Chapter 7

When I feel my grip on the rock loosen I know it's time to let go. A giant splash beside me makes me jump and I see Jason's wolf swimming to me.

'Jase! What were you thinking?!' I growl.

'I'm not letting you go.' He says as his wolf slings me onto his back and he desperately paddle away from the waterfall. I notice a black wolf in the shadows smirking.

'Jase.. Jase who is that?' I ask weakly.

'Who?' He asks and as I go to point him out the wolf had disappeared.

'Never mind..' I mumble and Jason grunts as he pushes on to get closer to the shore on the left side of the cliff.

I see a few wolves from our pack with a rope to help us and Jase grabs onto it pulling with his mouth and we reach the shore after what seemed like hours of struggling.

'Thank you..' I whimper as he lays me down.

'You'll be okay..' He mumble as he looks around for our escape. He must have told everyone to leave because that's what everyone is doing. 'Shift.'

I shake my wolf head and he growls. I shift scared of what will happen next and he instructs me to get on his back. I do as I'm told and hold onto his fur for dear life. I shiver against his cold, wet fur and lay my head on Jason's back. He climbs up the rocks almost slipping on a few and makes it to the top of the cliff in one momentum. I continue shivering and watch as my skin turns a cold blue-gray color.

"J-J-Jase." I shiver.

'Hold on baby only a few more minutes.' He coos as he runs through the forest. His feet pounding on the ground and his fur drying in the crisp night air.

We reach the house and he bolts to his room growling at the males staring. We get to the room and he lays me on the bed before switching. I shiver waiting for my heat to kick in.

"Babe.. Don't you ever! And I mean EVER do that again! Are you stupid?!" Jason yells at me and I whimper pulling my sheets closer to me. "You were almost killed.. You dumb ass!"

A tear slips and Jason's face softens.

"I'm sorry babe.. I'm just so stressed.. I don't want to lose you.. I don't.." Jason says sitting beside me.

"You won't Jase.. But you infuriate me sometimes!" I let a frustrated sigh go.

"Oh god you smell so good.." Jason says smelling up and down the column of my neck. I shiver as his warm breath makes it to the base of my neck.

"Fuck Jase..."

"Please do.." Jason smirks kissing my neck softly.

"You won't let me." I growl out.

"Somebody is sexually frustrated." Jason chuckles huskily. I roughly tug at his hair and Jason growls at me. "Now now.. No need to be rough on me... We aren't having sex yet.."

"You ass.." I breath out and he chuckles again. I feel another set of hands on my body and I go wide eyed but moan in pleasure. My wolf comes out and removes my hands from my mate and holds onto the hair of the wolf touching me.

"The f- GET OUT OF HERE!" Jason growls and the young wolf is thrown out of the room and my wolf follows Jason. We push him against the wall and grind into him.

"C'mon Jase love us..." She says kissing his neck.

"Shit.." He lets out breathlessly.

"C'mon babe.. Take us... You and Jase know you want us..." My wolf speaks to Jase's.

We are pushed up against the wall and roughly kissed. I moan as Jason's hands roam my body. His wolf is in control too. I bite his earlobe and Jason growls. I scream when I see a dark wolf run past our room, looking at me with piercing green eyes and a wink.

"The fuck?!" Jason growls running from me out of the room.

"Your next my darling.." A naked and toned man whispers in my ear. His hair is dark as night and his eyes are a dark green. He has a scar running down his cheek and he smirks. He inhales my scent and chuckles.

"Your in heat?... Maybe we can have some... Fun before I kill u." He winks. "By the way babe.. Don't tell your little Jaseipoo."

"Get out." I growl. I hear Jason's stomping and I feel a wave of relief.

"Bye babe.. See you soon." He smirks and shifts into the black wolf and hops out of the window.

I slide down the wall and let tears go. This is it. A sob comes from my mouth and the next thing I know I'm thrown on the bed.

"Jase stop!" I cry and roll over away from Jason and cry into the pillow.

"Emmy.. What's going on? Why are you crying?" Jase asks. I just sob some more and he holds me close. I feel my back press against his front and I take a dead breath to calm down and he caresses my hair.

"Everything will be okay.. Your going to be okay.." Jason whispers not knowing what to say.

It's not..

And it never will be..

Jason *POV*

Emma has fallen asleep and I cuddle into her back.

My baby is scared.. I can feel her nervousness and how scared she is like it was my own.

'Guards I want you searching the perimeter.. Luna has been scared... I don't want anyone sleeping until this man has been caught..' I growl through mind link.

I hear my men begin to search the perimeter. Good.

'Nancy?'

'Yes hun?'

'Bring 2 cups of tea to my room in an hour please.'

'Coming right up.'


I sigh and caress Emma's face until I slowly fall asleep with worry filling my body.

"Sir.."

"Sir.."

I wake up with Emma in my arms and look to my right.

"Yes." I mutter.

"Your tea sir."

"Thank you Nancy." I mumble.

"Your welcome sir." She says as she leaves the room.

I gently wake up Emma and she rolls over and into my chest.

"Yes babe..." She mumbles.

"Nancy brought some tea." I say and she nods yawning into my chest.

I sit us up on the headboard and hand her some tea. We both sip it in silence and I put my arm around her waist and pull her into me.

"Are you going to tell me why you were crying?"

"No."

No?

Ugh. She's lucky she's my mate.
