When I woke up I was secured with my mates arms around I smiled feeling the heat and pain down. I try to open his grasp on me but, he just pulled me in more. I wiggle a little trying to get a little space. He grasps me harder and his lips rest on my ear.

"Be careful kitten." He whispers and kisses my skin right behind my ear.

"Let go." I  gasp. His grip immediately softened and I rolled around to face him.

"Good morning baby girl." He says kissing my forehead.

I smile and draw designs aimlessly on his chest, "I am so gross and sweaty right now." I pout and giggle as he growls.

"Never gross baby." He says flipping over so he is on top of me, "Never gross." He whispers kissing my lips. He caresses my hair sliding the sweaty hair away. I wrap my arms around his neck as he slips his tongue into my mouth. I moan into his mouth and he smiles. He pulls away when he feels my hips buck up. "Not so fast kitten."

I glare at him as he chuckles kissing my nose.

"I'm going to take a shower." I snap at him pushing him off of me so hard he hits the wall. I look at him shocked before scurrying to the washroom, still pissed off. I turn on the shower on cold and step into the shower. I shampoo my hair and condition it. I quickly wash my body with my raspberry body wash. I slip out of the shower and dry off with the towel from under the cupboards and wrap it securely around myself. I walk out to see my mate lying on the bed looking at the ceiling in deep thought. I smirk and use my speed to straddle him. He looks at me in shock and I smirk. I was mad but, he is just so cute!

"Hi baby." I smile caressing his cheek.

"Hey my little kitten." He says holding my waist.

"What were you thinking?" I ask.

"I was just thinking about all the stuff that's going on. Thinking about how right when I leave this room I will be bombarded with things to do and I will have to leave you to do them." He sighs.

"Why will you have to leave me?" I ask.

"There is no way I am taking you with me to find the murderer." He says darkly.

"I can take care of myself." I protest.

"Not when you smell like that." He says with his eyes going dark as he takes a deep breath of me.

I lean down and kiss him softly and his hands go to my towel and undoing it. He lets it fall off my back and his right hand goes for my bum and squeezes it. the other hold my breast as he massages it. His tongue slips in and I moan onto his mouth. This time I slid a little bit up his v-line and he moans. My hands go for his hair and tugs it softly. He smiles and moans softly. I feel his arousal and grind softly on it, taking his arousal as my advantage. He hardens more and I smile while he moans some more.

Suddenly his growl echos through the house as he pushes me off and shifting. He bolts out of the room breaking down the door and I am left on the floor in utter confusion. I pick up my towel and walk to the dresser. I put on his boxers and one of his shirts and walk out of the room. I notice the mess he made in the hall. He left in a hurry. I wonder what's going on.

I step outside of his room and make my way down the hall. I walk down the stairs to see one of Jason's guards and a young girl in tears. The guard perks up from his previously crouched position and looks directly at me. His eyes flicker from his wolf to his original eyes.

"What is going on?" I ask.

"Get to y-your room L-Luna." He stutters.

"No." I say and look at the girl, "Are you okay?"

"N-No.. My mum told me to run.. He was there and.. I want my mummy!" She cries and I pick her up.

"Shhh.. it's okay. Your going to be okay I promise." I say kissing her forehead and bouncing her in small bounces on my hip.

"Luna... Please.. Before.." He slowly drifts off.

"Back to your position. I will handle the girl." I say and he nods still trying to control his wolf as he runs out of the house.

I bring the young girl up to my room and lie her on the bed, "What would you like to do?" I ask her.

"I wanna go home." She cries.

"Okay.. Wanna play a game until you can go home?" I ask her and she shrugs. "We can play with the barbies?"

She shrugs and I caress her head, "You mother will be fine sweetie. Let's get your mind off of her until we can get you back to her."

"Okay." She says wiping her tears.

I take her hand as we walk over to one of the pack house children rooms and I bring her to a box where the barbies are kept.

"Here are all of the barbies." I tell her and she nods. I hand her a blonde barbie and take out the barbie mansion. I grab the smaller box filled with clothes and another filled with the furniture.

We dress our barbie's and play with them for at least 2 hours and then we clean up all of the barbies and clothes. We put the mansion away and go to the kitchen.

"Luna!... Luna.." A boy from the pack about 16 says. The seductiveness on the second Luna puts me on edge as I walk to the fridge to prepare a lunch for me and the girl. She still hasn't said her name but, I don't want to pressure her.

"Luna.. You might want to go to your room." The boy says before his eyes go black. Crap. His wolf got him.

I push him off me and mind link Luka.

'Luka, please come to the pack house.'

'What's going on?! Are you okay?!' Luka asks in worry.

'Yah.. But, there is another male-16-here and I think he wants more then a nice chat with his Luna.' I say to him and he replies, 'I'll be there soon!'

I push the guy again and run to the other side of the island counter. He growls and tries to jump the counter to me. I quickly push him off and run to the other side of the kitchen. Luka comes running in and grabs the 16 year old by the neck. He pull him out of the kitchen but, I hear Luka's voice yell, "Stand Down."

The young wolf whimpers and I watch him scurry away. Luka comes back to me and gives me a hug.

"Be more careful. You shouldn't even be out of your room." Luka says shaking his head.

"I know. I just want to help this little girl." I say and continue making mac and cheese for lunch. "Will you be joining us for lunch?"

"I suppose yes. I told Alpha I was going to check on you but, after what happened I think he will want me to stay with you." Luka says and I nod.

After making the lunch I hand the little girl a Disney princess bowl and just put Luka and my serving on a regular plate. We finish lunch and we got the young girl laughing along with us. I hold onto Luka's shoulder laughing so hard because of the joke Luka had told.

"What's going on here?" Jason's voice asks.

"Just made some lunch for Luka, Lilly-that's the little girls name, and me." I inform Jason.

"Oh.. Okay, what was so funny?" He asks.

"Nothing." I sit straight up. It was a joke about him.

"Tell me." He says.

"No." I reply picking up our plates and putting them away.

"Where's my mummy?" Lilly asks.

"She's in the hospital getting some intense care." Jason says in a harsh tone.

I look up at Jason in complete shock. How could he be so insensitive!

I punch his shoulder and glare at him and he glares back, "Sweetie your mum will be fine." I say as Lilly begins to cry. I pick her up and rock her back and forth. "Your going to be okay." I whisper in her ear.

"I want my mummy." She cries.

"I know. Your going to be okay, though. You can stay with me until your mother is better." I say glaring at Jason who never stops glaring at me.

"Don't give her false hope." Jason snaps leaving.

"Luka can you take care of her until I am done with Jason." I tell Luka handing him Lilly and running after Jason. I tackle him down and slap his face.

"What the hell were you thinking!" I scream.

"What were you thinking! You deliberately left my room and then I find out my guards had to hold back! You are lucky I have strong men! Luka had to be there because of this! What were you thinking!" He yells at me flipping over so my back is on the ground.

"You can't keep me cooped up you know that?! I am my own person!" I scream.

"No. You are my mate!" He growls.

"Let go of me!" I scream.

"No." He growls more.

"I! SAID! LET! GO! OF! ME!!!" I scream pushing him off with all the power my wolf and i could muster up. Which wasn't much but, it got him off of me. I bolt out the door and shift. I run as fast as I can and hear my mate behind me. I growl and push myself faster. I run and jump over the edge of a small cliff and into the water. I begin to swim with the current and hear my mate coming to the edge. I hold my breath and go underwater. I begin to swim for as long as my lungs would let me.

'Where are you!' Jason growls through link.

I don't answer as I bring my head up. I notice I have swam so long I am close to the waterfall. I probably have 5 minutes and then I go over the edge.

'Jason. I am by the waterfall. Help. I- I- I'm going to fall!' I scream through link.

'Hold up baby!' He says in full panic mode.

I try to swim against the current but, it is to strong. I paddle close to the waters edge and grab onto the cliff wall. I fall off and my right side hits a large rock in the water. I groan and hold onto the rock with my left arm. I lean my left side on the rock and Jason howls at me.

I look up at his figure and put my head down.

'I am coming baby.' he says and tries to find a way to me.

'It's no use.' I say.

"Don't say that!' He says in pain.

'You and I both know I can't get out of here.' I say.

'DON'T SAY THAT!' He growls.

'Oh quit lying to yourself.' I say closing my eyes. 'I am kind of tired you know.'

'Don't you dare close your eyes on me!' He shouts.

'Oh shut up.' I say. Maybe if I act less panicked he will feel better.

'Don't leave me.' He begs.

'Oh just let me go baby. Should I reject you first?' I ask.

'NO!' He screams.

'Jason, you know what's coming. Let me go.'
