I'm sorry in advance, please don't kill me :)
Once again, CW: blood, death, gore, violence, pain, swearing, and someone mentally yelling at themselves briefly, but harshly (fourth paragraph)
There is a good chance that your soul will not survive the climax

The Entity's pov
Well well well. The little adventure 7 is doing better than expected. Hmmm. They even seem to be not losing terribly, despite that one casualty. Let's spice it up a little bit, shall we?
Xisuma's pov
Xisuma heard a cold, hard thud as something hit the ground. His eyes widened as he turned to see what he already knew would be there; the corpse of one of his friends.
There sat Tango's body, blood spilling out from his chest. His remaining eye was blank and unseeing.
I failed. I f-ing failed. Tango died. One of the hermits died. The hermits I am supposed to protect as an admin. But I failed. I failed, I failed, I failed.
X was too caught up in his thoughts to notice the circle of calm that now surrounded him. He was too caught up to notice the soldiers creeping up on him. Heck, he only even half noticed when he was shoved to the ground by the ghosts and the Entity started chanting something. What was that? Where did he know that from?
Too late he realized what the Entity was saying.
"ᒲᔑリ↸⚍ᓵᔑ∷ᒷ ᔑリ╎ᒲᔑ! ᒲᔑリ↸⚍ᓵᔑ∷ᒷ ᔑリ╎ᒲᔑ!" it chanted over and over again. It was taking Xisuma's soul.
Xisuma felt it. Not in the way that he thought it would feel, based on how Grian described it, but a whole other level of pain. It felt like his guts were being pulled out of him, like how it feels on a huge drop on a minecart ride, but with his energy instead.
He had been forced onto his knees and was stuck there, his life gushing out of him and into the Entity. The admin felt it start around his heart and chest and begin spreading outwards rapidly. The areas touched by it were numb and difficult to move. It was like he was being frozen in ice.
Pearl's pov
Grian looked absolutely mortified. His face was a mess of recognition, terror, pity, sorrow, and anger. Following his gaze, Pearl could see why.
In the middle of a small circle of calm was Xisuma. He was on his knees. Light was streaming out of him and into the black hole of the Entity.
Grian's pov
No.
No.
No no.
Please no.
Grian watched in horror as the admin, his friend, had the same thing that had happened to himself happen to X.
X had been looking at Tango when he was knocked down and- and the Entity started chanting. And light, Xisuma's soul, began pouring into the Entity. And stone started spreading out from Xisuma's heart.
Xisuma's pov
Xisuma looked down and saw that he was, in fact, turning to stone. The coldness, hardness, wrongness, numbness crept through his limbs and up his neck. With it brought the terrible feeling that his body was no longer his. He was no longer his. The Entity controlled him. The Entity had him in every way.
With each patch of skin that he lost, memories went with it. His brother, his first days on the server, and the many pranks and laughs the hermits had shared, all fell away like a statue crumbling.
He could barely recognize the people around him. He didn't even know who he was. The people looked kind of sad and angry and helpless as they watched him die.
Maybe I mattered to them.
The Entity's pov
The Entity's felt the raw power soak in from, what was his name? Oh, Ex-eye-zooma! It almost felt bad for the poor guy being too scared to use his full powers. It couldn't really have feelings like that though, so it just returned its attention to its play things.
The scene was getting better and better. Now there were two dead bodies! Good. More torture for the Watcher.
Pearl's pov
Pearl was shaken. Within the last five minutes, two people had died. Died. D-i-e-d. As in they were gone. Gone and not coming back. She honestly couldn't properly wrap her head around it, so instead, she just forced it into her stomach. She could deal with it, or at least try to deal with it, later. Right now, she needed to focus on the present.
Pearl tried to focus. She really did, but the adrenaline wasn't enough to keep grief out of her head. She kept zoning out for split seconds, only to come back right as a sword was about to go through her.
She jumped and dodged, trying to avoid all the blades. All of the ghost knights seemed to be taking advantage of her scattered mind.
Grian's pov
Grian couldn't help. He just couldn't. There was nothing he could do to help X, despite having gone through the same ordeal, albeit slower. It only made it worse, knowing that he was absolutely useless as his friend died before him. Maybe that's what the Entity's trying to make me feel. Well, if it is, then it's certainly working.
The ex-Watcher scanned the room, checking on the others. Mumbo was doing fine, although his wrist seemed to be hurting him. Scar had found a ledge or something and was shooting at the ghosts from above. False was doing well and was heading very intentionally in one direction. He glanced that way and saw Pearl who was getting overwhelmed.
Pearl's pov
The blows crashed harder and harder. She kept pausing for longer and longer. The adrenaline was starting to leave her. I can't keep this up for much longer.
Just as she thought she was going to get completely smothered by the ghosts and blades, False broke through and helped fight them off. The two fought back to back, slashing and stabbing, and making a dent in the oncoming torrent. Things were actually starting to look better. They were making headway.
The Entity's pov
Oh no. Is the blue-hooded one feeling... hopeful? Oh no. We simply cannot let this slide. Hmmm, where's her hope coming from?
Pearl's pov
Pearl felt something worm into her head. It dug around for a wretched split second before pulling back, leaving a slimy trail of unpleasantness behind it. What in the Herobrine?
The Entity's pov
Oh, found it! Wow, her brain really is a scattered mess. The one with the broken goggles seems to be fixing that though. She's also the point of her hope. Her safety net. Well, I can take care of that. The Entity snapped its fingers.
False's pov
False felt that horrible sensation that had come over her when she entered the throne room again. She couldn't move. Her body just wasn't responding. It was like being buried in concrete power and then being shoved into a river.
It also meant she couldn't fight with Pearl.
Pearl's pov
Pearl shook off the weird feeling in her brain and continued fighting. She and False had fallen into a rhythm of sorts. A wonderful duet of destroying the Entity's stupid ghost knights.
She stabbed at a soldier, expecting False to cover her right. She didn't. Instead, False's body went rigid and pulled away from Pearl. A quick look at False told Pearl that her friend's eyes were glowing in the same way the Entity's magic did when they first arrived.
False's pov
False felt her limbs move in a jerking motion as if the Entity was getting used to her body. After a few seconds, it fully figured out how her limbs worked and raised her sword.
Her body charged at Pearl.
The Entity swung her sword. It sliced at Pearl's leg, which she wasn't prepared for. That's where she had been expecting False to cover her.
Pearl crumpled to the ground, blood gushing from the wound on her thigh.
Pearl's pov
Pearl knew hitting an artery in the thigh could leave you to bleed out in three or four minutes. And judging by the vast quantities of blood gushing out of her leg, she had concluded that's what happened.
Her oddly rational thinking was cut off as her brain properly registered the pain. Oh, the pain! It flooded her senses and consumed her world, clouding her vision and sending her toppling to the ground, crying and clutching her leg.
She looked up at what had attacked her leg and saw False standing over her, sword raised to strike her head.
"False," Pearl whispered desperately, "False, come back to me. Please."
False's pov
False tried as hard as she could to prevent her arms from bringing the flat of her sword down, but it was in vain.
Pearl's pov
The sword came down, leaving the dark pain storm to drag her into the abyss.
