UNDERSTANDING.
i've seen lots of comments that say things like "i don't like myself", "i can't find anything positive about myself", and, "i'm not doing this challenge because it's not going to work".
i understand.
no, i don't understand exactly how you're feeling. people say that they do, but they're wrong. no one is going through the exact same problems as you. no one has experienced things the way you've experienced them. some people say "you're just sad" or "you're just begging for attention" which is completely wrong. it is an unforgivable thing to say since they aren't taking your feelings into consideration. they're not thinking about things or seeing things from your point of view.
what i do understand is that a little challenge and a few words of encouragement isn't going to change your view of yourself. it's not that easy, and it never will be.
but i want you to remember that the goal of this challenge is to spread positivity and promote self-love, even if it's just a spark of it. please try, it might help a little bit! if you don't want to do the challenge, at least smile at your reflection at least once everyday. you deserve to be happy and be appreciated for who you are!
you are a beautiful human being and i love you so much. you might not believe it, but i definitely do.
( i might be wrong about some of the things stated above, i'm just writing about this based off of what i've seen in my life )
