"Dude we could go over and get some ass," Archie said excitedly.

"What?"

"She's home alone and it's only three miles from here. We can go over and take turns."

"Hell no that's sick, Skylar would shoot you if you tried something like that. I'm gonna go piss real quick and you better still be in here when I get back," Cole told Archie.

"Fine."

When Cole came back in Archie's room, Archie was still in his desk chair. But Cole heard water running and saw Archie with dick in hand.

"Dude what the fuck!" Cole yelled.

"What it's free porn," Archie defended.

"No it's not you sick motherfucker! I never should've agreed to this. Turn it off!"

"No."

Cole grabbed the computer screen and slammed it on the ground, shattering it. Archie punched Cole but Cole struck back and knocked Archie out cold.

He grabbed his things, ran out the door, out of the house, and to his four wheeler. He rode down the road, passed his house, and to Skylar's.

Cole's heart raced as he walked to the front door. She's gonna hate me. He finally mustered up the courage to knock on the door.

Skylar opened it in a oversized t-shirt, pj shorts, and her hair in a towel. "Cole? What are you doing here?"

"Sky I'm sorry. I need the necklace and earrings back."

"Why?"

"I just do... and a hammer."

Skylar was confused and worried, Cole was out of breath, held guilt in his eyes, and his jaw was starting to bruise. Skylar brought him inside and told him to sit.

Whether it was out of adrenaline, guilt, or love Cole couldn't stop himself, he told Skylar everything: about the necklace and earrings and Archie and the plan and Hannah and the fight and what they watched. Cole had worked himself up so much that tears fell from his eyes. "Sky... baby... I'm sorry. I never wanted to hurt you like this. I'm so sorry. After what you said to your sister, no one ever stood up for me like that and I love you. I hate myself for fucking this up. I'm so so sorry."

Skylar at first was silent but eventually put her hand on Cole's cheek. "It's okay Cole. At least you stood up for me and tried to fix what you did. I love you but I can't believe the two of you would do this. I'm not really mad at you though I just can't be around you right now."

"You still love me after this?"

"Yeah I will always love you but for now I think you need to go home."

Cole just nodded and apologized again kissing Skylar's forehead.

Cole left and explained everything to his brother. Cole was grounded and was told had to give Skylar a formal apology with a dinner out but the weight of guilt was off him.

Skylar did eventually forgive him but Cole never truly forgave himself. He vowed no one would ever do Skylar like that again and stayed with her at her house afraid Archie would try to come hurt her.

Cole really loved Skylar and she loved him and the two make jokes about Cole fighting for her and how obsessed they were with each other.
