividing the two sections was the dance floor that were filled with either drunk or sober teen wolves. Ky tighten his hand on mine again as he led me to the booth we usually sit at before he left for training.

I sat down in front of him as he sat on the other side of the table, his hand releasing mine. The moment we sat down a waitress came to our table, she had on a black shirt and jeans, her long black hair tied back into a pony tail. She had a waitress apron the one with pockets to hold all their stuff, in her hands she held a pen and a check book to with a piece of paper on top of it.

"What can I get you two," she asked, a soft warm smile spreading on her face.

"I'll have a coke," Ky said looking at the waitress.

"Alright...and you?" She asked looking at me.

"Dr.Pepper"

She nodded as she looked down at the paper, the end of her pen moving in the air as she wrote. The she looked up at us ready to take the rest of our order.

"Anything else?"

"A large supreme pizza to split between the two of us," Ky said answering her question.

"Is that it?"

"Yep."

"Alright......I'll get that right out to you," she said with a smile on her face and she walked away with the order in her hand. That's when I looked at Ky and gave him a cocky grin.

"What?" He said meeting me with a cocky grin of his own.

"No beer," I asked my elbows resting on the table.

"Serena...what do you take me for......an alcoholic?"

"Hmm......a little bit."

"Is that what you take me for?" He said with sarcasm in his voice.

"Yep."

"I see how it is," He said crossing his arms in front of him. I stuck my tongue out at him, he gave me a smile and just shook his head.

"Here you guys are," The waitress said placing are drinks on the table besides us.

"Thank you," we both said in unison and she left. Leaving us back to our conversation, I took a sip of my soda. The fizzy, pop, liquid pouring into my mouth and down my throat clenching my thirst. I placed my glass on the table as I watch Ky drink his coke, his throat moving as he swallowed the sweet soda. As he placed it back down on the table, he licked his lips, getting all the soda off, I had to look away before he caught me staring at his soft lips. Then I thought of something......something I should have asked him from the start. I looked at him and his eyes met mine, catching my eyes and my heart.

"Ky......can I ask you something?"

"Sure, I don't see why not," he said shrugging his shoulders, his hand unwrapping itself from his glass.

I bit my lower lip as nervousness over came me. Ky saw my nervousness and his eyes became agitated as he scan my face, worry overcoming his face.

"Serena...what's wrong?" He said his voice on the edge of concern.

I swallowed, "I was just wondering..." I shook my head, "never mind......it's a stupid question." I said trying to back out from telling him what I was thinking or what I wanted to know.

"Serena...tell me," his voice became tense and sharp. I bit my lip again, using my eyes trying to make him change his mind. He didn't waver, his mind was set and he was going to give up until he heard what I had to say. I sighed...he was always that stubborn even when he was a child.

"I was just wondering......why me? Why did you choose me?"

His arms fell to his sides, "Serena-"

"I mean......I know I was chosen to be your mate. But you can reject your mate if you want to and you can go your separate ways an-"

"Serena, what are you saying?!"

"I'm saying......why did you choose me when you could reject me?"

He sighed and he scratched his head, "now your making me wish I had gotten a beer."

"Don't try to change the subject," I snapped at him.

"I'm not trying to," he snapped back at me. He sighed and he placed his elbows on the table, his face close to mine, his golden eyes holding my brown ones.

"Are you not happy with me?" He asked his voice laced with pain.

"Ky, I'm more than just "happy" to be with you."

"Then, why are you asking me these silly questions?"

"Because, you could of had anyone, Rachel...anyone. You could've of had anyone in the pack. Any pretty and innocent girl you wanted and she would gladly be yours and yet......you chose me. Why?"

"Because, I didn't want any innocent, pretty girl......I wanted you."

"But why?"

"Because I love you, isn't that a good reason to want you. To have you as my mate."

My heart skipped a beat when he said the words "I love you," he had never said that to me before and this was the first time ever.

"Ky-" I began to say but was interrupted by the waitress who just sat the pizza down on the table in front of us along with two small plates for me and Ky. We ate the pizza in silence as the pieces soon began to disappear one by one. What was actually 20 minutes seem like an eternity as we sat there in silence munching down on our pizza. When we finished the waitress came and picked up the dirty plates and she left the check on the table. Ky was about to pick the check up when I placed my hand on top of his, he stopped and looked at me.

"I'm paying."

He gave me a smile, "how you didn't bring money?"

"That's where your wrong, I have my wallet right here in my back pocket."

"Even if you did have your money, I wouldn't let you pay anyway."

"At least let me pay for making you answer my stupid question."

His eyebrows came together in concern, "Serena..."

"I'm sorry Ky, I shouldn't have asked you that question. I shouldn't even thought of it in the first place. I guess I was just being an insecure teenager girl, you shouldn't have to prove or tell me why you chose me. When I already know the answer, so please let me pay."

He hesitated, stunned on what I had just told him. Then he slowly let go of the check letting me take it over to my side of the table. Ky just sat there on the other side of the table watching me as I took my wallet out of my back pocket. I pulled out a $20 dollar bill and placed it in the check book along with the check, the bill was actually $17 dollars but I'm giving the three extra dollars to our waitress. She took care of us really well, she came over to the table and picked the check book up and then she asked me...

"Do you need change?"

"Nope, the rest is your's," I said pointing to the check book that was now in her hand.

She smiled, "Thank you, have a good night."

"Thank you," I said and she walked away with a little more pip in her step.

I looked at Ky and saw how he still looked frozen. He sat there in a daze, I tilted my head to the side wondering if he would notice my movement, nothing. I started to wave my hand in front of him, nothing, he didn't move, flinch, blink, he did nothing.

"Ky," I said and I finally caught his attention.

He looked up at me his eyes meeting mine. His lips curled up into a soft smile, my heart fluttered at his beautiful and radiant smile. I was leaning on the table, my elbows on the table with my arms folded over each other, Ky leaned on the table in front of me, his arms touching mine. His eyes were locked on mine, trapping me in their passionate gaze. Ky leaned his face closer to mine, his warm forehead resting on my own, our bangs mixing with each others. His hand slowly came up and caressed my cheek, I exhaled at his soft warm touch. My heart began to pound and my eyes closed as his addictive sweet lips slowly brushed against mine, his hot breath making my lips tingle.

"Have I ever told you how much I loved you?" He said seductively on my lips.

"Yes," I said meeting his seductive tone.

"Now times it be infinity, that's how much I love you now."

His words warmed my insides, those were the sweetest words I have ever heard in my life. Ky pressed his lips against mine gently, their sweet tangy taste making me want to lose control and I'm sure he wanted to as well. But he just pressed his lips against mine gently, not wanted to lose control in a room filled of werewolves. The kiss was sweet and soft, but it still made my heart pound. He pulled away, a smile forming on his face, then his eyes flickered as an idea popped into his head, he leaned back in his seat with a cocky grin on his face.

"What?" I said giving him a look.

"I have an idea."

"What is it?"

"You'll find out, stay here," he said as he got out of the booth and began to walk away.

"Ky, where are you going?" I yelled after him.

"You'll find out," he yelled back as he disappeared into the club.

Moments passed and my eyes were scanning the club for Ky. Then he suddenly popped out of no where scaring the crap out of me.

"Don't do that," I said as he looked down at me.

"Did I scare you?"

"Yes."

He chuckled, "Where did you go," I asked.

He gave me a smile and he grabbed my hand pulling me to stand by him. "Come on," he said as he pulled me to the dance floor.

"Ky, what are you doing?"

"You'll see," he said.

He pulled me to the dance floor pulling me through people all the way to the middle of the dance floor. He turned around and looked at me, I looked up at him and gave him a look, his hand still holding mine.

"You still haven't told me what you're doing yet?"

He placed his hands on my waist and he pulled me towards him, my body pressed against his. My hands laid on his rock hard chest, I could feel the beating of his heart. He leaned down, placing his mouth near my ear.

"Stop asking questions and just listen," he whispered seductively.

I stopped and listened at first I didn't hear anything. But as the fast and rock pumping song that filled the room ended, everything went silent.

"Alright, everybody...were going to slow it down a bit. So everyone grab a partner and come to the dance floor," the DJ said into the microphone and people left the floor, as couples joined the dance floor. The dance floor had a little bit more room now as people paired off with the person of their choose.

A second of silence then the speakers began to play a tune I was all too familiar with. I looked at Ky, he had a wide smirk on his face.

"You sly dog," I said with a smile on my face.

"You know what song it is?" He said as the smirk on his face became cocky.

I wrapped my arms around his neck, bringing him closer to me. "How could I not remember, this was the song you told me to listen to when you were gone."

He gave me a smile and tighten his arms around me, "now it's our song," he whispered and the lyrics of the song began.

We began to dance, Ky placed his head on my forehead as we began to dance with our arms still wrapped around each other. This song meant something to me, it meant something to both of us. This song helped me feel strong when Ky had left for training, it told me no matter how many struggles I had, Ky would be right there ready to help. Ready to pick me right back up, that he will and always be there.

That was my favorite part of the whole song, those lyrics, those words. They always made my heart skipped a beat. Ky tighten his arms around me, pulling me closer to him and so did I, I exhaled feeling my heart skip a beat as Ky's hands slowly moved up and down my back.

Ky's hand came up to the back of my neck, his fingers sending chills along my skin. I looked up at him, my hands falling back down to his chest. His other hand stopped at my waist as he pulled me closer to him, his eyes were filled with so much passion and lust that it made my heart pound. We stopped and we just looked into each others eyes as the music swirled around us.

Ky pressed his lips against mine, tightening his grip on me. He pressed his lips against mine hard, prying my mouth open, wanting to taste me. Our tongues twisted together as he explored me, my heart began to pound as my hands clutched his shirt. God, I loved this boy. I soon found myself getting lost in the kiss as the chorus played again, slowing down as the song came to an end.

Hi guys, so what do you think? Do you like it? I wanted to write a sweet, cute chapter instead of an hot and heaty one like the last chapter. But don't worry there's going to be the alot more of the hot and heaty chapters. So don't worry. But I do really hope you like the book so far.

To me the book is kind of moving a little bit slow, but don't worry the next chapter is going to be upbeat and the story is going to start form. Things are going to be said, feelings are going to come out, whole lot of dramatic good stuff. So don't worry.
